Anyone with brains can tell you that, with several different people measuring you across all those times, doing it by hand each time, if you don't "lose" three inches total just from making the tape measure tighter or measuring slightly higher or lower than the last tech did, you're not doing it right... ;-) So, interesting to try merely to have one anecdotal element to add when you're out with your girlfriends, but, per usual: caveat emptor!
