We approached this place, liked the look, were cool with the menu, and figured we would give this small burger shop a chance for lunch. Although I was hungry, I wasn't starving so I ended up ordering the Ozzy's Antioch Chicken Burger (unusual for me because I'm a burger fiend). I kept it simple and stick with just the chicken burger and no sides, so luckily the food only took maybe five minutes or so to actually come out. Once served, I bit into this chicken burger that consisted of grilled chicken tenders, Ozzy's salsa, lettuce, and whatever Ozzy's special sauce is and was pleasantly shocked at just how good just a simple burger turned out to be. The meat was super juicy and the two sauces together packed a pretty flavourful punch that I really, really enjoyed. The restaurant is not big and when I got there, there were a few empty tables with many customers already enjoying their food. From the brunch menu, I opted to get a coffee, the mac and cheese (in a cashew-turmeric cream sauce, breadcrumbs, and chives) as well as a side baby gem (almond vinaigrette, crispy shallot, pangritata). The coffee was great and staff came around to ask if I wanted refills on my coffee. I didn't expect the side baby gem salad to be so delicious but it was! The crispy shallots mimicked bacon and the almond vinaigrette made the salad creamy yet refreshing at the same time. The mac and cheese was cooked al dente and tasted great where the colour could have fooled anyone to think that this was actual mac and cheese. Service was friendly and staff came around several times to make sure I was doing okay. Overall, great new addition to the Dundas/Ossington area if you're in the mood for plant-forward food.
