My mother has used this pharmacy since it opened in 2014 and they have been awesome at ensuring that all of her needs are met. Pharmacists Tony and Miss Joe run a tight ship to make sure customers have what they need when they need it. Rwan and all the other team members are great at customer service. I really appreciate that everyone knows my mother and me by name when we call because it indicates a willingness to personalize our interactions instead of making it only about business. I love the fact that, unlike larger retail companies, Triad Choice Pharmacy makes an effort to get to know its customers. In addition to their retail services, they also offer home delivery and pill packs, both services my mother enjoys. Oh, and I can't forget to mention that there are staff members who speak Spanish for customers who may need that. Whatever you need, they will try to help! The business is located on the Southside of Winston-Salem off of Waughtown Street, and is easily accessible from the highway. They have drive-thru access as well. Gina Gordon from Care Patrol was really a savior to me and my family. My father who had been 100%…read moreindependent, amazingly healthy, and still an active writer, researcher, and speaker, had a stroke one day that totally affected the portions of his brain dealing with verbal comprehension. Physically he was not limited but over night, he became a person that has some off the speech and emotionally lability of a toddler while needing round the clock care and MANY adjuncts put in place (safety, new living arrangements, speech therapy, etc.). Plus his medical care network is hundreds of miles away in his primary residence city. Gina helped me - the middle of three sons and Power of Attorney for my Dad - find the right care despite his somewhat unique care profile (physically unlimited, distant geographic medical and familial support system, and all-of-a-sudden significant cognitive deficits). I often felt at my wit's end with nowhere to turn, ignorant to what my dad needed, caught between short-term, expensive, and wanting-to-discharge hospitals/ rehabs, and the wishes (although hard to understand) of my Dad. Not only did Gina know all of the possibilities, but she also had great relationships to the leadership of many different facilities, and thereby was able to help facilitate the "square peg in a round hole" that my Dad and his needs were turning out to be. But, by far the biggest benefits were Gina's kindness to me and my father, patience through millions of questions, advocacy to different facilities and staff (like getting a rehab to keep my Dad a little longer as the next placement location was difficult to finalize), and literally around-the-clock availability. I said to my family many times that "Gina took me off the ledge" meaning that this shocking life event - my Dad's stroke - left me feeling so hopeless and helpless many times...Gina was always there to offer advice and many possible pathways that helped my Dad in his recovery and really improved my mental health and well-being during this stressful time.
