While camping in Savannah recently, I need to refill a propane tank. I pulled into the parking lot…read moreand set my tank on the scale and went inside to request a refill. The gentleman behind the counter immediately called for an employee to help me. A very friendly guy met me outside, and while filling the tank, we exchanged pleasantries. He then carried the tank to my vehicle and sent me on my way, having thanked me for my patronage. The business looks to have everything and more that a great hardware should have, and a friendly staff to support it.

If you are going to Blatantly racially profile your customers. At least have the ability to be good…read moreat it. Watching me intensely and sending a store directly to me.. where he's standing less than 2 inches from me and gets right in my face. It was so blatant he didn't even say may I help you? He said what are you looking for? all while holding his radio and taking orders from his masters. The whole experience is pretty outrageous. Pretty gross situation. I totally hate coming to the store. The store has a history of mistreating certain Customers. But I will be putting a word out this time.. how can they improve? The first step would be if they are going to profile people they should learn the types of things that can help identify someone who has criminal intentions versus a customer looking for marine epoxy. Which is going on colour is an ignorant and ineffective way to cut down on store crime. Mis perceiving people ethnicity is also a problem and there could be legal issues when it comes to the heavy-handed nature of their profiling.

They also carry cute shoes and the cutest bags and purses!! All great finds and would make great gifts as well. We are new to the area and hubby was working on an epoxy garage floor but wanted to do it himself …read more Unfortunately the kit he bought didn't have enough paint to cover the floor. So we went on line and this was the closest location that had the color in stock. Once we arrived we came to find out that the manufacturer renamed the color but the one they had would work to finish the project. After we checked out we learned that they have the most amazing artwork on their walls for sale. So the sales associate went into action to take them off the walls for us so we could purchase them. Needless to say the service here is literally out of this world as three associates assisted us to our vehicle. The pricing is also very reasonable. Their garden shop has a beautiful selection of flowers. As well as the clothing and shoes are great. Got the most comfortable slippers for $10. Our next visit they had a barbecue outside for charity. You pay at the register and we had the most delicious hamburgers and hotdog. Since it was Memorial Day weekend they were giving out small American Flags as well. What a wonderful experience. This is our favorite Ace Hardware the sales associates and inventory make this location exceptional. They have us as customers for life!

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I don't appreciate the disrespect nice to know you people don't care about the customer and you'd rather make fun of them for trying to put themselves out there.
