She was quoted £9.90 . She questioned the price and they said they could do a service for just over. I interrupted and asked why they just couldn't quote her the first class price. On doing so,s he paid just over £3 for the service. I then asked why the continuously always quote the highest price to customers first. I was met with silence. I only now use the shop in an emergency. I choose to walk an extra 20 minutes to go to shop where the staff are friendly and helpful and quote the first class price first and THEN ask if I want to pay more for registered or recorded services. They must be on commission - treating customers like this, especially pensioners is appalling. Shame on them!

While these types of post office/off license combinations seem to be closing at a rapid rate all over London, it's unlikely to happen to this branch judging by the sheer amount of people that walk through the door. Other products include tobacco, lotto tickets, sweets, drink and alcohol. The post office side suffers from slow service at busy times. It can be a very frustrating thing, particularly if there are snotty children in the queue. After all... why build three help counters if only one is ever to be used? Other than this however, Junction Box warrants a visit if you like to buy Hershey's after taking care of your mail.

This takes you past an array of items on sale from the predictable; parcel wrappings etc. to the unexpected; knee support bandages and shower curtains! The staff are generally friendly but they do tend to 'upsell' whenever they can. They also unlock phones and fix laptops here! Bizarre but handy shop.

Went to Kensington High street Post office to renew our expired passport today 10am 10/07/24. We were served by a gentileman (name Badge was Harinder). Harinder considered our age and explained the cons and pros of the application system and chose the safest system to apply and receive. He was very knowledeable in that field. He also advised us not to travel with out a travel insurance, and to my wife about a life insurance for six pounds. We were very happy with the service. Now a days Super market to Hospitals are considering people as consumers. This gentleman treated us as a friend advised for our welfare. Thank you Harinder.

It's spacious, clean and bright, with a reasonably sized sales area selling stationery items - the queue goes through it, so you can browse while you are waiting. Service is pretty reasonable - the queues here don't seem too bad, and move fairly quickly, and the staff are generally friendly. Christmas is the exception though, when you may have to wait 15 minutes. It's always better first thing in the morning. Services include everything you'd expect from a large branch - Royal Mail, Licences, Bureau de Change, Insurance and various other offers from the Post Office (though these are mostly available online too). There's a bus stop just outside with a wide range of services.
