not even worthy of one star. staff are consistently rude. most recently they have messed up a signed for delivery containing medications before a trip abroad and been totally unhelpful in explaining the situation or resolving it. read more

I would give them no stars if I could. The staff ALWAYS quote the highest price on services. I watched today as an elderly Lady wanted to post an advent calendar to her granddaughter. She was quoted £9.90 . She questioned the price and they said they could do a service for just over. I interrupted and asked why they just couldn't quote her the first class price. On doing so,s he paid just over £3 for the service. I then asked why the continuously always quote the highest price to customers first. I was met with silence. I only now use the shop in an emergency. I choose to walk an extra 20 minutes to go to shop where the staff are friendly and helpful and quote the first class price first and THEN ask if I want to pay more for registered or recorded services. They must be on commission - treating customers like this, especially pensioners is appalling. Shame on them! read more

Running an errand for my boss, I visited this post office in Putney to post a letter recorded delivery. Big mistake. This is possibly the worst customer service I have ever had in a public establishment. The shop is very dingy and dim even on a bright summer day. There is a mismatch arrangement of trinkets and postcards, and two counters: one for travel money and one for general services. Finally working out which one was which, I was greeted with a grimace from the assistant who barely spoke a word of English, and then went on to be treated as if it was annoying that I wanted to use the service. The man on the other till was blatantly and openly browsing on his mobile phone, and I got the "refuse to touch" dropping change service for free too! Visit this place at your peril! read more

Since living in Putney for 2 and a half years Ive been to the Post Office a handful of times only. When you first walk in there is a shop that sells Envelopes, cards, postcards ; the usual. If you want peas, sugar, sweets, biscuits while you wait in line for a looooooong time its all for sale. You will probably need a sugar hit to keep you going till the line gets closer. Its filthy and always has looked like they are closing down because this shop is ugly. The lights in the post office area are off so we cant see the counter properly the staff are not interested in the customers.The floor is full of whatever is thrown on the floor . An elderly lady, after waiting in the line for a ridiculous amount of time was bringing a package back for whatever reason. Is fobbed off and sent on her way because the man behind the counter couldnt be bothered with her and didnt speak clear English or try to understand this lady who obviously deserved to be given his time. When you eventually reach the counter its a robot behind there. You'd be lucky if they made eye contact and you leave feeling like you need a shower. Id like to take off my 1 star read more

I was appalled by the service I received on a saturday afternoon. I was confused as to which posts were open as they would serve customers at the back desk when they felt even though a closed signed was displayed at the glass window. I asked wether the cashier was serving and I was told to use the other tills near the entrance. The server at the other desk was free and I went to their post. I was told to join a que. I then joined The non existant que. The server then instantly served a customer that walked straight to their post. I was very shocked. What was that all about?I am not going their again. Staff can be quite rude, and the service is not good. I used the money gram service once, and girl got the receiver's name wrong (I have written down the name , and gave to her, before she completed the transaction) I have realised when I was leaving.
