So without further ado: To the Management of RRHC, I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the substandard care and unprofessional conduct I have experienced as a patient at RRHC this week. I have been a patient at RRHC for over two years, and while I've been understanding of the atrocious staff turnover rate, this situation is pure medical negligence. The recent mishandling of my prescription refill for 7.5 mg Norco, which I require to manage my spinal cord injury, is not only unacceptable but has left me in a potentially dangerous situation. The events that transpired between August 5th and August 9th, 2024, demonstrate a severe lack of competence, communication, and patient care within your organization. Despite having an approved prescription, your staff's incompetence and negligence left me without critical medication, exposing me to unnecessary pain and potential withdrawal symptoms. The conduct of your staff, particularly the MA [redacted] and the receptionist [redacted], was nothing short of appalling. I was subjected to lies, verbal abuse, and blatant disregard for my well-being. I was yelled at, talked over, and belittled because they did not want to take responsibility for the mishandling of my medication or take the time to fix the mistake. Your employees repeatedly provided false information, failed to take appropriate action, and demonstrated a shocking lack of empathy and professionalism. I demand an immediate and thorough investigation into this incident, including a review of all recorded phone conversations. The level of neglect, misinformation, and hostility I encountered is entirely unacceptable and violates medical ethics and patient care standards. Furthermore, I expect: 1. A formal apology from your organization. 2. Mandatory patient/staff conflict training and CSR etiquette for ALL staff members. 3. A comprehensive review and overhaul of your prescription management processes. 4. Assurance that this will never happen again, to me or any other patient. Should I not receive a satisfactory response and see concrete actions taken to address these issues within the next five business days, I will be forced to escalate this matter to the appropriate regulatory bodies and consider legal action. My review is only based on seeing Dr. Caroline Conner, which is why I'm giving more than 1 star…read more At my most vulnerable I've ever been Dr. Conner was the least compassionate doctor I have ever seen. I went to EFP due to a car accident I had (which I was not at fault for). I was on the job during the accident so I had to be treated through Worker's Compensation, and the sent me there. It was serious accident where I t-boned someone going 50mph because they didn't stop at a stop sign. I had sprained my ankle, but had incredible bruising all over. She prescribed physical therapy, which I went to for a number of months. My physical therapist was incredibly helpful, EPT Rehabilitation. There were a few issues I had with her. I had pain and numbness in my right hand and arm. I asked her about it and she acted like it was no big deal. She barely acknowleged it. When I went to EPT and told them about it they said it was due to my right shoulder taking in the most impact, which damaged the nerve bundle in my neck, which connected right through the path of where my pain and numbness stared and ended. Again, I brought it up to Dr. Conner and she did nothing. Luckily the pain has subsided, but often in times of stress it itches really badly. About 6 months into treatment Dr. Conner prescribed another 3 weeks of treatment, but it took well over a month for it to be approved by WC. I had another appointment with her before it was even approved. At that time she learned I had a lawyer. Who wouldn't after an accident like that? She actually came out and accused me of only trying to get money. She said I was fine and I didn't need any more treatment. Even though I was still waiting to see the PT from the last time she prescribed it. I told her about a spot in my back that really hurt. She pushed on it really hard, told me I was fine. My back was in even more pain from her pushing on it for TWO days! It was so frustrating and still is. I still deal with a lot of back pain. I feel if I were to receive appropriate treatment I might not be in as much pain as I am. I didn't care about the money. I was only 25 and wanted my health. To this day I get migraines related to the pain in my upper back and I have sciatica that comes and goes. It's been 7 years. I would strongly advise, if you go to Eureka Family Practice to stay away from Caroline Conner, and see someone else.

Let me start by saying I recently had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. 3 weeks ago while…read morein Mexico I pulled a muscle in my left shoulder. The pain was an 8 out of 10. I tried every OTC med there was and nothing helped at all except for ice, which was only barely effective. So I get back in town and see my physician dr korenstein at eureka family practice. I tell him I'm miserable, I can't sleep and my left shoulder is killing me. I tell him I've tried everything OTC. He gives me a med that doesn't help. I ask again and I get generic Alleve after telling him no OTC med works. Doesn't he listen? I ask again for help and I'm told that I need to go to the ER for help. WTF? What kind of patient care is that? I see this loser has 2 other negative reviews here. I used to like EFP but I'm done until they get rid of this douce.

I went to Mad River's birth center to deliver my first baby. I was pleased with the information…read morethey provided prior to the delivery, such as the tour of the birth center and pregnancy classes offered. When it came time to deliver the nursing staff was very helpful and supportive. The birth was a bit problematic and some procedures were necessary for our newborn immediately after delivery. All of these were done efficiently and professionally. They kept us informed of all they were doing and why. Due to the birth center being VERY packed with deliveries, some of the services on the following days took a bit longer than expected, but we still received excellent support from the nursing staff. The atmosphere is definitely relaxed and procedures lacked some of the safeguard steps, which is much different from other hospital facilities I am familiar with in more metropolitan areas. However, I felt confident in their ability to care for me and my newborn. I would definitely recommend the Mad River birth center.

No, not EVERYONE there is bad, there are a few nurses here and there but they usually dont stay long. I have kept quiet about every single horrible expierence but not anymore. My mother in law was seen here Christmas morning, very sick, not the first time she went to try and get help since she was sick for months. The ER told her to just go home and gave her an antibiotic and told her she now had Diabetes. That was it, no papers or instructions for next steps being a new diabetic. Three days later she was dead. Autopsy said she died from a blood clot to the heart and a gallbladder that was FULL of stones. She was 64 yrs old and should have been admited for tests..tests that would have caught both things. but no, the dr always called her a homeless druggie. Yes her lifestyle was not the best, but she deserved to be treated with compassion, and listened to. She had so many people on her emergency contact list including my daughter that is a NA who lived just a couple mins down the road. No they searched and found her twin sister who lived out of town and said she died and hung up...our Aunt said they were so cold on the phone. When my husband, her oldest, got the call from out niece who was the first one to see her dead and we dropped everything and drove there quickly from a few miles away to see mom. We got there and asked to view her. When they took us in and walked away my husband rushed over to take the blanket off his moms face, he was devestated because they had left the tube in her throat and her eyes were still open. My daughter stopped the rest of us from seeing her face until she herself closed moms eyes. My daughter looked over her body and said that they didnt treat her body with dignity like she was trained in this county to do. When asked them to please remove the tube they said they couldn't, only the coroner could. When coroner showed up it was actually someone we know from one of our church wards. He said that was wrong, all they needed to do was call him and ask to remove before presenting to family. He sent us outside for a few mins and then called us back in and said "this is how she should have been presented to you". Our family considers her death as part their fault. We will now fight for her.
