Great job! Installed a cap that looks and feels exactly like the rest of my teeth. I would highly recommend.

Angela, who was in front, was very kind and attentive so I felt very safe being in here as a patient.

This is a letter I wrote to Dr Kosmac. She hasn't replied:…read more Hi Dr. Kosmac, 5-28-25 I'm not happy with the extraction of my molar and the bridge that was put in. I'll explain why: You may not remember, but a couple years before the extraction, you put in a crown on that tooth. The crown was hitting on my top tooth quite noticeably. I told you, and you didn't seem to want to do anything about it. So I thought maybe it would just wear down over time. That could have caused the fracture which led to the abscess and the root canal, etc. Last fall, you told me there was a crack (you said crack and not fracture at that time) in that molar and that it would eventually fail, and that we should pull it and put a bridge in. That was your recommendation. I trusted your judgment and agreed to do it. Well, when you pulled it, I don't think there was a crack in it. I still have the tooth. And I've read that small fractures can fill through mineralization. When you pulled it, you didn't say anything about a crack or a fracture. What you said was, "Well, I didn't expect that." What you expected was a crack. When I asked you about the supposed crack at the next appointment, you did not respond directly, but looked at your notes, not at me, and said, "It says here there was a fracture." The temporary bridge you put in was very jagged on the bottom. For a month and a half or so I endured the pain of that poking into my gums. I didn't know this was what was causing the pain at the time. When I went in to get the bridge put on, you told me I needed a root canal because of a deep cavity. So, I got the root canal from another dentist, and you put the bridge in. The bridge is way too low. I cannot chew on that side because it doesn't hit the opposing teeth at all. Instead my front teeth hit which are in pretty bad shape. I've recently had to get four crowns on my upper front teeth. About two weeks after the permanent bridge was put in, I flossed next to the front of the bridge and pulled up. The bridge has felt loose ever since in the front. So this has been bothering me too. You told me the bridge was gold. Dr Akbari said the bridge is not gold. It's probably stainless steel, she said, with maybe a little gold in it. I had a tooth pulled that I don't feel needed to be pulled. I have a bridge put in that you said was gold, that's not gold. And the bridge is way too low, so that I cannot chew on that side. To take such a drastic measure as to pull a tooth, I think a fresh x-ray should have been done and a 3D scan should have been done. These were not done. You used a two year old x-ray to determine that the tooth needed to be pulled. If these images were done, then the deep cavity would have been found that was next to my molar that was extracted. This may have been the mild to moderate pain I felt when I chewed on that side before the extraction, not the tooth in question that was pulled. I feel everything should have been done to try to save that tooth before extracting it. The deep cavity also might have been found if there was an exam, but an exam was not done in almost 2 years, even though I told Trish that I hadn't had an exam that year-2024. Apparently, you didn't let her know or put it on the computer that an exam was not done. You have referred to a "preliminary exam." That was not a full exam at all. You just looked at a different tooth in question that I had complained about. It's just been an ongoing dental nightmare for me with no end, apparently. Two thirds of my retirement savings is now wiped out. It was over $6,000 for those four crowns. Any money I got back from my insurance for the bridge has been wiped out due to the root canal and the crowns, plus new x-rays and examinations. I kindly ask that you refund the money I paid for the extraction and the bridge. I will need to get something done with that bridge eventually, so it's going to cost me more money, besides the pain that I've endured and still get. I've been depressed over this issue for months and the depression has increased the last couple months. The extraction was about $300 and the bridge was about $3,300. I kindly request that you refund that money. If you choose not to, I can leave reviews of what happened to me on your site and Yelp. And, I can file a claim with the dental board. And lastly, I can go to small claims court. I think you could absorb this loss much easier than I can. And like I said, it's going to cost me a lot more to get a taller bridge or to do something else to make this bridge work. My teeth are already ground down. I don't need to get them ground down anymore to match the height of the bridge. Please respond within a week. If I don't hear from you, I'll proceed with the aforementioned other remedies. Dave Ross

I have not lived in Eureka for three years, but I often find myself still thinking about how…read moreamazing Dr. Kime was and how much I miss having him as my dentist. Dr. Kime was the first dentist who took my jaw pain seriously. Previous dentists said there was nothing that could be done about my persistent jaw pain, but Dr. Kime explained that wearing a night guard would help (and it did). I had previously developed a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist because I knew that keeping my mouth open for so long would cause my jaw to become tense and, at times, lock up. However, Dr. Kime listened to me, believed me, and always made sure I was comfortable. I also got an amazing teeth whitening at Dr. Kime's. I had told him and his staff that I was getting married and the whitening really helped boost my confidence on my wedding day. In fact, years later, I still feel so much confidence from having whiter teeth. The process was easy, comfortable, and stress free. Dr. Kime and his staff were all so generous and kind during my time as a patient there. I will always compare my dentists to Dr. Kime and I will not settle for substandard dentistry again because I know that amazing dentists are out there. If you ever read this Dr. Kime (or staff), thank you so much.

The front desk ladies are a pleasure to speak with and very helpful, patiently & thoughly answering all my questions. Those working on my teeth really put me at ease. Every last bit of gunk was removed during a full 1-hr session and afterwards my teeth were transformed from slightly yellow to glistening white! They felt completely different - completely smooth and shiny.
