I really appreciate how he does "the shots"; he has a technique that makes it quite tolerable. All of his work has been top-notch; he is worth what he charges, which has to cover a professional and nice office. I only had one glitch with him, but that's cuz he is a mainstream doctor; he does not care to hear about my use of tea tree oil and neem toothpaste when I tell him why, according to him, "I have the best gums he's seen". Also, when I got an infection in my jaw after a root canal, he would not admit that I had gotten one; fortunately, I was able to get antibiotics from another doctor. But alternative dentists tell the truth about how root canals can lead to infection.

The periodontal special cleaning costs over 2000 dollars as opposed to a regular cleaning at a couple hundred. As a low income student I explained it to her that I could not afford that and I just went in for a cleaning and she insisted the disease was imperative and my teeth would rot unless I did it. she tried to set up several different sessions of my busy time. I had to pay for her to poke my gums and didn't even get my teeth cleaned, over $300 and three separate visits for nonsense! She also instructed me to NOT floss my teeth until I got through with the periodontal cleaning! A dentist instructing someone not to floss!? Greedy Scam Artist!

I used to dread a visit to the dentist, he was rough, he was expensive, and he was unprofessional. At this dentist office, patients never feel rushed or uncomfortable. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Peshka employs a gentle touch and a calming nature that helps patients relax during treatment. She understands that a patient's mouth is sensitive and she performs all treatments gently. She made every effort to try to minimize any pain and discomfort. She uses state of the art equipment to obtain full mouth x-ray exam. The equipment used to obtain the x-rays caused no discomfort at all. The last time I remember getting x-rays they were extremely discomforting. Dr. Peshka stays current on medical devices so this helps elevate some discomforts associated with going to the dentist. Everything down to the last detail she makes an effort to make the patients comfortable. She gives patients an opportunity to have a dental chair turn on at your desire to get a back message. Yes, that's right, a dental chair that doubles as a message chair. It is in the details. I find it extremely helpful that Dr. Peshka educates patients. She is a great dentist because she has wealth of knowledge about teeth and oral hygiene. She encourages her patients to develop good preventative care habits. Front office: Almost always my appointments are 8:30 and for some reason, they seem to not staff the front desk until.....8:30 and not a moment sooner. Today, they didn't make it to the front desk until 8:36. But they were all there, I could hear them cackling about American Idol or something. And when they finally came out, they were shocked to see 5 appointments standing in line and filling the waiting room. If my insurance is paying $1000 per kid per visit, it would be nice to have some sort of reception.
