I needed to have an exam is what they said. going.to cost me about 400 dollars that was fine because I was considering getting a new dentist. I was very specific about the few crowns I needed and I got a price from them so I decided to go in because I could afford that. To make a long story short, they wanted to charge me $1500 more for no reason and I told them about The importance of doing what you say you're going to do. When you're in business that is very important. The big problem about giving me a price over the phone and wasting my time and 400 dollars. While waiting to be established as a new patient, a tooth that needed to be extracted broke off at the gum line. I was given an emergency visit (even though not even established yet). I explained that I had "dental anxiety". Dr Lewis was very kind, explained everything carefully then performed the broken tooth extraction with skill. It was extracted quickly and pain free! Dr Lewis dental assistant was knowledgeable and skilled at taking X-rays. I received a full exam that day, as well. Jan at the front desk was quick to respond to all my voice messages and answer all my questions with compassion and professionalism. My 'dental anxiety' was met with patience, kindness and care. After moving to the area, I needed a new dentist who also had ortho options since I have had ortho work done prior. After reading some reviews and calling around for availability, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Gordon's office and I'm so happy I did! The initial phone call to inquire about availability, pricing (I'm uninsured) and talk over my needs was great! Their receptionist is so friendly and helpful. Upon my first appointment, I had to cancel due to illness but their office was accommodating and understanding. They got me in ASAP! My first appointment was great! Dr. Gordon was precise, answered all of my questions. I had many questions about my care and he didn't pressure or try to "sell" me on any extra work or unnecessary procedures. Mr. Gordon and his staff were professional and very friendly. I plan to make him my family dentist for my children as well when needed. I'm happy to have found his office and definitely recommend. I have even placed a follow up visit for a retainer and cleaning. Also, plan to make an appointment for a whitening procedure as well. read more

We love Dr. Lewis! My family has been to his office twice for our dental checkups and the staff there is amazing. The dental hygienist works so well with my toddler letting her hold things and talking to her the entire time that my daughter loves going to the dentist! The hygienist is also very thorough which I love and my teeth always feel amazing when we leave. Dr. Lewis himself never seems rushed and takes his time to answer all questions and explains them well. He also makes sure he reads your chart throughly and comes in asking questions about your previous visit. Other than that the office itself is beautiful, they decorate it beautifully for the holidays. They have a flat screen tv and coffee and refreshments in the waiting room and toys for the kids when you leave. Overall I have been to a lot of dental offices and this happens to by my favorite. read more

Horrible !!! My kids and I had to go to another dentist to have dental work corrected from Dr Lewis. His wife is absolutely unprofessional. Never experienced anything like this dental office in my life. If you can... go to another dentist. I just switched to this office and wish I had done so much sooner! The friendly staff were thorough and accommodating. My hygienist Marisa was very sweet and good at what she does. She makes you comfortable which is especially important in a situation that often makes people feel anxious. She even had me pick the Pandora station while she cleaned my teeth. Dr. Lewis has a great bedside manner, is confident, competent, and his accent is delightful! They even gave me a free sample of an at home whitener available for sale. My teeth sparkle! read more

I too, cannot fathom the first review. Our family has used Dr. Lewis since he purchased the practice from our Dentist of 25 years, and the transition was absolutely seamless! Being local business owners, we feel this kind of slander is hurtful, and medical businesses have no recourse because of privacy laws. I love this dental office! The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Lewis knows his business and is kind and gentle. The waiting room is nicely decorated and has a Keurig with tea, coffee and cocoa pods, as well as a basket of free dental samples (floss, toothpaste, etc.). There's even off-street parking! The office is very clean, records and scheduling are computerized, they have a ramp for wheelchair access, and Dr. Lewis even has a lab for in-house crown manufacturing. Where does one begin to leave a review of a dental office that takes good care of you in all aspects. From the minute I first walked in to Dr Lewis DDS for my first appointment I was greeted by my first name and with a welcoming smile. I was seen within minutes of my arrival after filling out my paperwork. Not only did I find every member of the staff friendly and knowledgeable but I think I finally found and a dentist that truly cares about his patients. Dr. Lewis is one of the gentlest dentist I have ever seen. Though I had several appointment set up after my initial visit I had told the receptionist Jan to put me down for any cancellations that might happened to come before my next appointment. As it goes I was seen the next day from my follow-up as well as the next couple of days because of cancellations. I am so happy with the work that was done and with every member of Dr Lewis's staff as well as Dr Louis himself. If you are looking for a dentist I would highly recommend Dr Lewis. read more

I hate going to the dentists it seriously scares the crap out of me but I had to go and get a 4 crown tooth pulled and Dr. Lewis was so great, he made me feel comfortable and not rushed, I'd say he was pretty awesome...and that helps a lot!!!!!! read more

I was a patient at Dr. Lewis' office for over year, choosing him simply because his office took amex and that was the only way I could pay for dental care at the time. I came to his office originally because of a chipped tooth. I was born with front teeth that are too small and pitted (a result of my mother needing antibiotics when she was pregnant with me) and since I first grew adult teeth I had to get bonding to cover up these defects. My teeth shifted as an adult and as a result of that my bonding began to chip because my bite was off. The only way to fix this is to pay for braces (3k) and get veneers (another 3k) which are more sturdy than bonding. As you can imagine since I was paying for these chipped bonding appointments 2-3 times a year with a credit card I couldn't afford 6k in dental costs, like most people around here. Well, after my third or fourth visit of getting this bonding chip repair Dr. Lewis refused to fix my bonding unless I made a plan to get braces and veneers, an option which he and his staff must of have known I couldn't afford. Not only this but his front office staff let me know this by calling the day before my appointment that I had already waited 1-2 weeks for. I asked to speak to the doctor but she said he was busy. I asked for him to call me back and he never did. I had to wait weeks with an unsightly chip in my tooth (he refused to fix it one last time so I had to walk around with half a front tooth missing) to meet with a new dentist who has allowed me to continue getting my chipped tooth repaired until I could afford to get braces which I have just been able to do. And guess what? Her repairs last longer, are thicker and sturdier and account for my bite in a way that I only need the inevitable repairs 1-2 a year. Basically he's a shitty dentist and shitty person. Skip this place and head over to Dr. Tipton, she's kind and she knows what she's doing. read more

My husband and I went to Dr. Lewis for several years after he took over the practice from our former dentist. At first things seemed to go well, but over time we became increasingly disappointed, although we liked Dr. Lewis personally very much. He's a calm, kind, soft-spoken man. Unfortunately, his dentistry skills were not up to par with our previous dentist (although Dr. Lewis' dental assistants and hygienists seem perfectly skilled). After Dr. Lewis installed a crown in my mouth, he never seemed to be able to get my bite corrected...I finally had to go to another dentist in order to remedy the problem. Dr. Lewis installed a crown in my husband's mouth, and it fell off twice within a three week period...the second time Dr. Lewis refused to fix it. The worst problem we had was with the office staff, who refused to allow us to pay our bills on the first day of the month, as we had ever since we started with the previous dentist. They insisted instead that it had to be on the date of service, and warned us that we would never find a dentist who would allow us to pay our bills on the first of the month, which was patently absurd....we found one easily! When I mentioned that I may need to find another dentist that would allow us to pay our bills as we always had, they immediately asked if I wanted to cancel my appointments. We felt that they were eager to be rid of us rather than trying to work with us. There were never any harsh words exchanged...it was just a very cold and unwelcoming environment as soon as I questioned their billing policy. They even sent us a letter stating that we were no longer Dr. Lewis' patients, which seemed unnecessary...as though they thought we were going to take legal action or some such thing. It was all very strange. I'm afraid I could never recommend Dr. Lewis to anyone. read more
