But Tea was a challenge…read more She lacked confidence and reacted to every stimulus to the point of being over-stimulated and unpredictable around people and animals. We feared it was just a matter of time before something bad happened. Walking her was work. For her and for us. She wasn't enjoying herself and was always on edge. People told us "oh, it's just the breed" or "she'll grow out of it". But at three years old, we saw no change. Louis has been nothing short of amazing! Tea is excited to see him. She gets excited when it's time to train. She's more confident and is respecting our lead. Louis has been working with both my husband and me. In one lesson, we had her performing heel and walking on the leash calmly, looking to us for cues. In two lessons, we had down follow the leader. I can open the front door wide and tell her to "wait" until I'm ready to go. And in lesson three we began sit & stay. It is incredible to see how quickly he is changing our behavior as master and Tea's decision-making to follow our lead. Louis does all this in a whisper of a voice. He teaches you to be calm so your dog follows you. We have more to do to get her trained. But we can already say, if you're thinking of becoming a dog owner or if you are one and you find yourself repeating commands or raising your voice, you MUST reach out to Louis. The less stress in our lives the better. Our furry companions deserve no less!

Since the kennel is next to their house, someone is always available to take care of the pets. Plus, it's a pretty small place, which means each pet gets special attention. The prices are VERY reasonable as well. MUCH better experience then other kennels in the area (even the ones we like!). When we picked up the dogs, we forgot to grab their blanket, and Bill washed it and brought it to our house the next day! Now THAT is amazing service. We will definitely be back.

They must let the dogs run around quite a bit, which is great - because every time I pick up my pup from them she is worn out! they also play relaxing music in the little pup cottage and the lighting is very relaxing (not sure if the dogs care or not) and Bill actually gave me a tip for dogs that maybe don't eat their food when they're in a new place - he recommends putting a little chicken broth in their dry food and that always works for my dog who tends to not eat her food when she's in a new environment. Highly recommend - great folks who really care for the animals that are brought to them.

I have a 4 day work conference in October and needed to do a dry run with my 11 month old pittie. After ***passing*** his 30 minute temperament test (a requirement before they will board your baby), I left him for that weekend while I was home, our first time apart. I was neurotic, he was having a blast. The team sent me videos of him playing the next morning and my heart was warm again. A huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Most importantly, I trust these people. You can't put a price on that. All the staff there are exceptional and care about every one of their pups. Their facility is well laid out, organized and clean. The play yard is also conducive to safety and playtime for my pup. I'll be doing a day care package so he gets socialized. They do it all. Super place and I'm glad I found it.

Did my homework on boarders and this one came highly recommended. They require a temperament test (which is good!), and my dog passed with flying colors. When I picked him up, he was happy, tired, and -- best of all -- didn't stink... which isn't always the case after being around a bunch of dogs for a few nights! Very, very reasonable prices. This place will be my go-to, and I'll probably get my dog groomed here next time he needs a cut too!

I am absolutely furious about the experience I had with The Ritz Pawton and regret trusting them…read morewith my dog. I brought my Cockapoo in with clear instructions and multiple reference photos showing exactly what I wanted. Instead of following those instructions, they shaved her down without my consent leaving her completely shaved with a poodle type head and a lions tail. At no point did anyone call or text me to ask permission, even though they later claimed "matting" as an excuse. Any competent, professional groomer knows you ASK the owner first before making a drastic decision like that. They did not. The haircut itself is awful -- uneven, careless, and nothing remotely close to the photos I provided. My dog looked embarrassed and stressed when I picked her up, and I was honestly shocked at how bad the job was. What made this even worse was the groomer's attitude when I confronted her. She was rude, dismissive, and showed zero accountability or concern. No apology. No explanation. No attempt to make it right. Just pure indifference. This place clearly does not respect their clients, their instructions, or their pets. If you care about your dog, do not come here -- because they will do whatever they want without asking and then act like it's your problem.

He had to wear a cone for 10 days with ointment also so his cuts did not get infected. Upon picking up my dog I was not informed of any of his cuts. When I got home he would not stop licking his belly so I then saw the cuts. I notified and sent pictures to the owner which in turn throughout the whole process made excuses and blamed my dog for sitting too much. The owner, Fallon, explained to me my dog was just a puppy and would soon learn how to stand more for longer periods of times. He sat down multiple times and they allowed him to sit bare belly on an unprotected guardless clipper blade. When I asked why he was not in a harness she explained that another groomer was using the only harness they had. My dog was tired from standing is what it sounds like to me. I was given countless excuses the entire time I questioned why this happened to my dog. My dog being a puppy is still and prob never will be comfortable with going to a groomer. I give him Trazodone now when I take him to our new groomer because his anxiety is so bad. Praying this review helps to save another sweet fur baby from being hurt like mine was and still is
