I have a 4 day work conference in October and needed to do a dry run with my 11 month old pittie. After ***passing*** his 30 minute temperament test (a requirement before they will board your baby), I left him for that weekend while I was home, our first time apart. I was neurotic, he was having a blast. The team sent me videos of him playing the next morning and my heart was warm again. A huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Most importantly, I trust these people. You can't put a price on that. All the staff there are exceptional and care about every one of their pups. Their facility is well laid out, organized and clean. The play yard is also conducive to safety and playtime for my pup. I'll be doing a day care package so he gets socialized. They do it all. I'm relatively new to town and had to go away for a few nights for the first time without my gregarious 70 lb. Bernedoodle. Did my homework on boarders and this one came highly recommended. They require a temperament test (which is good!), and my dog passed with flying colors. When I picked him up, he was happy, tired, and -- best of all -- didn't stink... which isn't always the case after being around a bunch of dogs for a few nights! Very, very reasonable prices. We took our cat here to get groomed with a lion cut. Our cat is extremely fussy. Michelle called us and she said she was unable to groom her and profusely apologized and recommended a vet (Highland Animal Hospital) that could sedate her and groom her for $80. She was only able to shave one strip down her back. So until then our cat looks like she has mange. They also did not charge us since they couldn't complete grooming. But hey that's the chance you take with cats. I'd definitely bring my dog here, who is less fussy. read more

I have never taken my nine year old dog to doggie day care and used to chuckle to myself and never think I'd find a need for it. Fast forward nine years, marriage, deployments and a second dog and guess who is considering doggie day care for their six month old pup? Yep, that would be me. The pup deserves all the attention in the world and is sweet (I know, I know... all dog parents think their dog is awesome) but hear me out. With me working ten hours a day and my husband gone, I had to consider it for our pup, Elly, and after Michelle did such a great job with her cut, it was the only place I even considered taking her for doggie day care. This place is a dream come true. I've been searching for a upscale groomer and Michelle is all that and a bag of chips. From the moment my baby came through the door she was greeted with love and affection. She was so relax and so was I, I knew they would take care of my girl. If you are taking your dog anywhere else, then you've already messed up. Michelle LOVES these animals and is always so wonderful. She calls and checks in, gives updates, really listens to what look you're going for. I can only imagine that she goes out of her way to correct something wrong, but I wouldn't know because she always gets it right with my Shih Tzu. We seriously love bringing our dog here and feel lucky to have such a great spot. I was looking for a grooming place that could bathe my dog today. A Pet's life was the only place in town that wasn't booked. When I came to bring my very rambunctious 7 month old lab to get a bath, he jumped out of the car & ran. I called A Pet's Life & someone came out & helped me get ranger!! She took hold of his leash & got him inside. She was extremely nice & didn't mind at all that ranger was being overly excited. She gave me a tour of where ranger would be. Very clean place. She called me when he was ready & he smelled amazing. I can't wait to go back! Ranger really seemed to love it there. She also texted me a picture of my baby when he was done with his bath!! My dog Ryker who is a black lab loves this place, and that is saying a lot because he has anxiety when he leaves us. He actually runs inside to see the women who work here! They are wonderful! Michelle the owner is the sweetest women I've met in Georgia. I had them give Ryker a bath... he smelled so good and his coat was so shiny for close to a month! He enjoys playing with the other dogs. Mainly labs. When I pick him up he's so happy and excited, as well as ready to take a nap because of having fun with the other dogs. Totally recommend this wonderful place! Staff very friendly the were very transparent in letting me view the kennels. They tried different treats with my dog but it's my dog he was very nervous and my dog couldn't handle it. We also at times have need to refer our clients to another facility but have hesitated to unless we know about the quality of care that they will receive.
