I replaced my roof with Good Guy Roofing, and I was very surprised that they sent me a link to review them, once everything was completed. My experience with them was not pleasant.
Devin came out, great price, knowledgeable and I was excited to get started and working with them. They were very good on keeping me informed on what was happening and everything seemed to be going smoothly.
Unfortunately, once the roof was installed the leaks started. First a small leak TWO days after the roof was installed, it started in the kitchen, which they came and "repaired." Two days later a huge rainstorm and that same leak became a downfall onto my kitchen floor, along with an additional leak in my bedroom. Again, very apologetic, sent someone out immediately, another excuse as to why it happened, but claimed it was fixed.
Two days after that, it rained again, four additional leaks began. So after the "new," roof, I got six leaks that I never had before. Granted, I just paid almost $34K for a new roof and it hasn't been a full week since it was completed/installed. Again, they sent someone out, claimed they had no clue why or where the leak was coming from but according to them, it was fixed. They blamed the a/c and the pipes, none of those things are in the area where the leaks were.
My old roof was 25 years old, and I had maybe three leaks in that time period. Within days of Good Guys replacing my roof, I had six leaks in four days.
Employees are very nice but at the end of the day you're buying a product and if that product you're buying is giving you problems immediately upon completion, the company is doing something wrong. I was very disappointed and still cringe when it rains, I am not confident in the work that was done. This isn't normal and I advise you to make sure to do your homework, get referrals from people who have worked with companies that provide a service or product you're looking for because on paper, Good Guy Roofing is an A+ company to work with. Fooled me, hope to spare you from any headaches. read more
