You can see the "self" level they used wasn't even done correctly

Leaving a one star review but have to reword my honest review because the owners of this establishment asked me too. They also told me that if I didn't they would say I did not have permits for our house garage to be turned in to another living area, mind you it was already converted when we bought the home so I'm not sure how I'm suppose to have a permit for it. Okay so the projected done in 2021 was great when it came to the carpet in the rooms, the new paint job and the new kitchen remodeling. All that was great. Also thank you for teaching us how to get more money from our insurance to cover all the work you guys did. But we were not satisfied with the floors in the house. We were initially told that they knew how to level the transition from the kitchen in to the old garage/livingroom. That in fact was not correct. I also understand that this is the one and only thing you guys continue to mention to me, that it's "not leveled correctly" because whoever remodeled the house BEFORE we bought it did a bad job at it. I understand that the insurance did not want to give yall more money to replace what's under the floors so you guys tried to level it with self leveling. Which did not work. But before the project finish, in August 24 2021 I did send pictures of the floor asking to fix the lifting. The project finished in September 2021, I reached back out on May 4th about the floors again, someone was sent to nail it down and the employee that is no longer part of this company did say they would fix it, this was said on May 4th. Someone was suppose to come out to fix it May 12th but nobody came to fix it. I however did not follow up and continue to request for the floor to be fixed because I trusted them to do it and I had a lot going on already. Nobody ever reached back out. Fast forward to now three years later and now that the warranty is expired (even tho I did request for it to be fixed while it was still under warranty two times) that the floors are completely lifted I'm being told by different flooring experts that the floor was installed wrong that they were not spaced apart enough. I reached out back to southern home to let them know and they got defense right away. They can not take constructive criticism at all. As a matter of fact I was threaten to change my review because of potential loss of revenue. At the end of the day and after over an hour on the phone we came to no conclusion. They won't admit to fault and I have the right to right a review of my experience. I'm sorry you don't like my opinion but we did pay over 40k for our house to be fixed. Yall did an amazing job everywhere else just not the flooring.

Extremely disappointed with Five Star Bath Solutions of Arlington…read more My experience with Five Star Bath Solutions has gone from being very positive to extremely frustrating. When we initially had our bathroom remodeled, everything seemed great. We were happy with the finished product and had no complaints about the installation. Unfortunately, about four months after the remodel, we started noticing mold growing in and underneath the caulk along the entire bottom perimeter of the shower, where the walls meet the shower base. This is especially concerning because this is a brand-new bathroom installation. The caulk is still firmly attached, yet mold is appearing underneath and throughout the bottom seam. At the very least, I expect Five Star to come out, inspect the installation, determine what is causing the problem, and properly correct it. The worst part of this experience has been the complete lack of customer service after the sale. I have called the Arlington location multiple times asking for someone to come out and inspect the issue under the warranty. I have not been given an appointment or even received a meaningful response. I also contacted the company's national customer-service/sales line, only to be told that all they could do was send another message to the Arlington office. I then sent a formal written warranty request by email, and I still received no response. That is unacceptable. Five Star advertises a lifetime warranty and emphasizes that its warranty is locally serviced. When you spend a significant amount of money on a professionally installed bathroom, you shouldn't have to repeatedly call, email, and chase the company down just to get someone to acknowledge a problem only four months after installation. I am extremely disappointed--not necessarily because something went wrong, because problems can happen with any installation, but because Five Star has shown virtually no urgency or accountability in addressing the problem. I sincerely hope someone eventually takes responsibility and comes out to inspect and properly resolve this. If they do, I will gladly update this review to reflect how the situation was handled. For now, however, I cannot recommend Five Star Bath Solutions of Arlington based on my experience with their post-installation warranty service and customer support.
