We were especially struggling with his leash behavior. He learned to "heel" and no longer drags us on walks. He also generally is doing a better/faster job of calming down when we need it while maintaining his playful puppy behavior. The Dog Knowledge team has been great with their follow up including a recent follow up training session in our home. We would strongly recommend The Dog Knowledge to others seeking dog training.

I can't say enough good things about Off Leash K9 Training! Our trainer, Lindsey, was incredibly…read moreknowledgeable and made the entire process fun and engaging for both me and my pup, Ashe. Ashe at 6 months of age can be a bit of a handful , but Lindsey took the time to understand his behavior and tailored the training to his needs. After just two weeks, we noticed Ashe's confidence soar. Ashe is now much better behaved at the park, and he's responding wonderfully to commands like "sit," "place," "heel," and "come." This is the second dog I put through Off Leash K9 Training, and they truly help build trust between you and your pup. It allows you to take your pup into the world and enjoy life rather than sitting at home alone. I also love how Lindsey emphasizes the importance of consistency and makes sure we're practicing the right way at home. I feel so much more confident as a dog owner, and Ashe seems happier too! I highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training of Charlotte to anyone looking to strengthen the bond with their dog and improve both their quality of life and behavior!

At pick up, she did a great job explaining everything to us, guiding us on how to follow through at home, and loving on Shadow one last time. You could tell he was sad to leave her. Claire was so encouraging and loving towards him. Shadow's been home less than a week and because of Claire, he is behaving so much better. He's been able to off leash and not jump on people he's greeting. Thank you so much Claire and Off Leash K9 Charlotte!

In addition, she had been traumatized by an unfortunate encounter with an invisible fence that was set too high. Drew resolved these issues in short order and we moved on to more advanced training, which was the real fun! Drew's affinity for her personality, along with his expertise in dog training, has made life in our home much more enjoyable and Lila is now a true delight! Our puppy "Zeke" is a sweet dog who gets lots and lots of love. What we didn't know before we met…read moreRebecca with Love in the Lead, was that Zeke was suffering from a significant case of separation anxiety, and that we were feeding into the issue. We were referred to Rebecca from a friend and after speaking with her on the phone, we decided to spend the money, and do the 3 week board and train class for Zeke. This has been the absolute best decision we have ever made for Zeke. Prior to Zeke going to Love in the Lead, he would pace back and forth, would not go into his crate and be calm - (or sleep), he would whine and cry if "Dad" went somewhere - even if "Mom" was still with him (making it very difficult to do anything). After Zeke went through Love in the Lead's Board and train program, he has made huge improvements. He sleeps in his crate at night and actually loves it, he can be walked off leash, has a solid recall, and is just an all around more confident and obedient dog. Thank you so much Mrs. Rebecca!!
