Taylor B. Most rescues do have a rule of young children and animal adoptions, this is for the safety of the children and the animals. We all know that children can get a little bit more lovey and squeezy and also get mad and throw a tantrum that can and does sometimes include throwing tows or hitting things. These child like gestures can instantly change your loving animal into the great protector of you, and he/she might do something no one wants that animal to do, bite. With that said, this does not hinder our adoptions, we have quite a few animals due to the many rescues and owner surrenders we take in on a regular basis, just like many other rescues. Our first concern is for that of the animals we rescue, love, care for, and treat for any ailments they might have upon intake. We are sorry it did not work out for you and your family, but our fur baby family will always be our main priority. Thank you and good luck in your search for a fmaily pet. read more
