It is so fresh and tasty. The key lime butter had a great flavor. It is different and I would order it again. The slight twang of the key lime is so refreshing. The bang bang sauce is ok. It is a little spicy. I will use it but would not order this again. They sell lots of seafood and are located on Front Street in Key West.

It was my first time there and I ended up feeling dumb for my questions or not understanding what she was asking (I'm hard of hearing and couldn't quite hear her). Would go back though!

I looked around online for awhile hoping to find a place in Key West to ship them to Philly as an Xmas surprise. Lo and behold, I found Key West Shellfish Co. I read the glowing review on here and checked out the website. The prices seemed reasonable compared to other sites, and when I emailed them with some questions, they responded right away and were extremely friendly and helpful. So I placed an order to be shipped Wed, 12/30, thinking I'd surprise the old man on New Years's. Markham McGill was kind enough to not only email me when they went out, but advised me they'd arrive 12/31, so they'd be at their freshest. Oh, they were fresh alright. And damn tasty. Got the Key West Pinks too - very tasty as well. We had all the proper condiments, key lime mustard, butter, spicy cocktail sauce - barely used them. These were best nekkid... We sat in the floor with a box of wine and some mallets, and went to town. Good stuff - we will be ordering again!

You go around the corner to the bar area to order any drinks. We found a spot outside at a picnic table by the marina to eat. The food is fresh but overpriced. The lobster roll was good but had more roll than lobster. The lobster chowder was better than the lobster bisque I had at a different restaurant but still not as good as what I make at home. I tried the famous lobster Rueben. It was toasted perfectly on rye. It was fine but I think the sauerkraut over powers the lobster when the lobster needs to be the star of the sandwich. The beating I had here was probably the coconut shrimp with mango sauce. It was perfection. Deliciously crispy and the mango chutney was perfect with it. After we finished eating we went into the seafood market to check out their fresh seafood selection and grabbed a pie of key lime pie to go which comes in a little tart tin. It was really good flavored and the crust was obviously homemade. Not your typical graham cracker crust which was a nice change.

Once I unburied the fish it was tasty & fresh but not much of it. My husband enjoyed his shrimp scampi but it was seemed to be lacking something. Unfortunately, the service does not measure up to the type of restaurant they portray themselves to be. The server was not particularly friendly nor attentive.
