Before the lecture, they had some of their music students perform light classical music... impressive. They evidently have a well-regarded music program here. Tonight, attended an excellent classical performance (violin and piano), The Complete Sonatas by Robert Schumann (1810-1856). They did a fantastic job. The campus is beautiful, well-maintained, and highly organized. The student body is incredibly multicultural, creating opportunities to meet people from all over the world. The athletics and Campus Recreation programs are excellent, student involvement is encouraged, and there are many hands-on learning opportunities outside the classroom. The dining options were also consistently one of the stronger aspects of campus life. I also had wonderful experiences in the theater department, and several professors in the College of Business were truly outstanding mentors who challenged and supported their students. Unfortunately, these strengths were overshadowed by issues that became more apparent over time. The cost of attendance is extremely high, and in my opinion, the overall academic experience does not consistently justify the price. Many campus buildings and classrooms felt dated, and the quality of instruction varied dramatically between departments. As a current classroom teacher, I can confidently say that I learned sound pedagogy from only a handful of professors. Expectations differed significantly from one instructor to another, making it difficult to understand what constituted quality work. Assignment instructions were often unclear, and many rubrics lacked student-friendly language, specific criteria, or transparent expectations. The inconsistency in instruction and assessment made the educational experience feel fragmented rather than cohesive. I also found that internships--an important part of preparing for a career--were difficult to maintain because of lengthy class schedules and limited flexibility. While the university promotes experiential learning, the structure did not always support students who were trying to gain professional experience while completing their coursework. Beyond academics, campus culture sometimes felt disconnected. There was a noticeable lack of unity among students, and many students from middle-class backgrounds felt out of place in an environment that often catered to a much wealthier demographic. At times, it also seemed that outside interests had a stronger influence on university priorities than the day-to-day student experience. Lynn University operates like a well-oiled machine from an organizational standpoint, but the people within it often felt disconnected from a shared mission. The staff, faculty, and student experience sometimes seemed assembled without a unified vision, resulting in inconsistent expectations and a lack of direction. In my experience, this contributed to lower student satisfaction and likely played a role in student retention challenges alongside the high cost of tuition. Overall, Lynn University offers valuable opportunities, an attractive campus, and some exceptional faculty members. However, the inconsistency in academic quality, high tuition, and disconnected campus culture make it difficult for me to recommend it without reservation. There is a strong foundation, but significant improvements are needed for the university's educational experience to consistently match its reputation and cost.

It is professionally stimulating to be working with teachers who also have many years of experience here in the US and abroad. I am submitting this complaint to formally document egregious misconduct, deliberate humiliation,…read moreand abusive behavior by administrative staff at the Pearson VUE testing center in Boynton Beach on the date of my 2044 licensing exam. What occurred was not a matter of rudeness or poor customer service. It was intentional degradation carried out by a testing administrator in a position of authority, and it represents a serious failure of professionalism, ethics, and oversight. From the moment I arrived, the administrative staff exhibited hostility, indifference, and contempt. There was no attempt to maintain a neutral or respectful testing environment. The atmosphere was cold, dismissive, and openly adversarial -- entirely inappropriate for a professional licensing facility. The most disturbing and unacceptable conduct occurred at the conclusion of my exam. The testing administrator forcefully slammed my exam result face-down on the counter and then laughed. This was not nervous laughter, misunderstanding, or misinterpretation. It was mocking, deliberate, and degrading. The action was performed in a manner that made clear the administrator found my distress and outcome amusing. This conduct constitutes abuse of authority. A testing administrator is entrusted with safeguarding fairness, neutrality, and psychological safety during a high-stakes licensing process. Instead, I was subjected to humiliation by someone who clearly felt empowered to demean a candidate without consequence. Licensing exams directly affect employment, income, and livelihood. For staff to mock a test-taker at the moment results are delivered is cruel, unethical, and indefensible. It raises serious concerns about the culture, training, and supervision at this location -- and whether similar treatment has been inflicted on other candidates. This incident warrants immediate internal escalation, including: * Identification of the testing administrator involved * Review of surveillance footage and front-desk camera audio * Examination of prior complaints at this location * Mandatory retraining or disciplinary action * Written acknowledgment of corrective measures taken If Pearson VUE allows staff to demean candidates without accountability, then the integrity of the testing process itself is compromised. This behavior exposes the organization to reputational, regulatory, and legal risk. I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and handled at the corporate compliance level, not dismissed or minimized. I request written confirmation that this matter is under formal review. No individual seeking licensure should ever be subjected to humiliation by the very institution tasked with administering professional examinations. What occurred at the Boynton Beach location was unacceptable, and it must be addressed.
