I recently moved to the area and needed to find a dry cleaner. I found Ar-Pat's Dry Cleaners which…read morewas convenient to my home. So I dropped off 12 shirts to be dry cleaned hoping that they would do a good job and they would become my new cleaners. I picked up my shirts with no comment from the person working the counter. I placed the shirts in my closet and it was some time before I started to use them. As I started to take the shirts out of the plastic bags, I noticed that one of the shirts had a paper tag on the hanger which apologized for not being able to remove the stain on my shirt without possibly ruining it. I inspected the shirt and found a long yellowish stain just below the shirts front pocket. I looked at the other shirts that I had brought in and another one had a similar tag. The other shirt had a large round yellow stain in the front of the shirt towards the bottom. It would've been understandable had I brought the shirts in with these yellow stains. I would have mentioned to the cleaners that there were stains on the shirts that needed to be pre-treated. All of the shirts that I brought in had no stains on them when I dropped them off to be dry cleaned. Since the tag said that they tried their best to remove the stands, I figured I had no way to have the shirts redone to see if they could try to remove the stains. So I am giving them a bad review for a couple of reasons. The first being that they didn't even mention to me when I picked up my shirts that there were stains they couldn't remove and I would've discussed it with them, and secondly since I didn't have shirts with stains on them originally, I can't trust their dry cleaning. I will now have to find a different cleaners.

I'm a long-time customer, and the decline here has been gradual but undeniable. Over the past…read moreseveral months, orders have taken longer, items have gone missing, and I've been asked more than once to return because staff couldn't locate my clothes. The operation no longer feels tight or reliable. Pricing has become the bigger problem. Same drop-off, same order, four basic shirts. Three were priced normally. One -- an ordinary school-style blouse -- was more than double the cost. No special fabric, no special handling. The explanation given was that it cost more because it was a "girl shirt." That's not a reasonable or transparent pricing policy. Add undisclosed environmental fees and multi-day turnaround times, and the experience starts to feel like a moving target rather than a service. Prices continue to rise, but communication and reliability continue to fall. This place used to earn repeat business on consistency. I'd welcome a clear explanation from management about pricing standards and why customers aren't told about added fees upfront.

And the shirts were just large, not more than 2x. And I didn't curse at you, although you deserve it. So in addition to being a CROOK, you're also a LIAR! Please work on it. There's a reason why this CROOK has so many negative reviews. Hmm.

I've used Westside Cleaners a handful of times over the years, mostly out of convenience--but…read moreunfortunately, I've never been consistently satisfied with the results. One of the more frustrating experiences was when they returned one of my husband's shirts literally half shrunk. I know that sounds strange, but one side of the shirt was visibly shorter than the other--and it absolutely was not like that when we brought it in. We followed up multiple times asking for an explanation and never received any real response or resolution. Another time, I brought in a white women's blazer with a small red wine stain. Before even attempting anything, I was immediately told they wouldn't be able to get it out. I asked them to try anyway. When I got it back, not only was the wine stain still there, but there were additional spots that hadn't been cleaned either--and I was still charged. Out of curiosity, I went home, put a little hydrogen peroxide on the wine spot, and it came out instantly. I then brought the blazer to another dry cleaner, and they were able to remove the remaining stains without an issue. It honestly made me question whether my jacket had even been cleaned at all. At one point, I inquired about their delivery service and was met with a pretty rude response--basically told that unless we used dry cleaning weekly, they wouldn't consider us. That was surprising, especially since we do use dry cleaning regularly--we just choose to go elsewhere because of past experiences. They said they'd follow up and send a driver with a bag...that never happened. Most recently, I brought in a bundle of clothes, including very small toddler items. I made a point to mention that some pieces were for young children. When I picked everything up, I was charged the same price for a toddler suit as an adult suit. When I asked about it, I was told they don't differentiate pricing for kids. That didn't sit right--there's a big difference between cleaning a tiny toddler outfit and a full adult suit. At that point, it honestly felt like I could have bought new clothes for the same price. After multiple experiences like this, I had to ask myself how many chances to give. For me, this was the last one.
