I asked what is this for and they say "oh we did a debridement". There argument was "Well how are we supposed to know what your insurance covers", you don't I do!!!!!!!! Oh! And trust me they argued with me for 20 minutes, I was amazed how rude and right they thought they where, like oh where a dentist office your not going to tell us what you want we tell you!!! I don't doubt that I maybe I need one but inform me that you added that, maybe I would have wanted to do that later. Don't just do something that i didn't ask for.....say this is seperate from a cleaning. Just rude and disrespectful, tired of these types of business, just upselling there service.

I'm not going to buy something without knowing how much it costs, so I would ALWAYS ask the front desk about my insurance and my co-pays, etc. In this way dentistry is a purchase and it needs to be treated as such. Dr. Perry's office staff is very, very knowledgeable and works well with insurance and provides plans to make dentistry affordable for me. I recommend Dr. Perry for his skill, his great office staff, his attention to detail and his patient care. I never feel rushed. I always feel empowered to ask questions. I have never had a problem with the services rendered and I've never had a problem with my billing. Going to the dentist is never fun but Meridian Dental makes it as pleasant as possible and provides a lot of education.

It was recommended I make an appointment to get a crown (all this was new to me as the only issue I've ever had was a couple of cavities as a kid). The hygienist gave me a goodie bag of toothpaste and sent me on my way - without a cleaning. I asked why I wasn't getting a cleaning and she said she ran out of time and they would schedule a cleaning for me AFTER I get a crown. An annual cleaning (much needed due to covid) was being held hostage until I had a crown put in. I shared how unhappy I was with them and never went back. Thanks to Abington, I now get pretty anxious when I have to go to the dentist. Thanks for that. Response to the note left by manager: Wow! The fact that you cannot find me as a patient is not surprising as poorly as this office is run. And yes, I live in MA, and I have left the right review for the right place (although it did take some effort since there is more than one location). I made my displeasure with the situation very clear both in person after the visit and over the phone when they tried to schedule a follow-up appt.
