*UPDATE* The complete story is in the reviews below. My daughter was seen at Advanced Dental over…read morethe summer. She had a very minor cavity on an upper tooth and a more serious issue on a lower tooth. The dentist who worked on her tooth decided to work on the easier issue on the top and did not work on the more serious issue with the lower tooth at all. Shortly afterward that dentist was no longer employed by Advanced Dental. However, instead of notifying us about the situation, no warning was given and no one from Advanced Dental let us know that from that point forward they would no longer be willing or able to treat our daughter. Instead, they waited until my wife took time off from work to bring our daughter in for her next appointment and when she arrived, she was told that our daughter wouldn't be seen because they no longer had a pediatric dentist. So, apparently something that could have been avoided with a 10 second phone call turned into my wife missing a half day of work and my daughter getting no dental work done. In the meantime our daughter's tooth began to get worse and Advanced Dental refused to complete the work they originally promised would be done. We tried to find other dentists but no one could see her at all or immediately, including the so called referrals that we received from Advanced Dental. Eventually, we found a dentist in Stoughton called Children's Dental Health Center and they could see her relatively quickly, but by the time she was seen her tooth had decayed so badly that she was almost in need of a root canal. She lived in pain for weeks. Thankfully, her tooth was saved but it was extremely close. As you can see, since then all we've been told by Advanced Dental is how they did nothing wrong and how they did all they could. Laughable. But, in response I would suggest that if a business of any nature starts a project and is then incapable or unwilling to finish it, at the very least they should inform or possibly warn the customer in advance. Obviously, a child suffering is extremely serious, but I would even hope that a roofer would let me know that they couldn't finish my roof before the next rain storm. I would hope that a mechanic would let me know that they couldn't finish fixing my transmission prior to me coming to pick up my car on the day I was scheduled to leave for a cross country road trip. But, I guess that kind of common decency was, in my opinion, lost on whoever is running Advanced Dental. It seems like the only word their staff knows in NO. Obviously, I'm only one voice but it seems like there are plenty of other unhappy people who have used this company. I couldn't recommend any more strongly to be weary of this dentist and try as hard as you can to find another dental organization that will hopefully not just abandon you or your child mid-project. And like I already mentioned, my wife and I were patients at Advanced Dental for over ten years and our children have been going there since they were born. In my opinion, I have no other word to describe this situation other than outrageous!

Coming to Stetson Dental Care, however, was the best thing I could have done. I decided to finally come here after some prodding from my parents to finally get some work done on my teeth. I'm not talking about just a filling or two, but major dental work over a number of weeks. After sitting down and having my financial options explained to me in the most easy to understand terms, I was told that they would do everything to make it as cost effective relative to my health and dental longevity as they could, and I'm completely under the impression that they're doing that, and then some. My biggest fear is the Novocaine, and pre-dental prep. Needles have never worked well with me, and with someone who has always had awful experiences, I can't believe I waited so long to come to this place. Dr. Khadivi is an amazingly skilled dentist, and his support nurses are just as great. He talked me through everything he was going to do, and proceeded in a way that nobody else had ever done before. My worries flew out the window, and when I came back the next week, any sign of my fear had gone completely out the window. A couple of my friends have asked why I've been feeling better about myself lately, and I can very positively, and absolutely say that it's because I've been going here to get dental care that I've so desperately needed, and recommend it wholeheartedly.

She was belligerent, rude, kept cutting me off and acted like I was bothering her. If you don't know the answers and can't be civil, find someone in the office who can. It reflects poorly on the business. I went elsewhere, and they scheduled me the next day and were welcoming upon arrival. They more than met expectations, as a business should that relies on customers!

The front desk staff is so friendly and welcoming right when you walk in. I worked primarily with Sandy who was quick to get back to me with scheduling and really worked with me to figure out an affordable payment plan through my insurance for the dental worked I needed done.
