I had a panic attack not long after we set out and wanted to turn around or wait there for the group to pick me up on the way back but Rob took the time to talk me off the ledge telling me I could do it! He started near the back with me and helped me the whole way while still giving the others a great experience! I have gone out many times since and have even Kayaked down the Colorado river! I LOVE kayaking Now and couldn't wait until this year to get out there which we did yesterday!!! None of that would have been possible without this company and its wonderful owner who had more faith in me than I had in myself!! But I do now! I recommend this company to Everyone!

Seeking to ease her into a passion for paddling , I sought out a group experience on calm waters. Safe was the operative word. I saw a social media posting for a guided tour of the Connetquot charging a small fee for dropping in your own vessel. They run this tour weekend days. Until November. There was a group of about 17, some with their own kayaks or SUPs, others rented from the business. Rob provided great direction, was informative , and a genial host. Lisa and I probably had time during the 2 hours to have small conversations with everyone in the group. The canals and river were so easy to navigate, scenic, tranquil, even with some light powerboat traffic. Not an abundance of wildlife but we had a great close encounter with a great blue heron. We are probably comfortable doing this without guidance now, but might choose to join up again for the group experience! Check it out while the weather is fine and the waters are warm! P.S. - I fell out of the boat before we even launched. Looked the fool in front of all but that just started the day off with laughter.

This summer we had more than one family reunion with multiple adults and children of ages ranging from 3 years to 19 years old. Simply witnessing Eric's red kayaks out on the water is such a joyful experience but his and his staff member's skills make this an adventure not to be missed! They are very knowledgable and organized and afford their guests exposure to marine wildlife and the natural world that can't be missed! Eric has a truly unique personality and a gift for engaging people of all ages in the special beauty of the waterways to which we have access.
