Our condo association hired these guys to repair spauling damage to our complex. Our unit had…read morespauling issues in the outside concrete walls. One area is framed (not concrete) and a previous stucco patch was loose so the workers poured concrete in the stud wall encapsulating the plumbing. That was my first clue these workers (young kids) don't really know what they are doing. He also did a very poor job making our stucco pattern with his patches. I have had several people comment on how it looks like something their child could have done better with. They also sit around smoking for the first 30 minutes of each day before they get started working. There was spauling damage in each room but the guys missed one area. I discovered it the day before the guys were finishing up and asked them to repair it. Not sure how they could have missed it since the weeds were growing up between the concrete and stucco. The owner came out to look at it and basically accused me of lying about the electrical outlet in the area of the damage not working. He begrudgingly sent his worker back to tear open the wall, which revealed rusted conduit that needed to be repaired. Once we had the electrical repaired we asked them to come complete the wall repair. They said they just started a new job so they couldn't come for 2 more months, which was surprising since it was a small job that could have been done in less than a day and they do have multiple crews. After waiting the 2 months with a hole in our livingroom wall they said they had just started another job and couldn't do it for awhile longer. Then one day they said they were available right now, so I literally dropped what I was doing and ran home. The worker came and opened the hole even more and got it ready to pour concrete the next day. I asked him if they would be parging the area around the hole where it had crumbled so the wall would be an even surface again? He said he would be back the next day to pour the hole. The next day they didn't show up. Instead the owner informed our property management company that they would not be completing our job since I was wanting them to do more work (fill in the wall so it was even). This left us with a huge hole in our living room wall for several more months until I found Hawaii Masonry to finish the job. I'm sure Tamarock had already been paid for the whole job by then so he obviously didn't care to finish the job. The other day another contractor, who is familiar with the history of our complex, pointed out where Tamarock had previously made spauling repairs and there is now new damage only after about 6 years. He flat out told us the owner is a crook. Currently Tamarock is working on another building in our complex and Hawaii Masonry is tiling our lanai. The Hawaii Masonry's worker tells me the Tamarock worker was bad mouthing us to him and that he told him he hasn't had a problem with us. Now Tamarock is working above our unit and the owner approached me like nothing had happened. I informed him of all our grievances with him and his workers but he choose to make excuses and blame our property manager and us . No apology. In my experience their customer service, craftsmanship and integrity are highly lacking. Save yourself a lot of grief hire another company.

The new Terrazo finish was absolutely gorgeous and even better than what I expected. They showed up to work on time, was always courteous, reliable and professional, not to mention neat and tidy. They moved plants out of the way along the driveway and put everything back when their work was done. They always cleaned up at the end of the day when they were done working. I must say Bailey is very particular about his work and will make sure it's done right and that the owner is happy with the finished product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tamarock Masonry. Kawika replaced the electronic motherboard on the electric gate opener. He submitted several estimates for different upper driveway gates, although his prices were quite a bit higher than another installer who replaced the gate. He was prompt and polite always, and the gate opener functioned properly for several months after repair before failing. He returned and fixed the problem, but the gate opener stopped working again. He also offered to try to repair or replace the magnetic sensor that had stopped working earlier in the year. My wife called and texted him several times over the next month to ask him to check on the opener and the sensor, but he never replied. DF

They told me i needed to redo all the nails/screws on both the roof of my house and carport or the next high winds would blow the whole thing off. I am a senior citizen living alone so i felt like i had no choice but to trust them. They completed the job and the next day the roof began to leak (a Friday) during a rain and they refused to come out until the following week. By the time they arrived i had damage to my roof, my lanai and the closet in my bedroom. They denied all responsibility and refused to help after many dollars were paid to them. I looked around for help and determined they had caused a leak in my solar water heater. The solar hot water heater was repaired by the appropriate company, the one that installed it for the previous owner of my home. They confirmed that Barrett caused the problem and Barrett still denied responsibility and guess what? My lanai still leaks during heavy rains today hundreds of dollars later, but at least it's rain water not hot water from the solar water heater. So no, i don't recommend them.
