I found them to be thorough and very helpful in soothing my anxiety of painting the interior of my 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that was recently renovated. I was also pleased that they paint by hand and do not use a spray gun. Chris was kind and flexible and took the time to adjust his quote because I added some stuff that I forgot to ask him to do on his walk through. He was patient and kind with me in selecting the colors for one of my bedrooms, the kitchen and an accent wall/bookcase in my master bedroom and matching existing baseboards. His dad is a carpenter and they both took the time to fix things that needed to be fixed like my kitchen door to the garage. They repaired the ceilings around my ceiling fans in my living room and master bedroom and painted and repaired loose taping. They also painted and installed all molding on my newly installed laminate floors throughout my home. These men are gems as they even moved furniture and stuff so they could paint. I did not have to clear my home out or move it myself for this paint project. They also painted my front porch and stairs that had not been repainted since 1971! The best quality of workmanship that they have in my opinion is that they see the value in my old home. One of my doors to the front porch was the original door of this home and had some termite damage and they found a way to fix it even after cracking the glass! They also saved the two sides of the entry from my hall to kitchen because it had all my grandchildren's height chart every time they visited! :-) As you see, my review is quite lengthy but I cannot say enough on the excellent quality of workmanship and how these men are kind, gentle souls and the best part is they live about 2 miles from me! :-) Another giant plus is I got the better part of the deal in hiring them as my cost for this project probably would have been much, much higher than what I paid Went2work! He…read morechanged the scope of the project, taking it out of budget without a change order nor speaking with me. The work which hadn't been discussed in advance, included removing the roof on my existing structure which he damaged in the process, leaving exposed holes and screws sticking straight down into the house with no contact with the wood. He added a roof to the new lanai he built- quoted me new materials, but gave me mostly used which he also did not match the color of what was existing, leaving me with a patchwork look on the roof, With the used material on the new construction, he left holes visible and did not finish putting the ridge cap on. He lost my top of the line paint and later returned a lesser quality and wrong color, 5 gallon bucket that was so old the brand was discontinued. He used a spray painter and made a mess and painted things I didn't ask to be painted. He stated in my contract that he would paint lumber before installation, but only partially spray painted after installed. The deck and stairs were also built without a railing. He had originally quoted and included in my signed contract, stainless steel cable railings which he described as top of the line, but later complained they were too expensive. I agreed he could leave them out, but was disappointed that i would have no railings and would never have agreed to the high price of a small deck and walkway, had some of the items he upsold me not been included. When i voiced My concerns about how things had turned out and also not been finished, after he already cashed my checks, he completely gas-lighted me and never returned to finish.

Coming from a decorated military background and as a fellow business owner in the construction industry for a couple of decades we knew what we were looking for in terms of excavation work and more or less the requirements to complete the project. Treavor's initial meeting over the phone by way of good referral was clear as he was able to meet our services requested. He walked the land which we brush cut a good section of as he said he would at the time we arranged and gave me a fair quote. On the morning of "kick-off" Treavor pulled up and backed his tractor-trailer into a standard, but narrow driveway with his excavator and hammer loaded with ease. Our realtor / friend showed up to take photos for about an hour and she was amazed at how well he handled his excavator and effortlessly carved out what we planned. I was busy flying the drone every so often throughout the day in between admin stuff, resetting security cameras and running errands nearby; and each time it appeared that Treavor was further along than what we envisioned. Great work. I'm sure that some parcels are more difficult than others, but it seams clear that Taylor Built Construction would have the capacity to work around, work within, and work safely with whatever obstacles the land is yielding. Good work, or excellent work, in a reasonable time frame, and at a fair price. Taylor Built Construction provided us with quality work that is worth every penny spent and completed above the services we requested. Mahalo. The bee activity started in 2023 and the creatures returned. About 4 inches of wood had to be filled in as well as all of the tunnels. The outcome looks great. Padget also gave me tips on how to do some of the repairs that were easy fixes. I didn't expect him to use a drone to inspect the roof and higher areas under the roof also.
