First, the good: the place is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. The service is good, and everyone was sweet and courteous. My friend and I had planned a little foot massage day, and this place was convenient, so we decided to give it a try. For me, a foot massage means exactly that - a FOOT massage. Something relaxing and comforting, especially for people who walk a lot or are on their feet all day. Your heels, arches, and the front of your feet are the areas that really need that nice pressure and attention. That's kind of the whole point. Unfortunately, the description of the foot massage was very different from what I actually received. And just for context, I'm definitely not new to massages. I've had foot massages in many different cities and countries throughout my travels, so I have a pretty good idea of what a foot massage is supposed to feel like. This was NOT a foot massage. I feel bad saying that because my masseuse was a very sweet lady, but she spent almost the entire time intensely pressing and poking my legs with her fingers. It genuinely hurt. I asked her to go easier, but I don't think she understood what I meant. She seemed to think I wanted less pressure overall, when really I was trying to explain that her fingers were literally poking the heck out of my leg bones. Meanwhile, my actual feet were barely touched. My heels? Not once. It was mostly constant rubbing and finger pressure on my legs, which was honestly the opposite of what I came in for. Unfortunately, it felt like a waste of money for me. I also didn't feel guilty about not tipping because my experience was genuinely uncomfortable and not at all what was advertised. I actually feel bad leaving this review because everyone was nice, and everything else about the place was great. I'm leaving this mainly as feedback for the business. Either the description of the service needs to be more accurate, or the massage therapists need to be trained so the service actually matches what's being advertised. After this experience, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable trying their other services because now I'd be wondering whether those descriptions match the actual service either. Really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, this one was a no for me. Sorry, but no thank you.

After my massage I felt weird about it so I decided to look behind the mirror and it was a window with a bunch of stickers on it. I was still half undressed and someone opened the room door as I was looking behind the mirror. The door was opened 2 times while I was changing. Staff should not be coming into a room that a customer is changing in! Behind this mirror/window is the masseuse break room... I feel uncomfortable about this. I really do not know if they can see in the room or they just covered up this window gap and there is no ill intention. But the fact I don't know makes me feel strange. Once I walked to the front desk, a few people from the break room came out and -they didn't go into the room the other person from my party was in- they kept going into the room I was in and then turning to look at me. It could be coincidence but it left me feeling weird. Was I not supposed to look behind that?? If you are having customers undress it is really really weird to have a mirror/window leading to the break room... And also no one should be coming in after the service is completed and a customer is still undressed. I hope someone can clear this up because I do not feel comfortable returning as of now.

Dr. Drake and Lizzie are awesome. The front desk staff are all awesome as well. I unfortunately do not know their names. They are always kind, patient, and professional. I always feel amazing after my adjustments with Dr. Drake. I have discovered that I am definitely a CRACK-O- HOLIC. I just love the cracking sounds he conjures out of my body. It's magical and addicting. I suffered from chronic back and sciatic pain for YEARS. I thought this was normal and something that everyone dealt with on a daily basis. Once I started seeing Dr. Drake I immediately saw relief and felt amazing. Living without pain was a foreign idea to me but I love it and I am grateful for Dr. Drake for helping me achieve this. I think I have been seeing South OC Chiropractic for about 9 months. My whole backside from ankles to neck & shoulders was messed up....uneven hips from jogging. So, one leg was longer than the other. And then I had a super tight back from years sitting at my computer for 30 years. Now my second favorite day of the week is Friday. That's the day of my chiro appointment. My favorite day of the week is Saturday...that's because I get the full effect of my visit. For the past 5 or 6 weeks, I think I have lost 20 years of my life...that means in 3 weeks, I will be one year old & will be having my second birthday. I think I'll need a ride to my chiro appointment. They're fast...I never wait longer than 3 or 4 minutes for my appointment, even when I am early & they always listen to my needs and address them & keep me away from pulling muscles. Lately, I have left my appointments so relaxed that I have been close to a danger on the road. If I could have given more stars, I would have. read more

I had a leg length discrepancy of an inch and a quarter for many years while I was still growing. This caused my spine to become twisted and misaligned in seemingly irreversible ways even after correcting the leg length discrepancy. I never walked or stood much because it was too uncomfortable and felt damaging. I have just started seeing Dr. Hamilton and even after a minor introductory adjustment I already feel better. I was actually out walking around in a canyon for the first time in months after I saw him, and went shopping in an outdoor mall, things I never felt I was able to do comfortably before. My treatment with Dr. Hamilton has been nothing short of a miracle. I was in a severe motorcycle accident that left me suffering from constant pain and headaches. After several months of trying different medications I didn't see any progress and the headaches continued to worsen. This office runs a special on yelp and Groupon, but they try and sell you more and they are pushy about it. I wasn't happy with the with trying to get an appointment quickly and when I finally got one I was waiting for over 20 minutes. I believe that if you have a discount t you're treated like that. Once you decline all the treatment packages they are trying to get you sold on, then they want nothing to do with you. I've have back and neck issues for many years, and have no insurance. Dr Hamilton is Great! I walked into his office with terrible low back pain and walked out pain free for the first time in months. From day one, Dr. Yoon and his staff have been nothing but professional, kind, and respectful. I worked primarily with Dr. Yoon and Jessica, and they were both fantastic throughout my treatment. They always took the time to answer my questions, explain what we were doing, and made every visit a positive experience. The treatment has definitely helped with my pain, and interestingly enough, I even feel a little "taller," which I'm guessing is from improvements in my posture.
