We all know shoulder injuries are complex because of all the muscles in the shoulders but he almost knew immediately what the issue was and made me laugh through the most painful parts (which was really minimal if I'm being honest). He also did an overall check and found that my back is also not in mint condition as I can see by one of my legs being shorter than the other. The way that he explained and showed what was going on and what he's trying to do made me feel so comfortable for my first adjustment. And about that massage... well the massage was DEEP - this is not your relaxing spa day but it is healing! Another thing I value about this office, aside from it being SUPER clean, is that they do not push you to spend your money. Yes, you have to pay for your treatment but there is no pressure to come more than you want to even if the Doctor recommends more. Dr. Drake and Lizzie are awesome. The front desk staff are all awesome as well. I unfortunately do not know their names. They are always kind, patient, and professional. I always feel amazing after my adjustments with Dr. Drake. I have discovered that I am definitely a CRACK-O- HOLIC. I just love the cracking sounds he conjures out of my body. It's magical and addicting. I suffered from chronic back and sciatic pain for YEARS. I thought this was normal and something that everyone dealt with on a daily basis. Once I started seeing Dr. Drake I immediately saw relief and felt amazing. Living without pain was a foreign idea to me but I love it and I am grateful for Dr. Drake for helping me achieve this. I think I have been seeing South OC Chiropractic for about 9 months. My whole backside from ankles to neck & shoulders was messed up....uneven hips from jogging. So, one leg was longer than the other. And then I had a super tight back from years sitting at my computer for 30 years. Now my second favorite day of the week is Friday. That's the day of my chiro appointment. My favorite day of the week is Saturday...that's because I get the full effect of my visit. For the past 5 or 6 weeks, I think I have lost 20 years of my life...that means in 3 weeks, I will be one year old & will be having my second birthday. I think I'll need a ride to my chiro appointment. They're fast...I never wait longer than 3 or 4 minutes for my appointment, even when I am early & they always listen to my needs and address them & keep me away from pulling muscles. Lately, I have left my appointments so relaxed that I have been close to a danger on the road. If I could have given more stars, I would have. read more

I had a leg length discrepancy of an inch and a quarter for many years while I was still growing. This caused my spine to become twisted and misaligned in seemingly irreversible ways even after correcting the leg length discrepancy. I never walked or stood much because it was too uncomfortable and felt damaging. I have just started seeing Dr. Hamilton and even after a minor introductory adjustment I already feel better. I was actually out walking around in a canyon for the first time in months after I saw him, and went shopping in an outdoor mall, things I never felt I was able to do comfortably before. My treatment with Dr. Hamilton has been nothing short of a miracle. I was in a severe motorcycle accident that left me suffering from constant pain and headaches. After several months of trying different medications I didn't see any progress and the headaches continued to worsen. This office runs a special on yelp and Groupon, but they try and sell you more and they are pushy about it. I wasn't happy with the with trying to get an appointment quickly and when I finally got one I was waiting for over 20 minutes. I believe that if you have a discount t you're treated like that. Once you decline all the treatment packages they are trying to get you sold on, then they want nothing to do with you. I've have back and neck issues for many years, and have no insurance. Recently I developed shoulder plate, biceps, and triceps pain. I use my hands for my every day life activity since I am Wheelchair bounded. You can tell they care about their clients and take time to personalize each session. I left feeling much more relaxed and noticed real relief in my neck, shoulders and back after just a couple of visits. That said, they're pretty busy. My response is explaining his defensive need to falsely accuse someone of something illegal. Which is defamation. Th original review is after. My Response to Josh: I figured that Josh would feel the need to protect himself. The only way Josh could defend himself was to lie about his non- compliance to his contract terms and condition. What he says is definitely defamation. I have been and always will be very careful to not accuse anyone of anything that I am not fully aware of and I have confirmed my position. I don't want anything to come back to haunt me simply because it is not true. The Contractor that contracts the providers, such as Josh, is how I learned of Josh's non- compliance of his contractual obligations, or possibly it could be his plain ignorance of the terms and conditions of his contract. His opinion of the Contractor, I quote "is they ( the Contractor) are "crap." He has also verbalized and written other complaints about this Contractor. He definitely has issues with the Contractor. Aside from a problem that may have existed, Josh refused to service my medical issue, which is against his contractual obligation. Which he was obligated to take care per his contract. Do you want to take a chance with this provider when there are others. I'm not sure if it is acceptable with YELP but if someone needs to call me for details call me at 949-966-2027. The Review Current reviews look too good to be true for Josh, the only at this office. And notice the reviews are outdated. I am not sure, but perhaps there is a way to delete the negative reviews. I don't know because this is the first time I ever reviewed in YELP. I am a 72 year old man who has never wrote a complaint before. I hope my need to write this review is not taken lightly. I felt a need to inform others. Josh does seem OK with skills. But his lack of responsibility and caring has cause me to suffer because he did not follow the terms of his insurers contract. He could have helped and is contracted to provide the help and care that was needed. This is true, even when it very well could have been Josh's fault that a problem or need exists. He shows no desire to help. His "cold" persona became evident. I suffered for 2 weeks because of something that Josh should have taken care of but didn't. I had to follow up on my own and found that there were more than one part of his provider contract that he did chose to not comply with, because he did not want to comply. He did not follow the terms of an insurers contract, so I suffered. His non compliance was confirmed by the insurer. I expect that most of you will assume Im just a complainer or being vengeful. I am not. Look, do your self a favor, and regardless of the very few reviews here, there are many other acupuncturists in the OC area, choose a different provider. Josh may be skilled, but why choose an important provider for your needs that will not take care of you when you really need the care. And is above following all the terms of his contract or did not care to know the terms of his contract.
