I've been to a lot of physical therapy and Andrew is hands down the best. I've been with him for years and he's helped me with all the issues that come with being a dentist - herniated disc, hand pain, headaches, neck and shoulder tension. Most importantly, he's kept my spirits up and encouraged me while rehabbing my injuries. I feel healthier and stronger than I have in years and I owe a huge part of that to Andrew! I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone. read more

After discovering Andrew two years ago, I feel better than I have in years! He's a truly gifted practitioner--my best find since I moved to Orange County. Even though I'm young-ish, I'd been dealing with chronic pain from an old car accident, migraines, and severe TMJ for years. I'd tried doctors, physical therapy, cupping, acupuncture, and all kinds of treatments with minimal results. From my very first session with Andrew, I knew he was different. His deep knowledge, skill, and almost magical intuition mean he can get right to the root of what's causing my pain--even sometimes sensing a migraine coming on before I do! After several sessions, he managed to release old scar tissue and deeply embedded knots, giving me back a range of movement and relief I hadn't felt in years. The Graston Method is a game-changer in Andrew's approach. Using specialized metal tools, he works to break down scar tissue and fascia that's been holding tension and causing pain in my body. This technique has freed up areas I thought were forever stuck, providing lasting relief in a way that nothing else ever has. Andrew's talent in combining Graston with deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other methods is truly magical; he targets pain at its source, not just the symptoms. Every session is tailored to what my body needs, and he's always making sure I'm comfortable and at ease. His kindness and calming presence make each visit feel like both effective therapy and a true chance to relax. The space is spotless, welcoming, and feels like a peaceful retreat. I always leave feeling more refreshed, mobile, and pain-free than when I walked in. If you're dealing with chronic pain or need targeted relief, I highly recommend Andrew. His rates are very reasonable for the expertise and personalized care he provides--worth every cent. Just don't forget to drink lots of water after your session--it'll help flush out the junk, and besides, your body's going to be thanking you for days. read more

I just had my first treatment with Andrew and was very impressed and happy with both the assessment and treatment I received as well as our communication. During our subjective he was patient and thorough. His anatomy knowledge, assessment and palpation skills were excellent and his soft tissue work was effective. As a manual physical therapist myself I appreciate a fellow therapist that possesses both the art of caring and science of healing. The art of caring represents the human-centered, compassionate side of therapy. This involves listening to patients, understanding individual needs, and providing personalized treatment with a supportive and empathetic "human touch". The science of healing refers to the evidence-based practices and deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics that therapists use to treat patients. Andrew demonstrated these qualities and helped me with severe trigger points that have been causing me sleep disturbances for the last 2 months. I will definitely be referring my patients to him in addition to myself. read more

I had been dealing with a dull pain in my right shoulder blade for the past 2 and half years, especially sleeping on my right side. It's an uncomfortable feeling when your fingers would go numb. I decided to go to a chiropractor, not 1 but 3 different chiropractors. One was a monthly subscription and the other 2 was a charge per visit with many follow-up sessions where I spent approximately over $3,000+ for these visits. One doctor even told me that it would take 6-8 sessions for it to completely go away, while the other said it would take 4-6 weeks. Two and a half years later, I asked why hasn't my issue gotten any better, the doctors response was, "I'm not a massage therapist, I'm a bone doctor." WTF?!? Why didn't you tell me this is a muscle/nerve issue from the beginning?! After stumbling onto trigger point 4 months ago, it took several weeks to get an appointment in. Finally my day arrives, after explaining my discomfort to Andrew he got to work on it right away. After that evening I felt something different that I hadn't felt in quite some time, relief. The numbness in the finger tips subsided, including the annoying dull pain coming from my right shoulder blade. After 2 and a half years later I realize that it should've only taken 1 hour or so to relieve this pain. I can now sleep on my right side! The pain subsided 95% since May, I came back here recently to get my 5%! Now I know why his calendar is always booked. Andrew is not your typical Spa massage therapist, he is a a well seasoned specialist with the gift of healing with his hands It would be worth the wait, I would highly recommend Andrew, if all else fails, Andrew will prevail! read more

When they mentioned trigger point and structural integration I knew they would know exactly how to tackle the root of my pain. I've been on a search for body work for a loooooong time and finding Nim is life changing. If you experience body aches from sports, injuries from decades ago, working out, or sleeping wrong and literally have a pain in the neck -- Nim is a magic worker. Trigger Point Massage OC - Tools of the trade - Massage Therapy Near Me - Laguna Niguel, California

Andrew is incredibly professional, and most importantly, effective! I sought him out after an injury from a fall that resulted in pain and tension all over my back and neck. His bodywork was more effective than the PT prescribed by my primary care physician. Whether or not you have a specific injury or issue, perhaps just regular tension from our stressful lives and sedentary postures, Andrew will help you out. read more

Andrew is very professional and skilled! After my first visit I already feel less tension and am looking forward to continuing

Andrew is a great massage therapist and has really helped me. I had been playing a sport for 1-1/2 years, about 2 to 3 hours per day, 3 to 4 days per week. Eventually I developed extreme pain in my elbow and forearm, and had to stop playing. Physical therapy was helpful, but after 3 months my progress was slow and when I started playing again the pain and injury came back. I heard about Andrew and Trigger Point Massage OC. After 4 sessions I have started playing again, with minimal pain and great flexibility in my arm again. The results have been fantastic. The sessions are intense, but Andrew also is sensitive to how you are reacting so as not to do too much at any one time. He focuses not just on the injured area but also on other related areas that were reacting to the injury. Based on those results, I have decided to start working with Andrew for lower back problems I have had for nearly 40 years, and already can see results. read more

After seeing Andrew, I feel better than I have in years! A truly gifted practitioner. I'm a young person, but chronic joint pain (neck/shoulders, plantar fasciitis) had bothered me for years. I'd been to doctors and physical therapy with minimal results. From my first session with Andrew, I knew I was in good hands. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and talented. I took us several sessions, but after working through my old knots and scar tissue I was able to get moving again. Scheduling with him was really easy, and at every session, I could tell that he was really listening to me and adjusting his approach to give me the best possible treatment. Other people have mentioned this as well, but his ability to find exactly where the problem is -- even when I couldn't! -- was really impressive. The space is clean, Andrew's demeanor is professional and down to earth, his knowledge and skill is out of this world, and if you have any questions, he is realistic and honest. The quality of his services are well worth his (quite reasonable!) rates. I recommend anyone with chronic pain to book a session with Andrew. read more

I have been dealing with sport injury pain for about 3 weeks before I found Andrew on yelp so I decided to try trigger point massage. I have done regular massage before but that didn't seem to help my problem much. I have to say that trigger point isn't the most relaxing massage. In fact it can be a bit painful depending on how tight your body is. But I felt that I had a lot of knots on the body that are much less tense now. After 2 sessions with Andrew, I feel so much better. Not sure if it's just a coincidence or not but I have been sleeping better too. I'm definitely planning to continue trigger point massage to maintain my body because I train a couple times a week so I want to make sure I keep my body in good shape and prevent injury again. read more

Andrew is a very skilled, knowledgeable, and professional massage therapist. I was dealing with hand/arm injuries from overuse at the computer and poor ergonomics. Andrew was able to pinpoint that the root cause was in my neck and worked on my neck and upper body. He also uses the Graston technique. I am doing so much better now and on my second package with him. I highly recommend him! read more

Samantha is wonderful! I've gone to many chiropractors over the years and have tried just about everything to fix my chronic back/shoulder tension which hinders my breathing and athletic ability--Trigger Point Massage introduced me to a new form of therapy which noticeably improved my symptoms after the first session, and now 6 sessions later I am back to my normal life. Samantha does a good job at explaining how your muscles function, and teaches you how to train/stretch at home to further correct problem areas. I would recommend anyone to try at least one session. read more

My husband and I were both hit by a car and had varying painful injuries. We have suffered lots of different ailments and had many procedures. I have had lower body pain (super tight hamstrings , gluts, calf muscles) for 2 weeks. I thought it was from an IT band issue. I stretched, rollered, soaked in epsom salt baths and went to restorative yoga. I was walking like the Tin Man. I have tried the chain massage places but I really needed a deep tissue massage. I found Andrew on Yelp and lucked out with a same day appointment. Andrew was amazing. This massage style is not for anyone looking for a relaxing massage - you will be relaxed at the end but while Andrew is finding and releasing knots - it is that feel good pain. He checked to make sure the pressure was not too much. He also figured out that all the muscle tightness due to my right knee and recommended I go to my doctor to get it checked out. Andrew was forthright and said this massage is going to help but you need to see a doctor and get some physical therapy. I am writing this the day after my massage and I am walking with very little muscle tightness. Andrew's trigger point, deep tissue massage is the best I have ever had. I would give Andrew 10 stars if I could. read more

Amazing massage therapist. He solved my issues every time and with usually just one session.

I've been to many therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and osteopaths and Andrew/Trigger Point is definitely a top provider. Andrew is very professional, clean, punctual, knowledgeable, and right to the point. He provided immediate relief and covered/exposed trouble areas that I wasn't even aware of. He employed the Graston technique (or Gua Sha, which I've only experienced while in Asia) ) to help break down scar tissue and he's also the only provider that I'm aware of to use active massaging (e.g. stretching/moving while massaging) which I found to provide a deeper and broader range of relief. I was so pleased with Andrew that I purchased multiple appointments on just my first visit and scheduled a second appointment the next day! read more

Andrew is incredible at his craft!! I could NOT move my right arm, my elbow was stuck at a certain angle and I couldn't extend it. Then the pain traveled up into my shoulder AND down into my wrist and thumb! I was immobilized and in extreme pain! I saw 4 regular doctors who all said, You have tennis elbow and you'll have to wait it out. Or we can give you a cortisone shot which MIGHT help." Cortisone shots are very damaging to your tendons and ligaments so that was a big NO! Then I just started researching what's a natural treatment for tennis elbow... and voila!! Trigger Point Therapy came up. I am soooo glad I found Andrew! After 1 treatment I was able to extend my arm fully with hardly any pain. I did return to him 4 more times because whatever had ahold of me would creep back up and kick my butt. I went weekly for 5 weeks. I now have full rotation and extension and NO PAIN!!! I WILL be returning to get a few other spots taken care of and I highly recommend Andrew's services! read more

Nim was amazing and knew my body right off the bat. Will be gifting sessions to my parents and will be going back.

Andrew is fantastic. I am 50 and have been Crossfitting for 8 years. Over the years I have built up scar tissue in many different muscles of my body. This scar tissue was reducing my circulation and creating sciatic nerve pain. After three hours of work with Andrew I much better. My sciatic nerve pain, which was very intense, is almost gone. My circulation has increased and I feel more flexible. This type of treatment would help anyone with chronic pain. Too many people resort to surgery instead of options like trigger point therapy.
