I understand things happen however I had been having her do my hair for almost three years and requested several times that she not switch products which she did that day and has admitted to in messages. She rescheduled me for a Saturday three days later but then cancelled on me last minute to fix it saying she had a family obligation. I was nice and said that was fine. I offered to pay for the correct products myself for her to keep in stock since I have gone very frequently over the years. Then she did not even contact me again for 4 more days to return to get it fixed and then her offer was late in the afternoon on a Wednesday asking me to come in the next morning (a Thursday at 9 am) when I clearly had to be working. She offered no other correction appointment only messaged to ask for a curling iron I had borrowed which I did return and I smiled and was nice to everyone there but she was with a customer so I could not talk to her. I then requested that she return my payment or fix it and she then finally said ok she would fix it if I paid the difference between the amount I paid and fixing my roots (which really would be the same i would think because to fix this she would have had to bleach again right?). I said okay that is fine what times do you have Monday.... The she made up some excuse about me being disrespectful of covid when I was the only person in the establishment wearing a mask, which made no sense. THEN she changed her mind and said no you're rude I refuse to refund you or fix it. Who wouldnt be upset walking out and left like this for WEEKS after paying someone over $3000 in 2 years ? Plus awesome tips every time except this one when I left with marigold orange roots. I have recommended this place to so many people but I was unaware that if things did not go well then Erin would just write off her customers, which is what it feels like. It truly seems that she just did not want to eat the cost of fixing my hair a third time.

All of them are equally talented, excellent with color, and up on trends and styles. These folks truly take the time to understand your hair, how it grows, your goals, and they listen carefully. I'd love to have hair like Jake Gyllenhall but unfortunately I'd need more product than I have hair left since my hair is bone straight and fine. Plus, if you stick with them, they will see how your hair tolerates color and how it wears and also how your hair grows and offer advice on how to get a look and offer a quick product tutorial. Remember to ask questions if you aren't feeling like you're getting answers. Communication is two way and critical in this process. Kim, who answers the phones most of the time, manages the inventory, schedules, and is the gatekeeper for all things Aveda is truly fantastic. I love these folks, they are as much family to me as my own. I am comfortable asking questions and advice about how to style my hair or create a new look. The nice thing about it too is that they will collaborate together as a team and also offer you feedback. It's a great team! You need to feel secure in your choices and have realistic expectations. You will also love that your color formula is stored in the Aveda system so if you happen to be in NYC or Miami or Los Angeles, it is accessible! Love this! Atmosphere and vibe here is very relaxed. I read some other posts and don't know a thing about brow waxing, but will ask about it as one poster commented the person doing the work was rude and smacked their gum. Yuck, that's not professional. I think the person now doing it, I met once as her client was leaving. She is super nice and interested in the client she was working on. The client was happy when she was chatting with Kim and her. But, I love the aesthetic of this place. I can't remember if it was an old gas station or convenience store, but the building has a rich Lexington history. The interior is painted a nice gray and it has great lighting in both natural and overhead. It is also well ventilated. Products aren't overwhelming your senses. The chairs are quite fancy and comfortable. I also like how the spaces are set up. It allows me to have conversation with other clients or folks working that day. All their towels and capes are great, which is a sign to me that they care about their customer experience and quality. They take the time to keep things clean, brushes and combs, clippers and scissors are always in perfect condition. They also touch things up a few times a year with paint or anything needing fixed. I hate seeing dirty vents in ceilings and they keep theirs clean! I'm just saying these things because I look at stuff like this to help me measure how invested they are at running their business. I lived in Louisville for many years and went to Z Salon & Spa and later William Deans in the highlands. Bill cut my hair at William Deans, and Zenda at Z. They are among the best and on the same level as the team at Rejuvenation Station Salon & Spa. In my experience with the team here, I always have fantastic results. Go and make the leap, you will not regret it. Plus, you'll make so many new Lexington connections having coffee or tea. It is hard to get booked with them. But, once you make an appointment, if they have an earlier opening, they might call to check to see if you want it. It's such a great culture there and so many fascinating backgrounds and interesting caring, kind, nonjudgmental folks. Chelsea! Nearly forgot to mention her! Apologies to the folks at the salon I might have missed. I've also never used the spa services. I know they offer facials and massage. If you've used it, follow up with a review. I can ask as well, I never thought about it! Wishing you the best experience and hope you can follow up with a review whether good or bad as well.

If you're not familiar with a spray tan, here is the skinny: You go into a secluded room, get undressed or wear a bathing suit. If you wear a bathing suit, do be sure to wear a dark one, or one that wthe spray won't stain. There is also a special kind of lotion to put on your hands and feet, or any other areas that you don't want the spray to adhere to. Then you wait for the lady walk in a spray you down. It's pretty quick and simple. To make the "tan" last longer, exfoliate your skin well the morning before your spray. Also, if the first spray doesn't look dark enough, tell them to spray another coat, I usually ask for an extra layer on my legs. I've had spray tans at a few other places and they have been orangish in color, not here. The tone has been perfectly tan each time.

When the stylist called me to confirm the appointment, she requested several times that I pay fully in cash, which just seemed a little weird and it was off-putting that she was so pushy about that. 2. I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment, was told it would start 5 minutes late, then it actually started 20 minutes late. 3. The stylist seemed very rushed and was kind of cold. The only time she talked to me other than giving me instructions was to badmouth another employee (which she spent several minutes doing). Although the haircut was good, I doubt I'll return due to how unprofessional the stylist was.

I've been looking for a "home salon" since I moved to Lex 5 years ago and have tried a lot of the high end places and they have been fine... but not as magical as where I went in Louisville. This place had a ton of pros: -inviting -quick appointment availability -my name was on a chalkboard which was a nice touch -lots of discounts a new client there -THE SCALP MASSAGE (it may have been one of the best I've ever had. I seriously would come back for this alone. Only con: -I'm used to stylist educating me on what they are doing and why. My haircut was good but somewhat traditional. She did what I asked for but didn't ask for feedback before she started drying. The place was poppin and I'm definitely going to take the offer up to do a color treatment my next visit (I already scheduled) I'm not sure if I'll be a loyalist to this place but I'm glad I gave it a try.

This is one of two nail salons that surround the Beaumont Center Kroger. The other one, Elite…read moreNails, comes highly rated and recommended on Yelp. I found myself in the area and in need of SNS. Elite was closed on Sundays, so I reverted to Perfect Nails without researching Yelp first. BIG MISTAKE! The chairs were peather office chairs and all of them were peeling and old. Not a great first impression when I sat down, but there were no kids in sight and I was going in with an open mind. The staff on a Sunday consisted of four men and one lady. I've actually came to the conclusion that I've been more satisfied with male nail techs than ladies, so that was a pleasant surprise. I signed in and was seated right away to get SNS white French tips. The soaking process was the most tedious that I've ever experienced. He filed, soaked, filed, soaked FOUR times. I'm not joking when I say, it took about 30 minutes for the removal process. It wasn't your normal acetone and foil removal process. Again, I was still open minded. I was thinking that he didn't want the acetone to hit my nails, so he was trying to lightly file them. Despite the time that it took, I actually thought that was a good process. Next came the shaping. Without asking or observing that the nails that he took off were square shaped, he shaped my nails round. I didn't notice until the first hand, so needless to say, the correction to square took a lot of length off. Then the dipping started. He asked if I wanted the small or big. There was a huge language barrier, so I pointed where the white should start... at what was left of my nail tip. Nope. He dipped half of my now short nails half way into the white powder. Imagine it... you couldn't even see my nail growth from the view from my finger tips and now half of each of my entire nail was white. Yeah, weird. Then some were crooked. One of the white edges reached all the way to my cuticle on one side. He tried to fix them by filing and adding more pink powder. By the end of it, I had white all over the pink part of my nails and the lines where the white and pink meet were ombre. No, I wasn't striving for ombre. My husband was called into work and had already waited about an hour and a half, so he cut out. Not a big deal, I catch Lyfts and Ubers all of the time. But knowing that the ride would be $20 on top of the hideous $35 nail job, just didn't sit right with me. The manager came over to me while I was sitting at the dryer and said something about bubbles and that was the reason for the white powder in what should be the pink part of my nails. I explained that I've gotten SNS French countless times that they never turn out like that. He quickly said that he wouldn't charge me. This is the only reason for two stars. Honestly, he wasn't rude about it. He obviously saw my nails and knew that they were not right... hideous. The worst set of SNS nails I've ever gotten. Perfect Nails, they are not!
