Management and staff are very courteous and sincere. Pricing was on par with other businesses in the industry. I bought the $140 package (medium) and yet I felt like they could have spent a little more time on the truck. 2 hours was the wait on my vehicle and yet the wheels could have been given a bit more attention and though I paid for a FULL detail on the interior - there is still a LOT of dirt (accumulated) on the dashboard and passenger side -- clearly no brush used on this at all. Had the wheels (obvious!) been hit harder with a rag and the interior received the care it still needs, then this would be a 5 star review. If the company needs to change anything - don't over book your clients and under attend the vehicle. This will lower your quality scoring every time. read more

Every window besides the passenger, either had jagged edges, flare ups, fingers, and bubbles of various sides. The back window made me laugh, they didn't even finish! Living Social Deal.... Had the whole talk track of come early etc. made appointment, when showed up 1st thing when they opened and they acted like they were too busy but could squeeze me in. Washed the car and did a poor job vacuuming the inside then got the carpet wet and vacuumed that up but the carpet was not that clean after. Lots of crumbs in seats also, seats not wiped down, vents dirty, none of the rubber was dressed except tires, car was not polished or hand waxed for sure. They did offer to redo vehicle... and waste many more hours of my life driving to and dropping off the car again, being without a car for a day, and dealing with poor service that should have been done as advertised and promised the 1st time. It's much easier and quicker to do the job at home in less than 45 minutes vs. the headache, time investment, day without a car again. read more

I had purchased a Living Social deal for the Ultimate Detail ($59) a few weeks ago. I dropped my car off at approximately 9:00 a.m. and it was ready to go within a few hours. The interior of the car looked brand new after the mats and upholstery were shampooed. The dashboard and other vinyl services were spotless. This review is for car window tinting services only. Dwight (the owner) is very upfront and professional. Prices are very good. They offer both regular tinting and ceramic tints for a higher fee. I paid $180 for all 4 windows including the rear window. He charges $125 for 2 windows plus the rear window. There are plenty of options for the tints with 5% increments. Dwight even included the two small windows near the back at no extra charge...other places wanted 30 dollars each extra for these small windows! No thanks The work came out excellent in the end- no bubbles or signs of carelessness. A few months later I decided that I wanted have the front windshield tinted- Dwight (owner) gave me a greatly discounted deal since I was a previous customer. Overall staff is friendly and work done quickly. If you have time constraints call ahead to make sure they are not too busy. When they are busy I recommend to leave your car here and get a ride. This was the worst detailing I've had done. They said to be there at 8 am. My daughter was there before it opened. They said it would be two hours. She went to the park to wait. When she called at 10:30 they haven't started on it. Also she showed then the ceiling that had something spilled on it. They called us and said they needed the number of the Groupon we were using. We went there at 11:40. They said it would be another hour. She called at 2:30, they said it had been done. When she got there they were wiping it down. It's still dirty. . They didn't shampoo the seats. Didn't touch the ceiling. I went back today to show the manger. I put my finger under the second seat and showed him dirt. He told some young guy to fix it. Did not apologized. He went back in the shop. The guy wanted to know if I wanted it done now. I said I had to go back to work. He got smart with me. After 7 1/2 hours they hadn't cleared it yesterday. I told him to shove it. I won't be back. BEWARE OF THIS DETAILING SHOP. read more

I recieved a Living Social coupon as a gift. Made an appointment to take my car in to be detailed a month in advance for Friday, July 17 at 4pm. I asked if I could leave my car there after closing so I would not have to leave work early. They told me that was not possible because they had no way to secure the car and no key drop-off. I called in the morning of July 17 to confirm my appointment. My appointment was confirmed with the employee on the phone. I arranged to leave work early and have a friend pick me up after dropping my car. We arrived at 3:57pm on Friday, July 17 and the business was closed and the door was locked. I asked the person working at a different business next door and they told me the employees of Gravois Detail Clinic had left. I tried calling with no answer. After I had left work early and made arrangements to have a friend pick me up, I was very upset. I then arranged to have someone else pick me up on Saturday, July 18 at 7:30am to ensure my car would be detailed that day. I explained to the employee working that I was very un happy that I had to go through all of this trouble and he started yelling at me that I was being "insulted and ingnorant" after I had just explained the problem. I am not a very confrontational person so I apologized and said I realize it was not that particular employees fault. They did do an exellent job detailing my car, but it was not worth all of the trouble and terrible customer service. read more

Living Social refunded by Express Detail package when the owner, Dwight, refused to detail my car. When I scheduled my appointment Dwight told me "the earlier, the better" but he didn't specify a time. So I arrived at noon, about five hours before they close, and I was told -- no problem -- then I was asked where my voucher was, so I handed them my phone -- then after waiting for 30 minutes, I was told I was supposed to bring in my car by 9 and I was supposed to bring a printed voucher. I asked to speak with Dwight to discuss whether he would issue a refund or whether Living Social would. After more waiting, he eventually told me to come into the garage and he said "I didn't do this, Living Social did this, we don't even want members of the public." Maybe if you're a friend of Dwight, you get treated well, but if you're a single woman, a "member of the public," you get treated hostilely, disrespectfully, and unprofessionally. read more

I'll be selling my car soon. Last year my wife bought a Groupon for this detail shop, so I thought I'd go back and see if they offered any other discounts today. Imagine my surprise at all the negative and downright insulting reviews recent customers had. I was VERY satisfied with the way my Yukon looked after they cleaned it up. Not sure if I was "inconvenienced" with my car being there for a longer than promised time, but it was ready when I returned. The people were cordial and I even offered a healthy tip to them. After dropping my vehicle off with extremely friendly employees, I was very disappointed with the outcome of my visit. I purchased a Groupon for the ultimate detail package. We agreed to pay an up charge for pet hair that they kindly lowered from $30 to $20 after looking at my car and saying it wasn't too terrible. They never called to say my car was ready, they just mentioned they closed at 3:30 and it would be done before then so we came at 3:15 to pick up. My husband gave the man the $20, then they showed us the inside and it was still dirty. They seemed apologetic and took it back in and cleaned it for about 15 more minutes. Still not any better. The man told me that since I purchased a Groupon, I get Groupon quality work. I expressed that I purchased an advertised service and that is not what I received. The best! I had a serious window tinting situation. I had illegal tint on my car. I had to get it off! They got me with an hour of my call. A lot of places I called said I could come in a week! Since I was getting pulled over, I needed it off and fast. Dwayne was so funny and he did an amazing job. There wasn't a trace of it left! It was a great price ($80) for the whole car even a piece on the windshield. There's a restaurant next door that you can hang out at if you don't want to wait in the lobby which was crowded (but only because they do good work!) better than an empty lobby. I'm bringing back my other car to get that tint removed and to have it detailed. I'm looking forward to it! Only flaw; the place is packed... I purchased a living social deal for an ultimate detail and it was ultimately bad. First, they told me the car would be ready in 3-6 hrs. So I dropped it off at 9 am. 6 hrs later, they hadn't even started on it! When they finally did have it finished it was shoddy work. My cup holders were still filled with water, there was still dirt and dust along the edges of the dashboard. And to top it all off, they destroyed my emissions sticker in the process of cleaning my car! Now I have to go pay to get a new emissions test! Overall a terrible experience. read more

Awful! I bought two details at the same time. An express for my car and an ultimate for my wife's car. I took my car to them back in March and was not impressed by their work but chalked it up to the express level. I honestly feel I would have gotten a better detail from the a drive up carwash. Six weeks ago I call to schedule a detail for my wife's vehicle and was told the next available appointment was in six weeks (terribly inconvenient to schedule losing your car for a day 6 weeks out). We drop the car off and they let us know that there is an additional $40 charge for dog hair removal (We're up to $109) and my car would be ready for pickup at 5:00pm. My daughter needs to be picked up from daycare at 5:30p so I would be cutting it close but these guys schedule things six weeks out, right?, they should have things in order. No, I wait an additional hour after the promised pick-up time, while listening to their repeated astonishment of how much hair was in the back, only to find that there is still dirt on the exterior, dust on the dash, brake dust on the wheels, streaks of dirt on the interior. If I had an ounce of trust in these guys I would have told them to keep it an extra day and do it right but there's no chance of that happening. Others should save their money and take it to the local gas station carwash. read more

Terrible detailing. Car still dirty when I picked it up. When asked, they said they cleaned certain areas, but was obviously complety untouched. After spending 10 minutes myself vacuuming and wiping down, it looked better than whatever they claim to have cleaned. And when I question them about the service, they tried to put it back on me like it was my fault somehow that they did a bad job. Disgraceful! read more

I bought a living social ultimate detail. made an appointment, dropped my car off at 9am. went to pick it up around 330 only to discover that the clear coat on my driver wheels was ruined. I pointed out the damage to the owner Dwight, who greeted me with extreme hostility, saying that "My shop didnt do nothin to your wheels, You must have used something harsh on them yourself". Then he pointed out that my car was filthy when I dropped it off. No doubt I should have washed it before taking it to the car detail shop to be cleaned. My Mistake Dwight! BTW The car was still quite dirty when I picked it up. The interior was good though. In respnse to Dwights comments, Yes my car was involved in an accident on the right side fender. This has nothing to do with the chemical damage to the wheels clearcoat on the right side of my vehicle. I will be glad to post pictures of the damage to my wheels after Dwight posts pics of the same wheels dirty and damaged. I know for a fact that he cannot as they where not damaged before I dropped off the car. I would also like to say to Dwight that I am a man that has always worked hard for the few things that I own and have NEVER tried to get anything that was not earned by me. As far as I am concerned, any business that refuses to accept responsibility for their mistakes and try to blame the customer instead does not deserve to have customers in the first place. Honor isn't about not making mistakes, its about owning them and standing accountable for them. Pre-owned rims and tire mounting would be appreciated, but civil action will not be avoided. read more

Mr. Williams, after waiting almost 8 hours to get my car back from you, I was anxious to get home. I noticed my outer trim looked milky and dull but chalked it up to the car's age and knew I could easily make that look better myself ("Mothers Back-to-black" trim cleaner works well). But, as I drove home I started noticing all the other problems. I considered turning around but it was now rush-hour traffic and I knew you were closing soon. I tried to call but after several attempts I got through but was put on hold and I gave up after holding about 10-15 minutes. When I got home I had an email from Living Social asking me for a review. I honestly should have started this review two years ago when I originally got my windows tinted. I went and got all four of my rear windows and front windows tinted and then came back for the windshield. I had had a large shake in my car which they spilled all over and then half cleaned up and left it to drip throughout the whole back part of my car down the side of the seat and on the floor and when I called to complain about it, not only were they rude they just said bring it up and we'll clean it when they should have cleaned it up in the first place. Part of it actually stained my seat which I've tried to clean many times since. Now I just went up to the shop again because my windshield has tiny bubbles in it that are noticeable especially when the sun is shining down on them and the main guy (possible owner) said to me that he can't see any bubbles and why would I come back now after two years. I told him there should be a lifetime warranty and he said he saw nothing and that there's nothing they could do. He was rude to me again! After the first time I should have known not to even go back and get my windshield done after they did all four of the others and were careless. This was one of the worst experiences I've had with getting my windows tinted and I've had three cars now with tinted windows and never had an experience like this. Don't waste your time or money. DO NOT GO HERE! Bought the Living Social detail package; took more than 3 calls to schedule (two calls not answered and one call I was told it was over a month before I could make an appointment). When I picked up my SUV after being called and told it was ready (and to be sure I arrived before 2pm because they 'close at 2' - though their hours show until 6pm), I immediately noticed they had not put any of my car mats back in... the detailer went and retrieved the cloth mats and I went on my way. When I looked over the 'detailing' job that evening, noticed visible spots where they hadn't bothered to clean (in the back between the door/where the seat begins and the console on the floor between the front two seats). The outside wash wasn't even that impressive for a 'detail', the back window still had dirt across the very top. The tires weren't polished and the car was definitely waxed. I kept thinking something didn't look right with the inside of my car but couldn't put my finger on it. Two weeks later (yes, I know, my own fault) I saw an old picture of the interior of my car and hello, immediately remembered I HAD rubber floor mats on top of the cloth mats and they had never been put back in the car. The trunk rubber floor mat was there but none of the other four. I called and the owner asked the detailer (interestingly enough, didn't ask for my name or the make/model of my vehicle) and he stated 'oh, I have your cloth mats but he says he put the rubber mats back in the car'. I hardly ever take the time to write a review but I'm hoping to spare at least one person the trouble of this dishonest and completely unprofessional owner/employees and sub-par detail job. read more
