Horrible Experience - Staff Member Actively Intimidating Children We had a terrible experience with this bounce house company at the Tamarack event. An older lady managing the maze was aggressively chasing and screaming at children, scaring them to the point that they were running away in fear. She yelled at kids to leave and go to their parents, creating a hostile and unsafe environment. When my three-year-old was about to exit, she tried to intimidate him as well--completely unaware that I was watching. When I confronted her, she was rude, insulting, and unwilling to have a reasonable discussion. My wife tried to address the issue, and the woman started screaming at her before running to the police. The officers listened to both sides and walked away, clearly seeing she was in the wrong. After that, she sat quietly for the rest of the event, proving she could control herself when under scrutiny. This woman is unstable and should not be anywhere near children. If you value a peaceful experience, avoid this company or demand that the older lady with glasses and pink eyeshadow never work around kids again. read more

Do not use this company. Renter beware. Communication is mediocre at best. They advertise every bounce house/water slide to be available online but when you contact them, they barely had anything available. Finally was able to find a slide we were happy with to only be contacted the day before our rental and said the slide we picked was now "unavailable to use" and offered a different one. We were then contacted and the guy said he wouldn't be able to deliver tonight (the night before our event). So we assumed he would deliver in the morning and when asked what time he'd be here in the morning, he said "it's just going to work out." Now stuck without an option for our event. Completely Unprofessional - Keep Your Kids Away I was at the Tamarac city event and saw something deeply concerning at the bounce house maze. The woman in charge was aggressive and downright hostile toward children. She was chasing kids, yelling at them to leave, and scaring them so badly that some ran off crying. It was disturbing to watch, and I immediately decided to keep my own kids far away. At one point, a mother confronted her after she went after her child, and instead of handling it professionally, the woman became rude and dismissive. Then, shockingly, she started insulting the mother's children right in front of her. It was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. Eventually, she even ran to the police, but they didn't take any action--clearly seeing there was no real case. This woman was completely unhinged and had no business working around kids. The fact that this company allowed her to be in charge of a children's attraction is a huge red flag. I plan to bring this up with the city because no parent should have to worry about their child being treated this way. If you see this company at an event, I strongly recommend keeping your kids away. read more

They sent me a totally different bounce house the day of the part I called them up and texted as the deliver guys were setting up They wouldn't answer the phone for hours the day of the party. the delivery guys said they couldn't do anything . He finally called me mid morning and said oh I can't get any of the owners to answer the phone. The manager finally called me back and said oh I didn't know. We didn't actually even have that bounce house. I'll call the owner and see what he'll do for you but I know we'll get this worked out monday . They won't answer the phones today . I was upset so he he said what do you want me to do I said can you please just send me the bounce house I ordered , he says we don't actually have that bounce . We'll get this worked out on Monday. They'll do something for you fast-forward to Monday. I get no call I call this morning and he says oh the owners will call you this afternoon. They're not in on Monday Mondays they only come in Tuesdays. I asked him why he told me then they will call me on Monday if he already knew they come in on Tuesday . The guy says hey the owners will just give you $150 credit the next time you order something since you gotta clean and sanitize bounce house, we don't see any need to do anything for you. and keeps hanging up the phone on me. essentially, they will only do something for me if I spend more money with them and continue to use somebody who is just not honest with me... South Florida Bounce really got me out of a bind! I had used them for 2 years in a row for our 1st grade End of Year Field Trip. They were amazing, but for this year we decided to go with a cheaper and more local option. The new company we contracted cancelled the bounce houses the day before our field trip at 5pm! I was frantically looking for a new option and thought I would try my hand with South Florida Bounce even though I was thinking it was impossible to get a company to come out with such short notice. I was in tears on the phone when Jack did everything in his power to go above and beyond to make sure my fist graders had an amazing event! 2 Bounce houses and rock climbing for only $100 more than the local company. They more than earned it. Even at the event, the attendants were helping the kids climb and were so friendly with the kids and parents! They didn't just sit there like I've seen with other companies! Upon leaving the picnic, one of my kids said "This was the best Field Trip Ever!" and it truly was, thanks to South Florida Bounce! We will never go with any other company as South Florida Bounce proved that you get what you pay for. The slides are great! This is the 2nd time I've used them but, they forgot the generator that I requested bc the first party it was a pain to get the electric. Anyways, the guys that set up slide and took down were lovely and a pleasure to work with. 30 min before my party a circuit blew so I called the office in a panic to say "this is why I wanted a the generator" and the guy that answers the phone is clearly overwhelmed and aggravated just by the way he answers the phone. He is so short and start screaming at me!? He actually was looking to fight and hung up on me! What a complete failure at customer service! Having just seen a video on Facebook for a Disco Bounce House I called immediately to see if they had this for my birthday party coming up. Believe it or not, they had just gotten it in the day before I called! What luck! I spoke to Matt who offered me a major discount and they allowed me to keep the monster overnight. I was the first person to rent this bounce house and was very pleased with the results. The crew who set it up were very sweet men and offered their expert advice on where to place it on our lawn. Even though one of them stepped in a neighbors dog waste, he still continued his job with a smile! Everyone (all adults) absolutely LOVED having our own private rave where at least 10-15 of us could fit at a time. It was not too hot, and everything worked flawlessly. After all was said and done, they arrived exactly at the time they said they would to pick it up. Hours later I received a call from the company themselves to ask about my experience! Used this company for the very first time for our July 4th party. Rented the Bermuda Falls water slide. Great customer service from the start! Water slide was in great condition and CLEAN!!! I called to rent a WipeOut theme bounce house. They were easy to talk to and professional. I immediately got a confirmation email with my rental information. They called me the day before the party to confirm with me again, which I appreciated. They arrived early, set up, and there was always an attendant inside the bounce house making sure the children were safe, did not bump into each other and each one had a turn. Everyone was happy with this company including myself. I would highly recommend them. read more

I rented a water slide a couple of times from this company but would never do business again with them because their customer service is too lacking. By the way, if they offer you $100 off know that they do this all the time. Their prices are higher than most and then they knock off $100 to make you feel like you got a deal. You didn't. For those of you interested in reading a long convoluted story, here it is: I contacted the company in May about possibly renting two slides; one for 4th of July and the other for July 19th. I was hoping to get a discount for renting two slides but Mike said he could not do that for the 4th of July which I understood as it's a holiday and it was no big deal. So, I asked him to confirm what slide we had last time and provide a price. He did call once but I missed him. After that, I called twice and left voice messages but never heard back. Then I left on a three week trip and had very little connectivity. On June 20th, I finally was able to email and I emailed Mike and asked him to verify the slide we rented last time, the availability for that day and the cost. He responded "Yes, I have it available and can do it for $400. Let me know if you want me to book it. Just give me the times (7 hours) you want it. Thank you Lisa" On June 21st, I emailed him again "The times are 2-6pm. Can you verify which slide we rented last time?" I don't believe I got a reply. I got back from my trip and emailed him on July 11 "Are we all set for next Sunday?" He emailed me "Tidal wave is not here anymore, can you pick another slide, or do you want me to pick it for you? Let me know..." I was really upset at this point because I repetitively mentioned the Tidal Wave / slide we rented before (it fits perfectly in our yard) and he never told me it was not available. We spent a lot of time going over the website trying to find something that was still available and fit in our yard. We finally picked one and I called Mike back and told him our decision. A few days passed and I still didn't get a contract. On July 15, I emailed Mike again saying "I never got a contract for this Sunday at 2pm. I don't really care but I just want to make sure I didn't slip through the cracks. We talked about the Firestorm." He responded the next day (three days before the party) with "Call me please we do not have anything booked" Now I was really upset. I called him and this is really when things went downhill. He greeted me with something like "How are you doing?" and I said that I was really upset. He did not seem to understand why. I said that we had spent a lot of time picking out the slide and calling him the other day and I was upset that he did not have my booking. He said he had a note that said "customer will call back". He said I never called back and that the Firestorm had been booked for a while. When I raised my voice, he said something along the lines of why are you getting so angry? I wasn't yelling or cursing but I was definitely upset. He said "Maybe you should take your business elsewhere" and I said "I think that is a good idea". I started googling for other companies. Two minutes later, he called back and said he found my contract. I said I was really upset at how he treated me and he said "I'm known for that". No apology, just that he's known for that. If he's a hot head, he shouldn't be answering the phones. I asked about the ownership and he stated that he was now an owner. I later found out that he is not an owner (the owner told me) so he was probably trying to keep me from complaining to the owner by stating that he was one. I ended up renting from another company and the price was about half of what I would have paid with South Florida Bounce. So in the end, Mike did me a favor and helped me save a lot of money! read more
