Sweet Treat at South Block I stopped by South Block and tried the Dubai Chocolate açaí bowl in the mini size . I swapped the bananas on top for blueberries and added chia seeds + collagen protein . The strawberries and blueberries were super fresh, and I really enjoyed the Dubai chocolate flavor. During a recent stay in Crystal City, I was thrilled to see this smoothie and bowl place within a very short walk of our hotel. It made for a great lunch one day. This was my first time trying the Loaded PBJ bowl and while the toppings / fruit were great (as always), the açaí wasn't what I expected/familiar with compared to the traditional way. The almond milk was more overpowering and I could barely taste the berries. However, that doesn't mean that this place isn't worth visiting. It's just a matter of trying different bowls to see what works for you/like or love.
