Their customer service has consistently been exceptional. Every team member I've worked with has been friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right materials for my projects. It's rare to find a company that maintains such a high level of service year after year. I also love how much they've grown. Their expanded inventory offers so many beautiful options, and their new Morgan Hill location is fantastic and much more convenient for me. I've remodeled two bathrooms in the past year, and the Morgan Hill team was outstanding throughout both projects. Anthony, in particular, was incredible during my most recent remodel. We were looking around for backsplash tile and weren't really finding anything we liked. A contractor suggested that we check out Superior Stone. We brought a sample of our granite countertop as well as paint chips of the wall and cabinet colors. Karen was very helpful and gave us a few suggestions. One detail we really needed help with was how to end the tile along one of our cabinet walls. The previous backsplash ended vertically with the edge of the cabinets. I never liked that look. I also don't like the look that many people do where they extend the tile along the wall horizontally from the bottom of the cabinets. I don't really like that look either. Karen suggested we go all the way up the wall from the edge of the countertop. That's what we did and I absolutely love the look. So now we have a "new" kitchen that we really enjoy. We never spent time in the kitchen before other than cooking. Now we tend to hang out in the kitchen much of the time I guess because we like the look and it feels inviting. Coast Building Products was a subcontractor on our recent remodel project. The scope included…read moreinsulating the attic, garage and crawl space at our home. Cliff Pilcher was the rep that came for the consultation with the contractor. We found him challenging to work with as he markets a specific type of insulation that we did not want, Certainteed (lots of consumer complaints about the odor). He agreed to our alternative choice. But when we came to vist the remodel, Certainteed insulation was being installed. This had to be removed. Personality challenges aside, the quality of work is poor. The installation of the insulation in the attic blocked gable and eave vents. The result was excessive temperatures in the attic that we only discovered after a home security professional brought down a hot to touch transformer. When we ascended the attic stairs, we were hit with heat. A thermal image in the attic showed excessive heat as well. In other words, had we not checked the attic, our new HVAC system and other transformers would have been subjected to heat levels that would have damaged $75,000 in equipment. The crawl space insulation installation laso was poor; vents blocked, poor installation.

Our west-facing walls that used to be hot to the touch in late afternoon are now cool. I also can't wait to benefit from lower heating bills this winter!

On the recommendation of a few neighbors, I had Marvin at Finesse Fence come out and give us a quote. When he came out to give a quote he gave a handful of ideas and pros and cons of each. He basically helped us choose what was best for us. Decided to go with Marvin and scheduled. His guys showed up on time! The work was great and his guys were extreme professional! The removal, install and clean up were all done with 5 star service. (2026) BUT Here Is Why I Wrote My First Review On Yelp Today: This past week I noticed a split in a panel and wanted to see if the warranty would handle it. Text Marvin, he called me back and set up a time to come out and look the next day. Arrived on time the next day and not only said yes he wanted to fix that panel against the warranty but he also had a look at the rest of the fence while he was there and saw a few posts that were structurally fine but were cracking, which he felt was too soon. So without even asking, Marvin said since my guy is going to be here for the panel I'm going to have him install a few posts using the warranty. You hear of companies who say ya give us a call if anything is wrong we'll come out and fix it. And most the time it's just words. Marvin really believes in making sure the customer is taken care of! He had two times I could choose from for his guy to come out. The next day or the following week. I choose the next day. His guy showed up and changed out the panel PLUS a few more. And changed out the posts. At the very least get a quote from Finesse Fence so they can tell you your options and know the removal, install and clean up or just the beginning of their 5 star service. Finesse Fence has a real warranty that Marvin will happily use if necessary to make sure his customer is so happy he would even write a yelp review for the first time!
