And the best cappuccino in Bristol award goes to.... Sourdough Cafe!!! The crowd goes wild.
Trust me when I tell you I don't give out an award like this willy-nilly and I am not alone in my opinion. From the first time it touches your lips it is just perfect. Perfect in temperature (not too hot, but stays warm) and flavour (slightly sweet without sugar). This is how it should be done.
They do other things well, like their amazing bread that is their own recipe; it is not bought from any supermarket. All the cakes are made by local chefs as well and are delicious.
Sourdough Cafe is hidden slightly, down at the far end of St Nick's market, under the glass arcade. I even love the way it looks, with a worn beach wood interior and furniture, you feel like you are sat in a beach hut. It really is so relaxing, even during the hustle and bustle of lunchtime down in St. Nicks.
I love it, this place was such a hidden gem, a genuine find, an incredible treat...ok I'll stop...I was the first to review it. I can only hope you all choose not to believe me so I don't have to queue to get my daily coffee fix. read more
