The staff are so friendly and most definitely patient as they watched me (without any huffing or puffing) as I pondered my decision for a good 10 minutes! The cakes taste wonderful, but the shop is a bit far out from the centre to visit regularly. It is a shame it doesn't get busier, especially as they claim they are Bristol's number 1 cake shop!

The cake was delicious and decorated beautifully, but no.1... i'm not completley convinced, I guess i'll just have to sample all the other cakes on offer... it's a tough job but someone's got to do it!

We stumbled across The CupCake Bakery 10 days before our wedding and contacted Zoe. She was super helpful and pulled out all the stops to help us (She has been booked to provide cakes for another wedding already on the same day of our wedding, but happy to squeeze us in after I told her our situation!) We were worried about how the cakes will turn out as we didnt have time to travel to Bristol to do tasting session. I enjoy cooking and baking myself so super fussy about the taste (but will be better than no cake at all at that point!). Zoe was very helpful in explaining how she was going to achive the tastes and decorations and promised us the cakes will be tasty, not over sugary and super moist. we had 2 different flavours for the cupcakes (Mango+ passion fruit, and chocolate) and a rasberry based top layer 6" cake. They all tasted AMAZING!!! much much better than the original cake provider who cancelled on us!!!!Our guests couldnt stop complimenting the cakes!and the rose piping looked so beautiful! The prise was very resonable too! Can't thank her enough. its 12 out of 10 score. :)

I can't begin to describe how lovely it was, they only use fresh, organic ingredients, and you can really tell. The flavours available are just wonderful - check out their website for the full list of flavours, I particularly liked the minty option. The cupcakes are delivered as a box of nine all nicely wrapped up and with a gift card to the destination of your choice (well, in Bristol anyway). Here's the catch, here's why I didn't give if 5 stars - for nine cupcakes you'll have to part with £15.00, plus a £5.00 delivery charge. That's £20 for 9 cupcakes. That's £2.22 recurring per cupcake. They are good cupcakes, but £20 is a lot for 9 cupcakes. I suppose it would be a lovely birthday, anniversary, valentines day surprise worth every penny...

They appeared to have cakes and coffees. I'm now intrigued. The interior design is that of a small French café with warm browns, golds and creams. I'm hungry already. In the small seating area, our group sat at the largest seat in the place, a half-circle booth. I had a coffee, yogurt and granola. A sweet, plain yogurt with some crunchy granola is a light, yet filling, shopping snack. The coffee warmed me up for the cold road ahead. Rob had a hot chocolate and a pain au chocolat. Yeah, he's got a bit of a sweet tooth. Servers were polite, professional and helpful. Our orders took a bit too long, considering we were right behind the bakery counter. Of course, it was very busy. I understand the wait, but I was a bit hangry (hungry + angry). Not a good emotion to have. It's definitely the less American choice we could find. How funny, the Americans come to England, expecting English-style food, but the closest we could find in the mall is a French patisserie.
