We were referred to Souce Academy by family and have been super happy with everything they've done. They have treated our son very well.

Ask the Community - Source Academy and Early Learning Center

Are half days available? Or 1 or 2 days a week only?

Are drop ins okay? What would the rate be?

Yes, they take drop-ins. The pricing depends on the age of the child. Give them a call and they can quote you. My daughter goes there and I'm really happy with them. She's almost 8mos and has been there since 3mos.

Can you accommodate a child with special needs?

We are an inclusive school so as long as our staff are able to give the child the best care and create an environment that works for all the children, we will absolutely accommodate a child with special needs.

From day one, we were welcomed like family. The daycare is always clean and well cared for, and the teachers, directors, and administrative staff truly go above and beyond. Everyone knows us by name, greets us warmly, and is consistently helpful and supportive. What truly sets them apart is the communication and partnership with families. They always take the time to talk through any concerns and make sure we're all on the same page both at home and at school. The engagement they have with both the families and the students is beyond words. My son has learned and grown so much at Kiddie Academy. The teachers are all wonderful at guiding children through important (and sometimes challenging) developmental milestones with patience, care, and genuine expertise. It's clear how much they truly care about each child's growth and well-being. We are so grateful to be part of this community and recommend Kiddie Academy to everyone we know without hesitation. We love Kiddie Academy of Centennial Hills! Thank you for everything you do for our son!

We've been with Creme De La Creme for 2 years now (from the Ann rd facility to the Farm rd…read morefacility) and have nothing but positive things to say about this place. My son started around 2.5 years old and is now 4.5 years old. This school has been such a positive influence on his learning and development. We've had Miss Carla as the director for these 2 years and she's so caring and nurturing and you can really tell what a positive influence she has on both the school staff and the children. The staff helped potty train my son all the way to writing his name, reading, doing math, and they put extra effort into meeting his needs and ensuring he has the support he needs. The staff ALWAYS report any incidents no matter how small, and I have never felt like there's been an issue that I didn't know about. And any time we did run into issues (which were not often), his teachers and Miss Carla always prioritized an effective resolution in a timely manner. I have ALWAYS felt like my son is safe and in caring hands at this school. They have an app that I use to communicate with the teachers, they always keep me updated on my sons activities, nutrition, etc. My husband has been deployed multiple times which has been hard on my son, but the staff here always have been empathetic and understanding and supportive of my son during those hard times. Miss Carla treats all the children with unconditional love, and I'm very thankful for the positive influence she's had on our lives. She set the bar so high, I know when we move it's going to be really hard to find another school that will meet our expectations thanks to the high standard that she's set. My son LOVES school, he absolutely loves all of his teachers and all of the activities they provide for them. I HIGHLY recommend this school.

This is not a school, no matter how much they try to tell you there is a curriculum it's a joke. I…read morewas so beyond disappointed. Our daughter has been home with us always, but with her little brother getting bigger I felt I wasn't able to give her the attention she deserved when trying to learn concepts so we started looking for preschools. We went in the tour and felt amazed. The facility it wonderful, the woman who provided the tour was so kind and had great energy. They assured us that there is a curriculum that they follow and that is why they don't do half days, because they don't want kids missing out of the curriculum that occurs before and after naptime. Great. Or so we thought. After 2 weeks I started having a gut feeling, they're not actually learning anything, this is a daycare with moments of semi-structured activities. I would like to state that if you ARE looking for a daycare, I feel this option is fine and probably better than other options. However, we did not need childcare and were not looking for a daycare, we were strictly looking for a PRESCHOOL. I asked about curriculum and schedule and they couldn't tell me much, this was interesting because during the tour they explained that they rotate classrooms and subjects every 30 minutes etc. Hmm. So I started picking my daughter up at different times to see if they were doing any type of activity.... nope. Every time I came, no matter what time, they kids were running around feral. Okay so right about then is when my gut feeling was confirmed and I started to feel taken advantage of. We expressed during our tour that this is a big decision as we've never left our daughter before, hardly even with babysitters even. So I immediately reviewed the contract and found we have to give 30 day notice, not a big deal except we were lied to about the nature of the program, so I put in the request to unenroll and was immediately called by the director. She seemed like this information was a shock. She said this was news to her and that their teachers are supposed to be following a structured curriculum, and she'd be following up with the teacher to resolve the issue. I felt slightly reassured until I started digging. I made a post asking other parents in the area their experience at Creme. Turns out, my experience was quite common. AND multiple teachers have been hired then quit shortly after under the same circumstances. The director basically lying, was just added insult to injury. So I followed up with the director, I requested she wave the 30 day notice due to the school misleading us on the nature of the services that would be provided. She said she was unable to do so. So basically they only care about getting their money from you. They are not a preschool. And the director is fake. I would never recommend this facility as a preschool. As a daycare, sure they're probably fine but that's not what we enrolled for and that's not what we were told the program was. Do not get blinded by the beautiful facility. Quite actually go anywhere but here for a preschool. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I love that my infant daughter gets "lessons" and exposure to new sensory experiences. It always sounds funny, but it's the truth... I'm sending my baby to "school" as opposed to just "daycare." Update 06/22/2018: I just wanted to update this review to let people know how much I have valued Merryhill. My daughter was enrolled when she was 8 weeks old and we kept her in this school through kindergarten. And while hers was the last year they offered kinder at this location, every other class leading up to it was wonderful and I would whole-heartedly recommend Merryhill to anyone. It's pricey, but it was completely worth it. My daughter has loved every single teacher she's had (as have I), she has made good friends, she tells me I pick her up too soon because she wants the day to continue on, and she has thrived there. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this school.

If you drop off or pick up your kids outside of that timeframe, you need to pay over $1700 a month as it is considered "extended hours". Besides that, the tuition does not include lunch. That'll be an extra $100 a month. Can't understand these policies... I've been to a lot of daycares, but I've never heard of this type of management.

Whether it has to do with education or healthcare (both of which were significantly better in Orange County). I enrolled my child at Shenker after talking to all the parents I would meet at the park in my neighborhood who would sing the school's praises. I am happy to say, Shenker lived up to my expectations. My child does not speak English as his primary language, and I was worried about how that would affect him. Also if I might add, I would get unsolicited comments from other educators concerning my refusal to speak English to my child at home. I am an educator ( I have a Masters in education and another Masters in school counseling) and I knew he would pick up English just as I did. Upon meeting with Dr. Sharon, he agreed with my approach concerning my son learning two languages, and put me at ease. My son has greatly improved academically and socially at Shenker. He is so happy to go to school, and everyone in the front office knows his name, as they do with ALL the students that attend their school. Dr. Sharon has truly been a joy to work with, and I see how much he cares for his staff and for his students at school. He knows every student's name and he works with every family to accommodate their needs. I honestly believe this school's success comes from the top down. I want to thank Shenker and Dr. Sharon for giving me peace of mind in the most important aspect of my life; my child's safety and education. Yours truly, Samvel's mom.

The staff has always been wonderful, especially the front desk and leadership team. Ms. Kelly, the owner, has also been absolutely wonderful to our family over the years. You can tell how much care goes into the school, the children, and creating a community for the families. One of my favorite things about Primrose has always been the events! I swear I have loved and attended just about every single one and I genuinely look forward to them. They do such a great job making things special for the kids and giving families opportunities to be involved and make memories together. Of course, over several years there have been a few hiccups here and there -- that is going to happen anywhere -- but what has always mattered to me is the overall experience and how things are handled. I have toured other schools and looked at other options over the years, and nothing has compared to Primrose for us. It's crazy to think that my little toddler is now getting ready for kindergarten. Primrose has been such a big part of his childhood, and I'm so grateful for all of the teachers, staff, friends, memories, and growth that have come from his time there. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Primrose Aliante!
