I strongly advise against enrolling your child at Stone Bridge Learning Academy. Today marks the last day my son will ever attend this facility due to multiple serious concerns regarding his safety and well-being. Over the course of just one week, my son came home with multiple bruises on his face from incidents that occurred while in the care of the academy. When I addressed this with staff, I was told that he was encouraged to "defend himself"--a deeply inappropriate response from a caregiver whose responsibility is to ensure all children are safe and supervised. My son has been raised to resolve conflict peacefully and has never been taught to use physical aggression. On one occasion, I personally witnessed another child hit my son while a teacher stood by and told him not to cry, without addressing the behavior or speaking with the other child or their parents. During our very first week, I observed a teacher act as if they were going to strike a child, which I reported to Karina in the office immediately. Unfortunately, these concerns were not met with appropriate corrective action. As a working parent, I rely on my child's caregivers to provide a nurturing and safe environment. I no longer feel that trust can be placed in Stone Bridge Learning Academy. We love Stonebridge! My 18 month old has a great time everyday learning, playing, eating, socializing. Honestly stone bridge was a life saver. When I was stressing about where I was going to put my son for childcare I toured a few places but a lot of them were dirty and lacked organization. I love that stone bridge hold events for our kids outside of normal school activities. Most importantly the staff was so invested in my son's well-being. My wife is pregnant and we are looking for a good place for daycare. We have seen some mixed reviews, but were still excited to visit Stone Bridge. Pulling up we immediately noticed the graffiti on the exterior of the building. When we walked in there was an employee named (April) hanging out in the waiting area playing on her cell phone. The receptionist told her to leave and go to the employee area. My wife asked to use the restroom and the receptionist rudely told her the customer bathroom was out of order and that she could not use the kids bathroom or the employee restroom. Overall a very bad experience so we left without even getting a tour and have no intention of going back. If they are not even willing to let a pregnant mother use the bathroom then we certainly cannot trust them to watch our child. read more

I am very expressed with this school, the teachers are very caring and give each child individual needs. The school is very clean and sanitary and they use every precaution to keep the children safe. I meant the director of the school and she answered all my questions and I loved her concern about my child's needs, she asked me questions about my daughters likes and dislikes and asked me if there was any special needs for her.I now feel at ease with leaving my child there, which was very hard for me to do as this is my first time leaving her. My son is not going to the school but they keep charging me on my credit card. Dont let them get your card information, if possible only pay cash. My son went to the academy only 3 days. The first day when I picked him up the AC was too cold and his little warms were cold and he got sick. He had his jacket on his backpack but anyone care to look or to check if he was cold or not. Second day they post pictures in the circle app and my son was playing outside. 102F and they let toddlers stay at 2pm under the sun. My son got sunburned and his checks were red when I picked him up. Third day he got really sick. He had fever, diarrhea and was throwing up a lot. I decided that I didn't want him to go to this academy anymore. I've paid 2 weeks, the second one he didn't went. But they are still charging me on my credit card. I asked the lady to take it out she said she did, but she lied. They are still using my card information to charge me. I paid almost $700 and my son only went to the academy 3 days in the month and he got REALLY sick. I would never recommend this place for anyone. Horrible! read more

No regrets moving my daughter over to Stone Bridge from another preschool. I'd known for a while we needed another program. My kiddo hates going to school (at 3yo!) and generally seemed unhappy. It took me several months to find a place that clicked and this was it. I toured 6 other schools this year and nothing was quite r This is a group of women who clearly love what they do and their passion is clear. Day one my girl was learning to write her name. Don't get me wrong, she clearly gets to play a lot, which was important to us but her play time is educational and intentional. Now, when I ask her what she learned at school, she actually has something to say. I'd recommend taking a tour and meeting this awesome team. My son was there for a short period (6mths) of time and within that short period of time he had learn so much from sign language, Spanish, colors etc. from a parent that is concerned about leaving my child with other people and worried about him getting mistreated the stuff was so good to him but also always friendly when my husband and I would drop off and pick him up! If you would have asked me 7 months ago, I would have 100% recommended Stonebridge to you! I loved it and was immediately sold! Spanish and sign language taught throughout the week, pictures sent throughout the day, and as your child moves up in rooms, your tuition goes down. My son was moved up to the two's room months before he was two (I was okay with it) but after a month in the new room, he started getting bit. I didn't fuss the first time, because I understand a child biting another is hard to prevent. I was understanding, but told the teachers as much as I don't want him getting hurt, I also don't want him to become a biter. Within 2/3 weeks it occurred two more times.. i asked what their policy was, and was told by both the teacher and front that the child gets put out of the school. The teacher at the time told me it was the same child that was biting not only my child, but at LEAST 2 others a DAY! I was told extra precaution would be taken, then I was also told not to worry, the little girl would be leaving. THEN the resolution was to move my new two year old, to the three year old room.. (he just turned 2 not even a month before they wanted to move him again) i then realized my son was now going on his second classroom change, and no tuition change had happened. When I asked, I was told I was already paying cheaper than the two moves discount... how, I don't know. I left it. Was told when my infant moved up, THEN I would see a big discount because infants is expensive and you see the difference. 2 weeks later, y son was officially in his new class for over a week, when I asked for the new tuition.. the assistant director (WHO IS WONDERFUL!) clearly saw in the computer, she said okay it's two weeks, we can definitely refund you, we'll send it back to you! Perfect! When I picked up, the director said I reviewed your account and we owe you $9.15 for two weeks... HUH.. she said I'll give you cash.. no print out, no explanation nothing. I told her umm you told me it was be a big discount.. for 3 classroom moves between two children.. my discount was $4 and change; professionally, if this was the truth, i wouldve shown a printout or refunded it online, like I was told it was going to be, it seemed very very shady! we put our two weeks in as it was too much, the week prior to us deciding to pull, my son got bit again, AND the same girl who they separated him from, they put her right in the new class with him. Their resolution was let me find out what happened.. oh they were playing. He came home with scratches on his face, a puncture in his hand, fresh at pick up the same week and no one had an explanation. When I asked it would take 2/3 days for an answer with a report. his last week, I was finally told he bit someone and at that point I signed the report but told them why should I care when it's been done to him so much, and nothing was done to keep him safe, I of course talked to him in the car, told him it was inappropriate, but when it's done to you so much, it becomes a learned behavior. When I would pick my infant up, teacher would be making mop water, and I would just be standing there waiting for her to get my son. no acknowledgment nothing. i finally walked over as he's crying to get him out of the table. There was a day I picked up and asked for his daily paper, was told they didn't have time to make his... but every other baby had one. He's there for 9 hours, it's a task of writing his name, circling his lunch and circling if he pooped or peed. They decided to start my youngest in a new classroom, for his last week, monday I dropped off in his normal classroom, Tuesday morning I was told his stuff is gone, it's no longer his room.. no communication about changes. I've picked up to my son crying alone on the carpet, by himself with no explanation, I've changed him at home with poop still on him from previous diaper changes, his personal belongings writing on with sharpie (backpacks, jackets, cups, clothes), his items lost, and they would come home in other people's diapers, or pull-ups when they had some at the school. I would ask to make sure I wasn't the parent that was lacking on supplying the school. There had been some really amazing staff there while we were in attendance, and I would have loved to recognize them because they did make me stay for the duration I did! Unfortunately they are all gone. Carinna who works the front is great to work with and enjoy seeing her face in the mornings! The price was reasonable especially since we thought that as they grew with the school, our tuition would drop, but it wasn't worth it to have my son hurt all the time. There were a lot of instances that I overlooked because I was happy and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The way we were lied too, cheated, and treated as we were leaving just wasn't worth it. Not sure how this place has so many good reviews. Parents please pay attention to the bad reviews on here. I've had issues with this facility from day 1. Their staff is extremely rude and passive aggressive, not only with parents but with children as well. I have been present in the room multiple times when I've seen teachers grabbing toddlers by their arm and pulling them and speaking to them rudely. My son hated coming here and unfortunately I didn't have a choice for a few short weeks and had to bring him while he was on the waitlist for a better daycare. I could sit here and write so many bad things about this place but to put it short, I was over charged (two payments taken from my bank account in one week) and every payment that is taken from my bank is a different amount. I have called and multiple phone numbers and emailed different emails and still have yet to hear anything. The front desk "Alexis" who claims to also be the manager has given me the run around each time I bring my concerns to her and dismisses everything I bring up regarding this issue. I'm super grateful we found this day care for our little boy. During the time he was here he was successfully potty-trained, learned to write his name, tell us about his day and developed social skills that were crucial for a (formerly) only child like him. The sign language lessons that they gave were especially helpful with his dexterity issues that I was worried about and is something I think I will build up on as a second language for him. I'm glad that we found this daycare and only wish that all daycares were more like this one. The hardest thing about being a full time mom is finding childcare. We experienced all different kinds of childcare for my first born - nanny, play-based daycare, Montessori school and now Stone Bridge Learning Academy. We are so grateful for the preschool. Not only do they provide quality care for the children, they care about the parents as well. Whenever I drop my daughter off at school, I am always surprised to be asked, "How are YOU doing?" All of the teachers from other schools only talk and ask about the child. But Stone Bridge Learning Academy understands that the best thing for a child is for his/her parent to be healthy and taken care of as well. This kind of care and support is unheard of! They truly understand the struggles of being a working parent. The facility is warm, modern and very clean. I'm used to my daughter always being sick from being in other daycare facilities. She has yet to get sick from Stone Bridge Learning Academy. I know that it's attributed to them cleaning and taking care of the classrooms well. They also have the best learning toys! Because Stone Bridge Learning Academy is a STEAM school and they also teach the Abeka Curriculum, learning is very interactive and hands on. This makes learning incredibly fun and probably explains why my daughter is so eager to go to school every morning. They also use an app to communicate with parents. I love getting notifications throughout the day to see exactly when my daughter is doing I also love that they send videos of my daughter playing or learning with her friends. This is always the highlight of my day. Ever since my 2yo started Stine Bridge Learning Academy she comes home singing all these new songs she learned, like "Teddy bear Teddy bear". It warms my heart to know that everything my daughter learns at school -- colors, animals, shapes, etc. We are so blessed to know that not only is my daughter well taken care of, she is happy to go to school. The front desk, as well as other staff were told that my grandson had hearing issues do to fluid in his ears, the information was not passed on to the staff that supervised my grandson. We are so grateful and Happy we Found stone Bridge. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. Our preschooler really flourished at Stone Bridge. The teachers are wonderful and warm. Ms Falls has done a great job with our toddler she's learned so much more than I imagined she could learn in such little time. They really do care about the kids, and it shows! The student-teacher ratio is fabulous so there's always an adult there when needed, or simply just to do a project with. The preschool director Krista is quite excellent and professional as well. I have two children attending this school and they will be leaving by the end of the year for various reasons. 1. We started the school with the expectation that for the price we give my children will get breakfast and lunch. One day about 1 month after attending this school, they sent out a letter that said "starting tomorrow, we will no longer be serving breakfast" - they did not change tuition and thus have broken their own agreement with families. 2. Communication is inconsistent and unprofessional. Randomly, we get messages about various things that are unrelated to anything. They say one day "we need every child to come to school with a jacket." Um it isn't cold enough for a jacket, why can't my kid just have long sleeves and jeans? They use their messages to change their rules without a parent signature accepting to their new rules. When I started here, my 2 year old was expected to have only a blanket. 3 months later, he needed a crib sheet and a blanket. And last week it was a crib sheet or a blanket. Obnoxious The rules for my infant changed continually as well with the excuse "according to the health department code..." but don't make an accurate reference to the health department code and make it very challenging for parents to follow along and research for themselves this "code". 3. Passive aggressive and dismissive Everything is "I'll let the director know" "I'll ask the director" "per the director" without any follow up from the director for clarification. I just now had my first email from the director about her not letting my daughter go to school today. In person she said "she can't come back for 24 hours" well it had been 24 hours and I still couldn't take her to school. I had to call my employer and he needed to find a last minute sub (if it is possible in a district with Virtually NO subs) when I picked her up the day before there was no "we'll see her next week. Nothing" how am I to plan that my baby can't go to daycare when I'm expecting to follow the law of 24 hours? And 24 hours isn't even enough! Honestly, I am really pissed at this place. My daughter's teacher walked out on the job and I'm sure it is because of the leadership of this place is so shaky. read more

She attended for about a month and sadly I began getting scheduled later then their closing time of 5:30 so I had to withdraw her . But I have nothing but good things to say about this place . So this review is LONG overdue, but I thought it would be best if enough time passed for me to really get a clear overview of the care SBLA provides. When my son was born we had a in-home nanny, then when he was about 8 months we decided to switch to daycare (he is now 2 years old). We toured another daycare (within close proximity) to SBLA and my son was there all of one week. Granted, that particular daycare was not HORRIBLE...but I just didn't get the comfortable vibe I was looking for. When I toured SBLA I knew right away that it was the perfect place for my son. SBLA offers the same basics as any other daycare however what set it apart and what continues to set it apart is the facility Director Krista's dedication to her job and the children there. This woman answers and addresses my concerns no matter what time it is. There has not been one single concern I have brought up to Krista that she hasn't taken care of! The fact that this woman was answering my emails while she was on vacation is mind blowing. Now there have been very minor hiccups but people are human and I do not have unrealistic expectations for a facility in charge of a ton of children. Things happen .. but when they did happen as long as I have communicated with Krista she has addressed the concerns with the teachers and the issues go away. Now , there is somewhat of a high turn-around which sucks because we want our kids to grow with someone that has been around them BUT again Krista does not play and if the teachers aren't doing a good job...they no longer work there. Let me re-iterate, we have all seen the news about children getting abused in daycare facilities ...SBLA does not play about who they let watch children! My only reccomendation would be more access to our children while they are in the care of SBLA i.e a more interactive app where we would communicate with the teacher in a more personalized manner. The pictures are great and in all honesty I used to check the picture app every five minutes but now I don't because I know I can trust SBLA with my son. However with the outstanding care along with the competitive price SBLA charges.. I have no room/reason to complain about technology lol. Also, I love Ms. Katie! We selected Stone Bridge after extensive research and touring several childcare facilities for our 14 month old son. What I like most is that it isn't just a day care. The toddler class is set up similar to a classroom and my son is learning and being engaged throughout the day as well as getting plenty of play time. He is learning sign language and comes home most days with a painting or craft. The healthy meals are prepared at the school at no additional cost to me. The cost of care, which is paid weekly, is reasonable. The teachers genuinely care about the kids and nothing makes me feel more at ease than when he runs to them for a big hug in the morning excited for another day. I'm given updates throughout the day through pictures via an app and I can always call to check in. When I have raised concerns over staff or procedures I'm met with an open minded conversation and leave feeling like I've been heard and that plans for improvement are made. Where do I start? I had high hopes for Stone Bridge Academy based on the reviews and the communication I was receiving from the director. I can honestly say I have no clue how the reviews are this high. I was looking for a daycare/preschool for my toddlers that would be a happy medium from my work and home so I decided to schedule a tour. When approaching the facility, the building looks a little run down (it's in an older area of town, so no biggy). When I entered, the admins at the front were not welcoming at all. If anything I seemed like an inconvenience for being there. The admin (to the left of the split entrance) needs to be trained in customer service basics--by far the worst welcoming out of all the daycare/preschools I have toured. All I could think about is I hope the kids aren't welcomed the same way. After starting the tour I immediately noticed an overbearing scent in the building-- it made me nauseous. If your kid has allergies I would be weary! It was so bad once I left that the scent was in my mask and I had to toss it. The twos room also smelled like poop and pee, it was not pleasant at all. As we walked back to the twos room I heard some loud music coming from the room we were about to enter. My I add, it was nap time. When I walked in, the MUSIC (DURING NAP TIME) WAS SOOOOO LOUD that I was barely able to hear the lady speaking. When I asked if this was normal she replies with, "Yes, it helps the children sleep." My heart went out to all the kids in the room as there was not one sleeping child, probably because how loud the "classical" music (which it was not) was playing. If I were a parent here I would be livid! But that's just the thing, most of our young kids aren't able to fully tell us what takes place. The lady (who I could barely hear), walked me over to the play area which on the way I noticed the broken drawers that seemed to be a danger for the kids in the room. The outdoor play area looked like an alley way where they put some artificial grass over concrete and some play equipment. The front desk lady and the director seemed to contradict each other when my concerns with the nap time music being so loud. The admin said it is always like that, while the director said she wasn't sure why it was so loud and she supposedly asked the teacher to turn it down. I used to work with kids and there is no way in hell I would EVER have the music that loud. It is horrible for their sleep and the child's development. PLUS tours of inside the room shouldn't be allowed during nap time as it disrupts the children. Most places I have seen will allow you to view the room through the window, but not enter. I found it odd, that the Director informed me that as a parent I was not allowed to drop-in from 11:30 am- 2:30 pm as the children napped during that time, however, I was able to tour the facility during that time and enter the classroom to disrupted it--which I clearly didn't because the music was so loud--I am not even exaggerating. Not to mention on the way out I tripped over the raised area that serves as a stool for children to wash their hands. Most facilities I have been to have sink appropriate areas that don't require elevation. It seems like a hazard for the kids. All around BAD VIBES. Krista (the director) is responsive via Yelp messages. I didn't see good happy vibes from the kids and the place seemed way over crowded in the twos room. From the moment I was greeted, I knew this was not the place. If you can, save the money and look elsewhere, or hire someone to watch your kids from home. NOT A GOOD OPTION. If you are a current parent here, I would recommend some surprise visits for them. Horrible. read more

Ms. Lolo, Ms. Gabby, Ms. Linda, and Ms. Evita(sp?) are all fantastic. Krista the director is a lying, money hungry snake. We gave our two weeks notice, front office staff confirmed, they then proceeded to charge us a third week. After a week of email and phone calls with no answer, finally Krista responded with an email stating they only bill by the week, so they will be charging us for an extra week. Huh? Our daughters last day was a Monday(which was two weeks after we gave notice) but we had our card charged until Friday. She then lied and said this was explained to us. No it wasnt. Why would we constantly be asking about the status of our refund? We would have kept our daughter in until the end of the week. The only thing the front office told me(Alexis) is that our refund was being worked on. Thanks for the year, hope you get to keep that money for yourself, Krista. You clearly need it more than we do! read more
