Came here after dinner on a Saturday night at around 9:30PM. The security briefly checked our IDs and we walked down the stairs to the bar. The place was already pretty crowded and loud, as you'd expect from a bar/lounge. There wasn't really much space to stand with the amount of people there, though it wasn't hard to get the bartender's attention and order drinks. There are places to sit and a dancefloor and pool tables behind couches. We managed to find an empty pool table and my friend went to the bar to get the balls for the table, HOWEVER, we were told we had to wait 1.5 hours to play on an empty table. It made no sense as noone was even there. This ruined the mood for a few of us and some of us decided to leave while several remained to finish their drinks. Would've liked to enjoy this place but I think I'd have to pass. read more

We were there the same night there was an "art off" (2 artists work in teams of 2 to create a work of art related to an assigned theme complete with judges who make the decision on who the winner will be). This place offers pool and ping pong as well as some drink selection. They also have free water if you typically stick to that. So I may be jumping the gun because I've only been to this place once thanks to the lovely suggestion from a friend. But I had such an amazing experience the entire time I was there. I went on a karaoke night and boy... the participants were so talented. Sometimes I thought the actual song was playing on radio instead of participants singing. It was so nice to watch and listen to. After a bit of sitting, my friend and I played what felt like a million rounds of foosball. They had other games available like ping pong and pool with multiple tables. As well as board games like scrabble. Drinks are affordable and interesting, including flavors like soju and yuzu. We came to Sour Mouse with a small group for some beers. There were a decent amount of people here playing pool and ping pong. The music is very loud, especially if you are standing near the dance floor or bar area, it is hard to hear each other. They also have spray a lot of fog in the bar area. If you are not here to play games, but to catch up near the bar area, this is not the place to go. But if you are here for games and to drink, it is a nice place to be. Came here the other day and wanted to play some beer pong so we asked how much it costed. The bartender said that usually people just buy a pitcher of beer and then they'll give you the equipment to play. We then proceeded to play a game and due to our skill finished pretty quickly. Someone who worked here then came around and said "If you want to play another game you'll need to order another pitcher" which seems a bit excessive for 3 people to finish a pitcher every 15 minutes or so if they want to keep playing, especially when this detail was not mentioned initially. We ended up just going and sitting down instead after he really killed our vibe. Some other people then started playing on the table with the equipment that we had left and they clearly did not have a pitcher but the guy did not come back around and kick them out so we weren't sure if he was just kidding or what but it ended up really ruining our mood for the night since we came here in hopes of playing a few rounds. read more

Came here today on a Friday night and really enjoyed the drinks here, there was a live band playing and security was doing temperature checks which was resassuring. They had ping pong and pool tables but I believe the pool tables weren't open due to covid. There was a lot of seating and you order by scanning on your phone on a QR code which is definitely more sanitary than having menus that get passed around. Bathroom was spacious and clean. I ordered the yuzu sour mouse and the sour fizz drink and I personally liked the yuzu sour mouse more, the fizz was a bit too fruity for my taste, but I am glad they decided to incorporate yuzu into their drink menu because I love yuzu everything! My other friends have tried other drinks on the menu and said they were all really good. The only down side is that they have limited food options here I believe all I saw was cheese plates and meat plate. They do have some table snacks such as popcorn and pretzel but some French fries or nachos would have really hit the spot! Decor was nice and the waitress were all really friendly, I would definitely recommend this spot whether you're with a few friends or a whole crowd there's plenty of seating to do some catching up with good drinks and great music! read more

Had an absolutely amazing time here :) Went here with a few friends for some drinks and ended up staying there most of the night on a Wednesday!! The ambiance is really great, especially with their beer pong and pool set up. The bartenders were super friendly too - one of my friends accidentally dropped a glass on my foot and they all were very concerned about it (I was okay though!). They even let my friend charge her phone there LOL. Also there were people performing live that night (I think they do on every Wednesday night) and they were very lovely and talented and made the whole experience so much better! They even let us go on stage and sing the chorus of 22 by Taylor swift :) Made some really good memories there over good music and good drinks! Would definitely go here again with friends! read more

Went in to enjoy my night with friends. This place looked great. Chill, fun, full of games and great drinks. It wasn't until I purchased a vodka soda, that I realized a house vodka was 15 dollars. As I agreed to pay for this over-priced drink, a bouncer came up to me and demanded I remove my crochet Santa Hat. Looking around, I saw people one sweat pants, loungewear, sneakers, etc. I told this grinch he was ruining Christmas, and he said I had to remove my handmade festive cap immediately. 2.5 stars. Overall- a cool place to play pool or fooseball with a large group of friends. However it is definitely not elegant in the slightest. I've been here twice in the last month with groups of friends. The drinks taste gross and I think it has to do with the fact that they only use reusable plastic cups instead of glass. Plastic cups are known to harbor smells and bacteria, and this is a huge turn off because it makes the drinks taste off. There isn't much ventilation, its always really hot and sweaty. Very dark and sweaty and foggy. Maybe I'm just being extra because I will say, everyone else there seems to be having a lot of fun! I just pay attention to detail. Plenty of room to social distance and great decor. There are pool tables, ping pong table, and beer pong. Plenty of tables to sit at also. Ordering is thru QR code scanning. Everything is done on your phone. Cocktails were tasty and there is a wide variety of craft beers to choose from. There was a live band that night, that was very enjoyable to listen to. Such a great spot, which had live performers even on a Sunday night! The place is HUGE, with ping pong and Bullard tables throughout that were mostly unused. We had a small gathering and had enough space to ourselves by the corner, and were able to easily (and safely) access the bar, which had a nice variety of beers. Sunday's at Sour Mouse are very fun! Came with a couple friends to attend their comedy show (Sunday Sqool Comedy) which is a ticketed event and the lineup for the night was hilarious. Walked in and they ticketed us downstairs where we were seated. I recognized some of the comedians on stage. I got the gay beer (It's literally called gay beer) which was good. The show has free pool tables after for those attending so I got the Asian Yuzu drink and played some pool! Super fun place to spend your Sunday! read more

There was an open mic event with local comedians which was sort of a downer due to the silence and the very little crowd that was there. This is a review about the venue not the comedians. All I'll say is open mics are tough. Once the open mic was over the vibe totally change. The music was good and the pool table were spread out nicely. My beer however was flat which was disappointing and when I closed my tab they charged me full price for the pool table when my tab was clearly started well before 7. All in all it was clean, the pool tables worked, the aesthetic was cool, but I probably won't go back. read more

Myself and a couple of friends was so excited to visit this place last weekend.. I had a party of 8 & 3 wheelchair persons . As reading the website it said to call ahead to let them. It says on the website wheelchair accessible. Upon arriving to the Sour Mouse it was not wheelchair assessable they had items in a wheelchair elevator and refuse to remove any of it. So I experience was really bad and I felt embarrassed. The workers were very rude. read more
