Super disappointing place if you want to play pool or ping pong. They advertise it as "first come first serve" which is just not at all accurate. The bartender said ping pong would be available at 9pm, but that we can sign up for the wait list. After being next on the wait list for an hour, we then find out the people that currently have the table can continue reserving it as long as they please. Then we get told that someone made a reservation at 10pm LOL. We waited around for 2+ hours for no reason. I'm only giving this place an extra star because the bartender offered a free shot for the trouble. There needed to be more beer pong as there was only one table so we had to wait on someone playing for awhile. Bartender was great and prices weren't terrible for drinks. This place has a variety of events along with different games, including pool, foosball, ping pong, and board games. My friend attended a speed dating event here and said it was a good time. When I arrived, they had a DJ who was playing a variety of music, and the crowd was dancing and having a great time. The drinks were pretty mediocre for the most part and overpriced unless you come here for happy hour. I love lychee martinis, and the one from here was just ok. They only added one lychee, I wish they would have added at least 2. If you're into overpriced games, this is a spot that you will probably enjoy. read more

The bartender was rude they kicked us out early at around 1225am. When we arrived there was at "gay comedy show" as described by the bartender. The whole pool and ping pong hall could hear it. No music was playing. The show was offensive racist and inappropriate. Super distracting and this is coming from a (POC) member of the lgbt+ community. It was clearly trying to be "edgy" but it was just catering to queer WHITE women. The person made "black" specific "jokes" which were so obviously racist. DRINK?" Like she's correcting the way I'm ordering, very reminiscent of when you're in elementary school and you ask the teacher "can I go to the bathroom" and she says "I don't know, CAN YOU or did you mean MAY YOU?" Overall, Sour Mouse is such a dope vibe. The pool tables, the ping pong, the pizza... I loved it! No shade but they could used some utensils and a first aid kit though. Last time we were there, there was a crew playing beer pong too! Lots of tables and booths around the periphery. They sometimes have live music and do art shows. Last time I was there I thought their tap list was a bit lacking, and they only had soju cocktails - but perusing their menu now looks like they have a full blown bar! I've never ordered food here, but last time I saw people ordering pizzas. We thought there would be a secluded area for our party since we paid for the package but we were pretty much merged in with random people making it difficult to even converse with our group. Got random people playing at our table even though we reserved it. Had to tell multiple groups that we reserved the tables. It felt like the staff were extremely unprepared knowing that there was a big group coming in for a birthday. The bartender was extremely rude as it was difficult to hear him telling us to move over the loud music which resulted in him repeating himself a few times. He then muttered "you guys are not f*** deaf" in such a nasty tone. I understand that it might be annoying to repeat yourself but that was completely unprofessional. It honestly killed the vibe. The beer selection was on point, and they have some great pizza selections and other food items to choose from. We didn't get to try their pizza, as we ate before we arrived, but it sure looked and smelled good. (NOTE: there is a "food item must be ordered" standard there; which is part of city/state ordinance for such an establishment to serve alcohol. Pros: - My hubby heard about this place from The Fung Brothers and thought it was such a fun place to throw a party. You go downstairs to a spacious venue with really high ceilings, cool street art, plenty of pool tables, 2 foosball tables, beer pong tables, and 2 ping pong tables. There are many bar stools, some sofas, and a performance stage with a projection screen. We worked with Phoebe for our event, she was easy and communicative. The bartender Andressa (major kudos- as she was the only bartender for 4 parties for most of the night!!) was really nice and hustled nonstop. - The pizza came out quick and was not bad! They serve only 10-inch pizzas with the following toppings: pepperoni, mushroom, margarita, sausage, and all-white pizza. All pizzas are $16 for the whole 10-inch pie. Cons: - While the girls' bathrooms were pretty clean, I heard the opposite about the boys' Note: - Happy Hour 3 pm - 6 pm - All ping pong & pool tables are $25/hr per table. Super fun spot! Went there on a Tuesday night. It was busy but not crowded. you can quickly get a pool or ping pong table with your group of friends. You don't have to wait long to get a drink, which was a plus!!! They had a live band with a pianist who worked for Madonna! The crowd was mixed and ranged from 25-45 years old. You must get the lychee martini! It was not overly sweet or strong. Super yummy. I probably had 5 of those. I wish I had tried their food/snacks too. The women's bathroom was clean! Perfect spot to bring a date here or with a small group of friends on a weekday after dinner. The Fung Brothers, youtube influencers are regulars there. We happened to see them there. Hosted my husband's birthday here last Thursday and everything turned out great! We were able to reserve two pool tables in the corner next to two booths. This was the perfect amount of space for our party of 13. The staff was accommodating, from booking the reservation to the care we received while we were there. Came to this place last night for a game night Meetup and had a really good time! You go underground and enter a snazzy basement. Part of the Meetup price gave us a free drink and unlimited pool and ping pong for about 4 hours which means I got a really good price to patronize this place, but I also did spring for an additional pepperoni pizza which cost an overpriced $15 for its small size. While the pizza is nothing to write home about, I did eat it pretty much all by myself (and I really wasn't all that hungry) without my boyfriend's help so I guess that says something. I am also AWFUL at ping pong, but last night was the first time I was actually able to practice enough to get some good volleys in and not completely suck. At the time of my visit, there was NO full bar, only soda available was Coke, and pizza was the only thing on the menu. Additional snacks, popcorn, chicken tenders, fries, ANYTHING would really take this place to the next level. But, the bartender was REALLY awesome, especially navigating around the whole Meetup freebie situation, and I LOVED the ambience of this place, the artwork, and the music was GREAT. At some point, they even had a fog machine going on with cool lighting effects. And everyone there was SUPER nice, friendly, no bad vibes or pretentiousness. It was very easy to jump in on a game with a random someone or call next. My biggest complaint is that they have a membership plan for free in which you can get discounts for drinks or games but its Iphone users only. I felt a little hurt but I still had a good time here. Aug 18, 2022 - I visited this establishment for a singles mixer organized by the Thursday app. I paid for two cocktails separately and closed out my tab each time. The cocktails are priced at $14 each. I have a habit of tipping in cash so no tip was left on my credit card receipt. I come home and there are two charges of $35 and $38 posted to my credit card account. This is so shady! I don't know who they have working at the bar but this is absolutely unacceptable. I would have given more stars but it's appalling to see this from a venue that a renowned app regularly uses for it's mixers.
