The shop is a bit small, so if you plan to sit down during lunch rush you may find it a bit crowded as the inside has one bar to sit near the window and an outdoor bench style park table that seats comfortable 4 people. My first venture I decided for to try the vegetarian peanut curry. This was served with rice and very tasty with not a piece of Tofu in sight (not that it said there was which is why I opted for it). My second visit (the very next day) I went for Thai soup with soup really being their focus (hence the name!!). Having remembered me from the previous day, they were ahead of me with my requirements. Notably, they do have a good range of soups available and even give calorie details for them! Only down side for this restaurant is that there is no English menu. I looked them up and translated what I wanted from their website and then went to order. Whilst their English was very good, I wouldn't want them to have to run through the menu for me. However, this is typical of Hamburg at the moment, I'm hoping one day for more English menus to be available in restaurants/cafes. I had assumed that I would have to warm the soup up when I got back to the office as I tend to find takeaway hot food is not really so hot! But no! The soup was piping hot still which was great. It did slow my eating somewhat, but in a good way! and they give a little bread roll to help soak up the last bits. Service was quick so queue does go down quickly if you encounter this. I'm very pleased with this discovery.

Locals are always crammed into this place during the high traffic lunch and dinner hours, so you may not get a seat right away. Awesome place if you're gluten free because all the soups (unless noted on the board) are gluten free and many are dairy free and there are options for vegans and vegetarians as well as meat eaters! They just opened another small location in Vorderes Schwachhausen but it has limited seating compared with the original. The only thing that could be better about this place is if they extended their somewhat limited hours!!
