We had a lot of problems in our recent experience that could have been solved with better communication. We spent a lot of money and are not happy with the end result. The reason we brought our vehicle in for a repair was to have a working DVD player in the back for an upcoming trip. Our DVD player is not repaired. The radio system did not work, so they told me they had to install an aftermarket radio to get it working. A few hours after dropping it off I was called and told that they had to open up the roof because the DVD player was not working after installing the radio. I okayed it and expected they would call me back to let me know when it was working. No one called me until it was finished and time to pick it up. I assumed it was all fixed since they told me to pick it up, but when I was shown the new system the DVD player was not working. Someone should have told me that it was not going to be working when I picked up the vehicle. I likely would have not had the aftermarket radio installed if it wasn't even fixing the problem I wanted fixed. When I picked it up I was surprised at what I got. We knew it would be aftermarket, but no one explained to us that it meant we would have cords coming out of the car now to connect our phone, and to use the phone on bluetooth from a wired speaker before they installed it. The phone even has trouble staying connected when plugged into the cord, so the music and phone calls continuously disconnect. The bluetooth also does not work all the time. To fix the DVD problem I was told we would have to get one from a salvage yard. They do not do the ordering for this part, so I had to do it myself. The guidance that I received was inadequate in obtaining the correct part. The part that the salvage yard sent from the information they told me to tell them was not compatible with the new radio they had installed. I left my car with them all day (for a second time) and was told at the end of their working day that it was not compatible. I was out of time to get the DVD player working before our trip. I left the shop having nothing fixed the second day, having wasted the whole day without a vehicle, and with a part that I had to return back to the salvage yard. (Which was not easy to obtain on time in the first place. I had to make special arrangements to get that part to them to do the repair on time.) I am unhappy with how much money I spent, and that now I am left with more problems than solutions. Promises were made to us which were not kept in fixing the problem in a timely manner. It was not a timely manner, the problem we wanted fixed was not fixed, I had to do too much work to get all the necessary parts to them on time, and we spent way too much money. Usually don't do this, but there's too much that went wrong with my car that I can't leave alone. Pics attached below Went to this shop cause their worked looked pretty good on the website and its close by my house. Got a quote for them to do a lot of stuff my car. They did the big 3 wiring upgrade, alarm with remote start, birds eye view cameras, wired up the head unit, ran wiring for a sub in the trunk, new wiring to the door speakers and install 3 way component speakers and swap out the rear door speakers and install an amp under the passenger seat. Big list. I wanted them to do the alarm because i have no experience with that part plus my car was bought in Japan and shipped over here. So it's different from the U.S. models and no diagrams are available. I do give them kudos for installing the alarm on such a difficult car, but now what happened during all of this. They told me a couple days for all the work and I said ok and scheduled an appointment for 10am. I dropped my car off 10am sharp on the scheduled day. So, I let them do their thing and a couple days go by so I called them and they said they were still working on it. So I went up there on the 4th working day of them having my car and nothing had been worked on. It was still all apart the same way i left it. Couple more days go by and then they were running into issues with the camera wires not able to go through the door grommets. So they needed to take the doors off and drill new holes and run the wires. So i said ok that will take time for sure. Long story short they had my car for about a month. They had broke a mirror, replaced it, but its not the same depth perception as the other one so its definitely off looking. My car came back all scratched up and a new big dent in my door. My car had no dents before. The wiring work they did is unacceptable. They just ran all the wiring any way they could make it work. No organization or anything. They had broken both of the plastic tabs on my pillar that connect to the car to stay in place. They loss my memory seat buttons that go on the driver side door. The battery terminal wires were left ziptied together instead of trying to ask to upgrade the terminal so all the extra wires will fit. They cross threaded a couple of under the dash bolts and my seat bolts. They put the amp under the passenger seat and wired it all up but its not even mounted. It just moves freely back and forth. The fuse blocks for the 2 amp wiring are not mounted and just laid in the engine bay. After the month had gone by I wanted my car back because it was taking too long and things were getting messed up and didnt look like it was too much quality in the work so I took my car with out them finishing. They didnt finished installing the tweeters or mid range speakers because I didnt know where i wanted them mounted, but also just wanted my car back. And still paid full price. This has to be the most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. The owner Jose talks to you crazy and v condescending. They kept my car overnight on a simple job ( a radio and 4 speakers) . when I called the next afternoon to check on it, Jose told me h pulled his guys off my car to start another job, his decision. I also wasn't satisfied with the speakers and told Jose the sound barely comes outside the car and he states "they're not outside speakers (no shit Sherlock). I dropped my car off Friday afternoon, they told me they were missing a part but that they would still be able to finish by the end of the day. They stayed after close to finish my car. While they were showing me how to sync everything, I realized the head unit was not the one I originally wanted (missing ApplePlay). They said no problem and switched it right away. I apologized profusely, but they assured me it was no trouble at all. Great customer service, the guys are so nice. We'll definitely be back. read more

Do not go here, I had some work done the summer of 2012 and here's my story in a nutshell: 1. They took much longer to get all the parts than they told me. Gave them 2 weeks lead time and they still delayed my install. 2. They had a high mark-up on the parts. I prob could have gotten them for about 20% cheaper (but didn't have the time). 3. They substituted components on my parts list with much cheaper parts and never told me. I noticed a box that I didn't order in the pile when I dropped my car off... 4. had to redo the satellite radio antennae wiring as it couldn't maintain a signal in the lazy place the put it (on the head unit). 5. I had to remove the dash again about week later because the head unit would shut off when I hit a bump. Found a couple of very poor connections. To be fair they told me to bring it back and they would check the power issue but I had to wait days for an appointment and they didn't sound like they believed me anyway, so I did it myself. I also really couldn't bear to go back to the smoke smelling store as I have an allergy .... read more

Went to this place because my favorite shop in town closed, another shop I went to was busy and these guys weren't. Had a problem with a speaker cutting out. They told me it is the speaker even though I said I already had them replaced once - Fine - I believed them. I did not want to get expensive speakers in case the problem persists. I really should have done more research instead of making a stupid decision on the spot but I said OK to their "cheapest" speakers and got charged $150 for QPower speakers + install. Later when I did some research turns out that these speakers are just $35 for the pair! There is no way that installation is $120 considering that I already had aftermarket speakers..so it is just take the old ones out and put new ones in. This shop has poor selection and charges WAY too much. In the end the same problem was there - they said it is probably the amp now. I wish they would actually troubleshoot stuff. Turns out they were wrong twice - the problem is with one of the outputs on the head unit. read more
