Unfortunately, the service was a completely different story. Our server, Kierstin, seemed either to be having an exceptionally bad night or simply wasn't suited for a customer-facing role. She was inattentive, unfriendly, and provided one of the poorest dining experiences we've had in quite some time. At one point, I ordered an amaretto sour and was told they were unable to make it, which was surprising given that they appeared to have a fully stocked bar. It left me wondering whether she had even checked with the bartenders. If I were rating the food alone, it would easily earn a 4 out of 5. The service, however, was a 1 out of 5, which brings my overall rating down to a 3. I don't usually mention employees by name in reviews, but in this case I hope management takes it as constructive feedback. With a little coaching--or by reevaluating whether she's in the right position--future guests could have a much better experience because the kitchen is clearly doing its part.
