Jordan installed a Venture dashcam (front and rear cameras) into a GLE for me. They tapped a fuse box and ran a USB cable through the headliner for the rear camera. Super clean install as all the wires are hidden. Super happy! Prices are reasonable for the SCV. IMO Jordan's the friendliest of the aftermarket auto sound/electronics shops in the SCV. Dropped my son off for school, and as he shut the door, the window just fell into the door! I was able to get the panels off but pretty much didn't know what to do after that as I couldn't get the last panel off. I called these guys on a recommendation, and I'm glad I did. They were busy, but asked to come on by and when I got there, Jordan and I were able to get the window back into the "track," test the motor, and put it all back together. All together, about 30 min or so. When I asked him what I owed him, he said "nothing." Absolutely not, he settled on $20 (I was prepared to pay $100 for his expertise, knowledge, and time and probably should have). No matter, I have some lights and things I want to install on my F350, and I'll definitely give these guys a call when I'm ready for that. These guys saved my butt. We home school our kids and they've been listening a fascinating audio history program. They were big fans so you can imagine how upset they were when the CD we'd been listening to suddenly refused to eject. Well, history lessons in the car are over, and we ignored the problem until we decided to replace the car. Now it's been several months, we need to give this car away, the school program needs the CD's back and we're going out of town. This needs to happen immediately. I call and the the guy says that they're really busy but if I show up the next half a hour they've got a little time and can squeeze me in. 5 minutes after I arrive the CD player's out. 15 minutes later the CD is in my hands, the CD player is back in the dashboard and I'm on my way. I wanted to take time and send this review so that other folks might not have the same experience that I did. We had some work done on a security vehicle at a local performance shop (Very Good by the way). However, one of the tasks that they farmed out was the installation of a backup camera here at Soundsations. For the first few months, everything worked as it should. After that, the backup camera went blank and would not show a picture. I took it to Danny at Soundsations and they performed a "quick fix" by powering it down and then back up again and it worked for a while longer. Then it went down again and I called Danny and he advised me to disconnect the battery and reconnect it myself. Reluctantly (not my job) I did this and it again worked for several weeks and then went down again. Over the next several months this happened a few times and I took trips back and forth to the business hoping for a permanent solution. At this point, I called and scheduled an appointment to bring it in. I arrived and waited for an hour or two until they could "take a look" at it. Then I was told that they would have to order a new part. When the part came in they installed it but did not put my dash back together correctly and left tools in the car. So again the camera worked for a few months this time and then went dark again. After calling Danny and hearing the frustration in his voice he asked me to bring the vehicle in. He ended up having to keep it overnight and when I called the next morning he "Vented" to me about the manufacturer and having to drive to Chatsworth to get it fixed. Well, late that afternoon he called and said that it was "done" so I sent my guys down to pick up the vehicle. They arrived and picked it up and were about to drive away when they realized the digital display for the radio and the dash trim around it was looks and flopping all around. He went back inside to have them come fix it and all that they did was come out and complain that it had been taken apart too many times and that he probably didn't "bang it in hard enough. Then he told my guy that he was happy we were "out of his hair forever" This was the last straw for me. I emailed Danny and gave him 24 hours to send someone to my place of business and fix my loose dash. I received no reply whatsoever. So I believe in giving people plenty of chances to make things right which I did. I also believe that good customer service goes a long way in making up for mistakes or even frustrations. I did not receive good customer service from this business and I will not be taking any of my vehicles there ever again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. I hope that this honest review of my experience will help someone else avoid the same hassle. read more

Absolutely recommend this business. We first took our Tahoe in '17 for a dual dash-cam install and they did an amazing job hiding the wires, placing the cameras in optimal locations, making sure to not make them too obvious from the outside, and they were respectful. Yesterday we took our new car, an Odyssey, to install a dual dash-cam and again, they did an amazing/professional job. Both times they did not mind at all that we had our own dash-cams and worked well with us to check if we were comfortable with the placement of the cameras before they installed them. Danny, whom we mainly spoke with, was also very communicative with us before and after the installs. Furthermore, yesterday, after we picked up our Odyssey, we noticed a strong smell that was similar to burned rubber and which we hadn't noticed before so today I called to explain to Danny that the smell was a concern and if he wouldn't mind taking a look at it just to verify the smell wasn't due to the cameras' wires or the connectors needed to hardwire it. He explained what was done and said to bring the car in so they could take a look at it. We drove it around for a while and noticed the smell was gone so we believe it was either a fluke or a smell coming from something else as nothing electrical seems to be acting odd. I just called to say we don't believe it is any longer needed for us to take it in and the gentleman I spoke with was very nice about it and said that if we still doubt if everything is okay or notice the smell again to take it in and they can quickly check if it stems from the dash-cam or not. We are truly happy with the service we have received here both times and based on their response with a possible problem, we truly recommend them and we will be back for all future cars in our family. read more
