Ran the tractor backhoe into the tailgate on my pickup smashed it and poked a hole about dead…read morecenter. I considered using duck tape but figured I was keeping this truck. Pulled into Advance, walked in, met a receptionist she called into the back for someone to take a look at the damage. He took a few notes, put together an estimate in short order. We agreed shook hands I left the tailgate and he ordered the parts. Advance kept me informed of the progress when the repair was complete we setup a time to reinstall the tailgate. Advance took my truck back in the shop. I waited in a comfortable clean area for maybe 45 min. One of the guys in the shop brought the truck around we walked out. The repaired tailgate was absolutely perfect not a ripple in the sheet metal or pucker on the corners. The gate alignment with the bed, paint match and operation was unreal. All in all a great group of people working together and it shows in the finished product.

Part of that is USAA insurance, of course, but Advance Tech made sure everything was fixed and then cleaned the truck inside and out. They went over the whole back of the truck and found issues I didn't even think of (i certainly didn't notice that the trailer outlet was damaged). They had a decent loaner car and the staff was helpful and polite even while fixing it over the end of year holidays. I highly recommend them if you need body work (or to have your car detailed because wow!)

Most recently (2012) they fixed the head gasket problem on my 2004 impreza for about half of what I was quoted by mechanics in my area. I called them today about my new issue (catalytic converter and timing belt replacement), and the mechanic has always been pleasant to talk to, willing to discuss the problems, give me an estimate and supply good information. I've never felt talked down to (which can be an issue for women and car repairs), always a positive experience (as much as it can be for annoying/frustrating car repairs)
