After I asked them for a pay they got verbal with me over the phone and they never wanted to work it out. There record label never worked with major brands like iheart radio and mega 96.3 they are a scam and there artist are all local and not even dedicated to there work and time. They promote them self's to look good but cant even promote the business and grow or even expand in other contracts. We called the other radio stations around Los Angeles area and they never even seemed like they know who these people were. They say they wanted to help to grow and merge with a bigger brand but instead they decided to say that if I help you you help me kind of method. As far as am concerned in the use you. I never work for free you work for a paycheck. There artist that record in there label are being scammed. Don't know how they work with them personally but it's a total scam. I do not recommend going there. I invite them too my home and gave them food like family and they do this too me and other people by scamming them. Thank you.

I've worked with Hear No Evil to record music several times over the course of the last few years…read moreand the experiene is always excellent. The studio owner and recording engineer is highly knowledgable and friendly. The studio staff are all very helpful and organized. Everybody really cares about their craft. The space itself is beautifully built and invites creativity. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. There are several rooms for recording. As a drummer, most of my time is spent in the main room. The Hear No Evil team sets up sessions quickly while maintaining a positive atmosphere. My recording process has always gone smoothly. There are a wide range of instruments, microphones, and amps to choose from and the staff will help recommend what to use for the best result. If it's a longer session, there is a microwave and fridge to heat/store some food. Parking is on-site, free, and abundant. I give Hear No Evil my highest recommendation!

As an artist paying for studio time, that's incredibly distracting and disrespectful. I did not feel valued as a client. After leaving, I was repeatedly asked to rebook, instead of being asked how the session went. Bad vibes kill creativity. I would never go back. UPDATED Feb 1-11:24pm After leaving this review, the owner Elliot messaged me AGAIN on Instagram. Took zero accountability and only cares about his image. NOT the client. To address your comment, I asked for a discount, cuz your interns run the session. As Indie artists we have to fight to protect a space we paid for. Often times we don't have other options in the area so we suck it up, but no more! This is not a good studio. I would not go back. Look at how he responds to feedback...

I work for an AV installation company, and We contacted them for a custom designed rolling piece…read morefor a sound console, they refused to give us deign drawings for approval because they were afraid we would have someone else build it. So we had to sign off with no clear picture of what we were getting. It took six months of "oh we'll ship it next next month" "... End of the month" "...two weeks" etc. and ultimately a threat to pull our payment befor they shipped it to us. It was packed poorly enough that it broke in shipment. They sent a replacement of the part that broke two weeks later. It was in six pieces with no instructions or diagrams, and as far as securing the $15,000 console they sent a bag of Home Depot l-brackets and literally said "figure something out" Once we had everything assembled we went to take it to the client's site, and the weight of the legs on the companion side-car made them strip out of their mountings when we picked it up. As for the main console section, we loaded and secured the console and moved it from the booth to the house mix position (the purpose of the rolling cart) ONCE. W went over two door thresholds and one elevator entrance with three men easing it over each bump. On the return trip the cart was listing to one side because the wheel post had popped the tack weld on the re-enforcement grommet and bent the tube steel it was set in. Since we are on the East coast we offered to repair the cart, and take over the warranty, relieving KKAudio of all responsibility, in exchange for a partial refund. They agreed, but have yet to refund us any of our money and have stopped returning e-mails. All in summary, very slow, poor communication, poor craftsmanship, NO support and ultimately non-responsive. Do not get involved with these people.
