I had to put myself on tape for a TV costar audition, and chose Side Pocket Station because of…read moretheir very reasonable pricing and immediate availability. The studio is quite nice, if small--be prepared to wait in your car or the hallway, as they warn you in their thorough and clear confirmation email--and Steven is very conscientious about explaining his policies and method of working. Steven is efficient with his equipment and makes sure to focus the camera for every take, so no time is wasted. Be sure to take advantage of their generous offer to look at your sides in advance. Other reviewers have complimented on how prepared the readers are. I signed up very last minute and assumed they wouldn't have time to look at anything, but I would say to send your sides over no matter what. I was somewhat surprised when he hadn't heard of the show I was auditioning for, and surprised he hadn't seen the very famous show I used as a reference, but noting how prepared he was in other aspects, I assume that given time, he would have known both. If you plan to edit your audition yourself, bring a USB drive to get the files. Steven offered this to me, since he sends compressed files, but I didn't have one with me. The quality of the initial Dropbox files was too low to edit, but he was willing to send me a bigger file later in the day, for which I was grateful. Give yourself 24 hours, though in my case it came earlier. Note that they put their company logo at the front of your file, rather than the end. Check with your agent if this is acceptable to the casting director. SPS seems to have done a lot of work, so it may be fine, it's just not something I'd seen it before. In all, for the price and ease of scheduling, Side Pocket Station is a good bet. I would absolutely try them again if I could schedule in time for them to review the sides.

His backdrop was fantastic. His lighting was perfect. His camera was game on. Everything was completely fantastic. Easy parking even offered me a giant water. I sent the audition to my agent who is very specific and he said this was probably the best audition he's seen in years and I've sent in some pretty good ones. I must tell you I was pleasantly surprised and I watched my tape over and over again and it's spot on fantastic. Josh was even nice enough to send it off using active access and editing. There's no way there's no reason to go to anyone else. This guy is five star and I'll be recommending him to my students and coming to him for years to come.

Through his work experience, he was already familiar with our culture, so it made easier when we explained how we wanted our religious ceremony captured. In the end, Laky incorporated our religious ceremony perfectly into the wedding video because he took the time to learn about the different parts of the ceremony (it was in a different language), and portrayed the ceremony correctly with the correct background music we wanted for each section, even following up multiple times to ensure it was correct. Post ceremony on the day of, there was a miscommunication with our photographer, but Laky immediately stepped in and confidently directed us...he saved the day by photographing our day for us with no hesitation! For our couple photos, we had another problem because the photo spot we had in mind was closed off and Laky was, again, quick to pivot and found us amazing spots around our reception venue. I am not naturally photogenic, unlike my husband, but Laky and his team made us feel so comfortable with their effortless conversation. Their demeanour kept us relaxed and in the moment. We also really appreciated that they helped direct us and gave us certain poses and prompts when we didn't know what to do. Because of this we got the shots we love so much. Post wedding, some of our guests mentioned they also used this company for their own wedding and they also really enjoyed their wedding day with them. In the end, we highly recommend Laky's services and are so grateful to them for capturing our day so beautifully.
