I've been seeing Dr. Neal since 2011, and he genuinely cares about all of his patients. Dr. Neal is a self proclaimed gym rat and is capable of performing adjustments on larger guys like my husband, who is built like a football player (6'3" and big). Scott was very impressed after his last chiropractor could barely manage to pop his back once or twice. He has a more gentle approach for adjusting me though. Dr. Neal is a workaholic, totally devoted to his patients. He "takes" a 2 hour lunch but won't turn away a patient walking in the door at 11:55, even if he has 5 patients already waiting. I'm willing to bet some days he misses lunch all together. It just depends on how busy he is that day. He's always there to help even if it means sacrificing a lunch break. I recommend 8:00 or early mornings. Mondays can sometimes be busy, but it's just hit or miss. I've never waited more than 30-45 minutes anytime I've visited, and he has plenty of magazines to read while you wait. As mentioned earlier, you don't have to make an appointment. If it's just too busy I return a later time or come back a different day. As for massages: it depends on the therapist. Find one you like and stick with her/him. You DO need an appointment for these, and don't be surprised if you get a call from Dr. Neal to remind you about your appointment. Adjustments are included in the massage price, so it's a really good deal.

Dr. Kinnebrew would not touch my shoulder until I had my ruptured discs repaired. He did, however give me cortisone injections to ease the pain. I saw him after my neck surgery and he wanted to try physical therapy first. I can tell you this; Dr. Kinnebrew does not do the PT, he has a group in his building that does and that is a plus for me. I don't want to drive all over town getting care. I have not seen the man Bob N from Byron described. I KNOW Dr Kinnebrew isn't a yes man for the insurance companies but I also know he is smart enough to recognize a sandbagger wanting to be out of work longer than needed. I would rather have a brilliant, orthoepedic surgeon, very knowledgeable, a loving husband and father, who doesn't mince words in getting to the diagnosis and treatment, than a song and dance man, hemming and hawing about what might be the best thing to do. Dr. Kinnebrew is a fine surgeon, and excellent diagnostician. He might run late because of emergencies at the hospital or another patient needing him longer. He spends as much time with each patient as he needs to. He does see many patients, because he is the best in the area. Bring a book and be patient. You won't be disappointed. When I do manage to reach someone, the staff is rude and unhelpful. The nurses do not return calls. They has prescribed a medication that I am allergic to on multiple occasions, and it is nearly impossible to reach his nurse. Even when I explain that the medication prescribed could be life-threatening for me, no one follows up. They are also very poor at completing insurance forms correctly, and when mistakes are made, there is no support to resolve the issue. If you have any other option, I strongly recommend choosing a different facility.
