Don't even think to go and get scam and robed at this place The owner is a thief , and poor Adam is just a puppet, don't take me wrong he's a nice kid Trained to screw as much people as they can The guys that installed the equipment you buy there, don't even work there , they just get called and they have to bring their own tools and sometimes even their own parts Today 10/1/22 I'm taking my car to another place to get it fix Because their installation was so crappy and unprofessional that the new stereo is falling of the dash literally I made the mistake twice with this guys 1st time it went better than the 2nd time 2nd time it was bad as bad as it can gets I'm not saying who's the other shop to not create conflicts, but even them where like they can't believe how bad the installation of the system was By the way it was a 2000 dollar system Everything JL AUDIO , not cheap stuff Safe yourself the Trouble Please don't go in to this place By the way , I did not write the review until 9 months later after I bought the equipment and got it installed I was so mad with myself for been stupid and let those clowns taking advantage of me as the customer Just in case they read the reviews I'm the guy with the Toyota Avalon The burgundy one the guy who works for ACS , they will know who I am Do not buy the equipment and walk away Stay there and make sure they do install it on your vehicle My car was in pristine condition They F ..up carpet , dash , seats They just don't care about your vehicle read more

First off. I want to say I feel very bad for my husband. He has been through so much. Back and forth with this place. This place is a joke. Their service is terrible. They are ridiculously unprofessional and their work is terrible at best. He has had to go back several times to have his stereo system worked on. And he shouldn't have had to go back. The work should have been done right the first time. I made a huge mistake of having them work on my Mini Cooper only to have numerous problems myself. They did not install a backup camera properly and we lost the back spoiler. It's a $400 part. But they probably got it from pick n pull. Whatever. But they did a terrible job and wiring and caused my wipers to fault out. Well. They severed the wiper wiring. What mess. After losing my spoiler I would never let them touch my car again. This place is a joke. Period. They are so unorganized. Their staff is rude. They try to get over on you but guess what. Not all of us are stupid. I do not recommend this place. At all. Save your money. Go somewhere else. It will save you a lot of headaches and a lot of wasted time. Cause this shop sucks. read more

Good pricing, good service, easy transaction. They were able to get my aftermarket stereo installed within a day or 2, super accommodating. I went to another stereo shop that has a good rating on Yelp and they wouldn't even give me a price because they didn't want to do it, said it was a complicated job. These guys gave me a good price and were helpful. read more

Adam helped he out, big time! I can't say enough- especially considering I know next to NOTHING about audio. He directed me to a great product and I left feeling like I got a great deal for fantastic, quality equipment. Install was a snap and didn't take as long as I thought it would! 5 stars! read more

Sound Revolution gets one star for actually being able to stay in business. I saved up some money to buy better sound for my car. Yelp had good reviews, so I gave these guys a shot. Big mistake. $800 down the drain. My stock speakers were better then what I have now. I trusted Adam and his crew. I asked over and over for them to fix the sound. It never happened. Gotta save again to have someone else help me out. Just a waste of money. Stay away guys. Trust me. 2 speakers 5 channel amp 10in sub No mid bass. I hear a beeeeeeep when it's on. Pops when I put a blinker on. Sounds like a 1982 speaker box. SMH ‍ read more

I Went to get my original radio installed, but instead I opted to buy a newer receiver. Came with free install and it was speedy! Definitely meet with Adam! The man is knowledgeable about products, cares for your needs and knows just what you will need all for a great price. He was also willing to work within my budget and that was a BIG plus! I'm coming back to get speakers next. What's a top notch radio without quality speakers? Thanks everyone at Sound Revolution! read more

Yeah i guess they did the job they promised but the whole experience was very weird. The manager gives off sketchy vibes and you really need to know what you're talking about so he can't play you with some cheap equipment. They'll do the work they promise but make sure to price check around and make sure you're not getting scammed read more

The installation service is great. The installers are very knowledgeable and will do the work correctly. The reason why I'm giving only two stars is based on the customer service. I was originally quoted one price on a specific model of radio, the sales rep even wrote it down for my boss. Then not even a week later the same rep tried to say he never gave me that price and that it was three hundred fifty dollars higher. I heard him say to the other rep on the phone how I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about because it was a different model he mentioned and that he would have never given me that price on that specific model. That really made feel bad because I would never make up a fake price for no reason. So the fact that the rep was denying everything he had quoted me just five days before really let me know when they're not honest people. I later found the paper he originally wrote the radio models and prices on for me and sure enough he wrote down the lower price for that model. I don't plan on going back to them because now I know they only set their prices based on how gullible they think their customers seem. read more

I had a few things installed here about a month ago. I had some concerns about the service, but the manager Adam reached out to me and really changed my mind about the business. I had a really great installer fix my radio issue that was missed prior due to it being a particularly strange one. In the end, I did receive excellent service and will definitely recommend them. Their prices are great and are flexible with time. If you have concerns and are a nervous person like me, don't be afraid to talk to Adam about it. He takes criticism really well and that's a great quality. 10/10 read more

After 1 year the 6 dollar wiring harness that they charged me 150 dollars for failed and almost caught my corvette on fire. I had to purchase another 100 dollar adaptor and rewire the whole system. 1600 for the whole thing. I won't be making this mistake again. read more

I love this place! it's deceiving when you walk in but one of my philosophies, don't judge a book by its cover, judge based on how you are treated. Josh juggled three customers by acknowledging each of us, listening to our needs and wants, then telling us what to expect. He told me "okay let me see what these guys need and then I'll....". And did I mention his eye contact? Looked directly at me which made me feel like I was his only concern although he was multitasking. He diagnosed my problem with a patient and problem solving approach-and didn't make me feel silly when he identified WHY my CD stacker wasn't working (operator error!!!). Wish I needed audio equipment as I would've bought it on the spot. They are in demand and there's a reason why - don't hesitate to schedule your needs here!! Thanks Josh - you're an asset! read more

Definitely recommend Sound Revolution! I've been there several times now and they stand by their work! Adam didn't give me any problems replacing a subwoofer that was damaged and did everything possible to make sure I was satisfied with my sound system install in my 300C. Ken went the extra mile to make sure my wiring was up to par for the new amp install! I moved to the 209 about 6 years ago from the east bay and used to go to the same beat shop for decades. But living in the 209 I had to find a new shop and tried Sound Revolution on a fluke, and have been coming back since. I will continue to be a valued customer for years to come. Thanks for hooking me up with quality and standing behind your products and workmanship! read more

I went in today to replace my sons stereo in his truck that just went out. I was greeted by Adam who was super professional and knowledgeable of his products. Good to know that there is a reputable stereo installation shop that I can trust in Stockton. Keep up the good work! Many Thanks, John read more

Took my bmw here for a radio job and they messed my car up and I lost all communications to my car and they said I would still have it. When my bf went to pick it up alarm went off and he call me to tell me my dash communication was gone and they hacked all my wires and I had to pay to redo my alarm $300 dollars. I spent over $1600 to get a radio put in and ended costing me close to $2,000 to get my alarm fix. Never will I ever go to them and guys out there don't take your car here because they are hackers they butchered all wires to my car. The African American guy that was there started yelling at my bf why he set the alarm off and he didn't do anything but unlock the car and he was arguing with him and he told him to take that piece of shit car out of the shop. They would not admit to their mistakes and actions of what damages they did to my car. Piece of advice guys do t go to them unless you want your car fucked up like mine. I ended up paying close to $2500 to get my radio fixed. read more

I came here to get an amp and some speakers installed a few months ago. Adam gave me a good price for the labor. The best part was that if there were any issues after the installation, I could come back and they would fix it. The installers there were very nice and they helped me troubleshoot a ground loop. I even bought a sub since they gave such great service. They also carry a lot of brands that aren't shown on their website. If you're looking for something in particular, they can help you find it. If you're looking for quality parts and good service for your car A/V system, come here first. read more

Top notch management at this small town stereo shop. Very fair and reasonable priced.

I bought a new stereo for my truck in December, just got around to using the CD player in April. The cd got jammed in the player. I called and asked what they would charge to fix it. The response was nothing, it's under warranty. Took my truck in to have them look at it, asked a question about adjusting the backup camera not expecting them to do that, but no problem, they adjusted it, and even showed me how to do it myself if I ever needed to. These guys are great! I highly recommend them for any stereo work. read more

These guys are complete rip offs! Don't buy from them, if you do you should compare everything they try to sell you with prices on the internet. The guy at the counter was nice but a complete moron. He tried to sell me a system for my car for 2K and when I was going to leave he went down to $1600. It seemed like a deal at the moment, but he insisted I leave a $800 deposit even though they had all the items in stock. As soon as I left I got a bad feeling. I checked the prices for everything on the internet and found that they were over charging me for everything by A LOT! The deck was $999.99 and $450 on Amazon. I went back to have my deposit refunded and he said he couldn't do that without the owner's permission. I came back 2 times for that refund & he finally got the owner on the phone. He only tried to sell me more shit & basically refused to refund my deposit. I disputed the charge, but it was still a pain & they can't be trusted!!! read more

Adam at Sound Revolution replaced my Sirius radio because it quit working ; however he did not put a comparable one in my car. He installed a cheap radio in my car that had no rewind or pause. I told Adam that is not what I wanted and that I needed a rewind and he stated he'll order the correct radio and replace it at no cost. He said he would call me when the radio came in. I never heard back from him. I called weekly and said he was still waiting for it to come in. long story short, I had to keep checking back with him and he finally said he's going to charge me the installation fee to take it out and replace it with the correct radio. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with the service and the product. I never had my radio replaced because I'm not paying another installation fee and I will never go back to him. Also in the beginning, he said it would cost me $120 but then later he said he had to charge me $180. I found the same radio he installed in my car on Amazon for $39.99. read more
