I went in with my brother to buy oil for my 2018 toyota camry. The man argued with my brother saying that the type of oil my car needs (0W-20 synthetic oil) doesn't exist and that we don't know what we're talking about. We went to walmart instead and found it there. Yeah. Big help. read more

I went in and picked up power steering fluid I went to the register and asked them is this the correct one she said what type of car I said a 2014 Chevy traverse she proceeded to say I need transmission fluid. I said OK let me check and see if I have that in the car and then I left out, came back and told her no I ain't got that so she went and picked up was supposed to be transmission fluid. I didn't think to look twice at what she handed me which I wish I did as I realize something wasn't right the color and the way it was going in just didn't feel right, and I look at the bottle and she provided me with antifreeze. I was so pissed most of all no accountability wasn't concerned and even charged me for a piece to see if I can suck out the antifreeze which I think was not good customer service, especially on the mistake that you initially made. I would've been better off with the power steering fluid I originally had now I am stuck having to go get up my car completely flushed over this mistake but their attitudes and demeanor is what really unacceptable and I hope that they cameras have audio because I am paying more for something a professional in a store mistake and yes, I could've checked it but what reason did I have to think that's not what she gave me. I used to always come to this place because the service was good and it was close to home. I came here last night for a new battery and the guy who installed it did it wrong and blew out my fuse box, which I'm pretty disappointed about. I will no longer be a customer at this Auto Zone. Horrible service. I stood around for five minutes in line and no one acknowledged me or any of the many people behind me. Once a register opened the service staff member walked away without saying anything. When I finally was helped the service staff only asked me what I wanted after they answered their phone. I've had to jump-start my dump Trailer like 4 times this month--so I thought I should go to an autoshop to get the low-down. The really nice guy who at Autozone on West Hammer Lane (close to my home) tested my battery, said it was low--then brought it inside,and charged it for FREE. After he charged it, he re-tested it and the battery held the charge. I put it back in my trailer so I didn't have to buy a new battery. He could have easily pulled one over on me and told me I needed to buy one. The only thing I need to do is keep it on a trickle charger. Thank you Autozone...I have new love for you. read more

The old man working there was rude. Came in with my mom looking for windshield wipers and he didn't even give us time to look at my options and just handed one to me. When I asked what's the difference between the brands, he said the only difference was price. Then he went on to tell my mom how the "younger generation" are dumb and don't know how to save and what not because we think the more expensive the better. When we were paying, he was explaining the point card thing to my mom and kept saying "you tell your daughter.." when I was standing there and he could've just explained to me but I guess I'm too young/dumb to understand. Also, he kept bringing up his wife and ex-wives. Totally unprofessional in my opinion. read more

This is my go to automotive chain. This store is the closest one to me. That might be one of the only reasons I go to this one. Every time I need a part, this store doesn't have it. They are alway professional, but it is pretty annoying nonetheless. Then their is the wait... It is always packed, and there seems to be only 2 reps working. The only other thing that bugs me is that the oil tank always seems to be full. My advise is if you need something, call ahead . read more

Customer service sucks at this store. The way they ring people out wastes everyone's time. Prices are fair but you better hope you get the employee that is not lazy on your visit. I wish I could give no stars or negative s*** colored ones since all the BOYS that work there are A$$*****. JUST BECAUSE I AM A WOMAN dOES NOT mean I'm an idiot, nor do i enjoy being spoken to by 3 employees at once and trash talked by another. Every time I've been in there, there are at least 3 people working with only one at the register. You wait in line 10 min at the least, only to be sent to another register to wait another 10 min to purchase! The employees at this establishment were clearly not hired for their outstanding customer service skills. Over 10 visits to this auto zone and the only complaint is that the wait time is a little long sometimes because it can get busy at times, good service and very helpful workers, ordering online sometimes gives you a better discount. Would of given a 5 star but they need work on hiring a few more workers to help out. read more

Only ever go grab parts from this place if I have the old parts in hand, because half the time they give me the wrong parts. Idk how they can screw things up having the specs in front of their face... In this case I bought brake pads for a CTS and of course half way thru the brake job I notice they gave me the wrong pads needless to say I will be returning the pads and never going back to this location, this seems to happen all too often. Whom ever is doing the hiring here needs to start looking into competent employees. read more

I went in for new wipers. Saw three people there.. the older gentleman was on the phone helping a customer.. could hear the convo.. he was doing a great job trying to find what the customer needed at another store...there were two other younger guys there. One had a uniform...the other..couldn't tell. While the older employee continued to help his customer...the two younger guys kept walking by me while I was trying to read the book they supply trying to find the right wipers for my car...the only reason I didn't stop and ask them for help... one had a uniform and one didn't... so I assumed the one with uniform was helping the guy with no uniform. But nope.. pretty sure they both worked there cuz as soon as I got to register. They were both standing around while the older gentleman just got off the phone and he asked me if I needed help. Then I realized both younger guys worked there cuz the gentleman who helped me was talking to them about an issue with the register. The battery on my wifes truck went dead while in the area. She went to Autozone on Hammer and was helped by the clerk there. He helped her find the the correct battery an a real good price at that. He then assisted her in installing it. I was stuck at work with no way to get to her and the autozone staff was great! In my opinion this clerk went above and beyond.
