As someone who isn't great at small talk, I was always at ease around Dan and found myself laughing on a regular basis. The few times I was unable to book with Dan I worked with Lisa. Sports Medicine Northwest has this philosophy in spades and even reminded me of it. I had resolved I'd always limp after tearing my quad, and my time chasing my kids would be labored and short. I could not be more wrong. I feel grateful to have found this place! And, even more grateful for the progress I have already seen since being in their dedicated care. I felt compelled to leave a review because (1) this team knows how to help you and (2) I noticed a fellow reviewer's comments that upset me as a client of this facility. Not only did I find this other reviewer's experience to be the polar opposite of mine, I fear their review could potentially prevent folks who really need help from getting quality life upgrading help. (Also... contextually... it's worth calling out this other reviewer gave Costco 1 star! COSTCO! So... I mean if you hate deals and hate spending quality time with your kids... then Costco and this place ain't for you)

My most recent visit felt more like a magic trick than anything else. 8 weeks after a motorcycle crash, I was still suffering from ankle pain and limited mobility. I was certain I had a broken bone that wouldn't heal. I went to urgent care, got images, and was told to "give it time." I did, and it wasn't getting any better. So I decided to see Dr. Pond, who felt around in there, and was able to diagnose a minor bone displacement, and adjusted it back in place in 30 seconds. After 8 weeks of pain, I was fixed after a 5 minute process. I'm still in disbelief. If you've got anything going on, go check him out. You might be surprised with what's possible.

She is absolutely amazing. She is very caring, authentic, and very knowledgeable. She has been helping me with some issues with my feet, and I have seen a lot of improvement since I started seeing her. I have a ways to go, but she has drastically helped. I have also seen other staff at Sea Pines who are also amazing and knowledgeable. Carly and the administrative staff are also very helpful and help to provide a good experience. They are caring and very knowledgeable about insurance, billing, appointment management, etc. I have seen Julia at both the clinic location and the West Seattle Health club location. The clinic is a very minimalist space but also modern. I love the vibe and decor of the space. I highly recommend Sea Pines for your physical therapy needs and I can't say anything but good things about Sea Pines!

However, for…read morethe next visit, I was placed in the general exercise room where the therapist was seeing two other patients besides me for the entire hour I was there. This lead to frequent times where I finished my exercises and had to wait for the therapist to finish with other patients. I am reasonably confident that each patient being seen is being billed out at the full rate for the hour. Highline PT is part of a 250 clinic operation and they are in turn owned by an investment company, so maximizing revenue per patient is undoubtedly a desired outcome. Sad state of health care in America.

Era Terry worked with me on an arthritic ankle, and the results were better than I expected. Thanks to her treatment, I'm able to get back to daily walks for exercise -- something I really missed. I'm currently working with Fawn Cussens for pelvic floor rehabilitation, and her care has been incredibly personalized. She's very thorough and has a real talent for pinpointing specific muscle weaknesses, especially in my hip that are connected to pelvic floor function. I always feel like she really understands what's going on and adjusts treatment accordingly. Both therapists are knowledgeable, intuitive, and easy to work with. They bring empathy and humor into their sessions, which makes PT feel a lot less intimidating. They also do a great job of explaining things and giving practical, personalized exercises to do at home.
