I have been wearing state of the art expensive hearing aids for like 17-18  years. Genetic hearing…read moreissue plus working at my parents very loud factory after school, weekends and during the summer at a very young age without any hearing protection and later standing in front of a Marshall stack with an electric guitar for hours. Oh, and lets not forget along with that sitting on a 70 horse diesel John Deere with no cab during my farming years. If all that doesn't trash your hearing I don't know what will. So my beloved $7,500 Oticon Agil Pro's finally just weren't cutting it anymore even after many adjustment. Given the rules changed and finally could buy prescription grade aids over the counter I started looking for replacements. In the past i have had several pairs of Jabra wired and Bluetooth headsets before I destroy them by slaming them in a car door or leting them fall into a camp fire. Here come the new Jabta Enhance 700 aids. After much research these are the ones. Normally $1995  for the pair with a sale price and added discount by calling in to ask questions before purchasing I paid $1650. I know there are cheaper over the counter options but with the severity of my hearing loss the added cost was worth it. Also,  a main purchasing point is these are basically the same as aids from ReSound for 6k+. And  may be exactly the same repurposed for the over the over the counter market. Low energy Bluetooth streaming music and direct phone calls right to your brain and added adjustments on the fly directly from your cell phone. So far these have been great. My brain is still adjusting to actually hearing sounds again. I hear when squirrels are chomping on sunflower seeds on my deck, and racoons and other critters scampering around on my deck as well as other sounds. But most important, the most important thing is I can hear my partner from other rooms when she talks and I don't have to say, "What?" all the time. Extremely annoying for her to constantly repeat stuff and now way much better. I guess I get to stick around longer. Here to live another day. As your hearing changes just call support and they can program the aids via the mobile app in minutes. Shortly after delivery an orientation Zoom call is scheduled to insure you know all the componets and how to clean and care for your almost new best friend. The noise filters via the app as well as the programs for overall, restaurants, music, and outdoors work well. It takes a little bit initially to figure out what works in each situation but after a little trial and error it all comes together. There is a 100 day money back guarantee if these aren't for you which at this point I am quite sure I will not be using. A final note. Hearing loss impacts those around you as much, if not more for those around you. Don't be selfish. Get it taken care of. There are many inexpensive options out there. Some as low as $99. Make sure the aids you choose are not basic amplifiers of all frequencies but programed to your specific hearing loss.

Worse hearing aids ever!!!! Customer service is terrible. I financed interest free 18 months and…read morenot even halfway through the 18 and the things started acting up. That was the end of those. Constant emailing cs back and forth asking for adjustments which they sent, the only problem is that they'd hold the new setting about 2 days then they started acting up again. 16 months they said they would replace and they did but with refurbished junk that's worse than my originals. Buy from audiologist like I did with first pair which were Phonak and you won't be sorry like I am with Jabra
