Someone friendly is always available to help, whether it's answering a question, making a policy change or payment, or addressing a concern. What I appreciate most is how proactive they are with renewals. Every year, they shop my policies to make sure I'm still getting the best combination of coverage and price. If another carrier is a better option, they explain any differences in coverage so we can make the best decision for our family. If you're looking for an agency that is responsive, knowledgeable, and truly looks out for its customers, this is the one!

Their customer service is outstanding. Anytime I have a question, I get a prompt, knowledgeable response, and I always feel like a valued customer rather than just another policy number. What really sets this agency apart is that every year, before my policies renew, someone from their team re-shops my coverage with multiple insurance carriers to see if they can find me better rates or additional savings. They then take the time to call and explain my options. In my experience, that's a level of proactive service that's hard to find with other insurance agencies. Thank you to Karen Ehlers Insurance Agency for consistently going above and beyond. After more than 15 years, I can confidently say they are the best insurance agency in Montgomery County. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, honest, and exceptional service. Call them at 936-828-2503 and you can thank me later.

Common sense !!! I left Allstate and came back to State Farm due to $$. Savings. Big Mistake !!! I…read morehave 2 properties, 2 vehicles. They wanted to inspect one of the properties. No problem or so I thought. Inspector found 2 shingles that were damaged. No worries, it was fixed. He also said there were limbs over the roof on the detached garage. A metal building, 2 garage doors. Simple enough. All issues were resolved. Turns out this Idiot was talking about an old shack that has a massive oak tree growing through it. It's about to fall over. It's uninsurable to say the least !!! They canceled my coverage on my Hill Country Residence due to an Idiot Inspector. When I spoke to him on the phone, his speech was slurred. I should have told him to get off my property and wait for me to be there. I didn't. It took an act of God to get State Farm to realize their mistake based on the information from an Idiot Inspection !!! A few days later I get a check in the mail for my cancellation. I paid it for a year. I take the check to the agent's office to return it. They wouldn't take it. They said I had to deposit it and then pay em again !!! I did. I paid it for six months. I'll be moving all of my insurance to USAA or anybody besides State Farm. But Wait !!!that's not all. Both vehicles have this drive safe beacon. They track your driving etc etc. You get a discount. Ok, I'm in. One of the beacons was defective. It took an act of Congress to get my agent to order us a replacement. It finally arrived. I downloaded it, and it's working fine. Today I get a text message saying I owe them $21.00 for not using one of the beacons. I sent a message saying telling them where they can stick that $21.00 !!! State Farm is not a good neighbor !!!! Ever since coming back to the James Pearson Agency, my life has been through pure hell. They send an old wino out to inspect my property. He tells the company that I am trying to pull a scam by trying to insure a rickety old shed instead of the new metal building that is my garage.. the garage wasn't 65 feet right in front of your eyes. Unbelievable !!! This is the most messed up agency I have ever seen in my life. State Farm is just as bad !!! I hope I never need them because I know already what will happen. Go somewhere else !!!

However, they had one of the cheapest prices and so I called back with my vin info to get a final price. This time I got Carylon Nelson. Again initially I was not impressed, she seemed short overly busy and rushed. However, after numerous holds and phone calls back and forth we got me signed up. She really worked her butt off to find the company with the best prices to fit my budget. On our finale call she apologized and explained they were just really busy and short handed today. I understand that, I have worked in office, some days everything just goes wrong. That apology and explanation made the few minor issues I thought I had all better. Over all the experience was good. Just make sure you yourself are not rushed when calling to allow proper time to get the best quote. Also have all the information on hand, year/make/model/mileage/vin/ name/ address/ birth-date/ TDL number of all those on the policy, it will save the call backs and time.

Just a terrible allover IMO (independent marketing organization) for insurance agents. When I first…read morecontracted with them, I had a dedicated Marketer that only last 2 months and than I ended with another again that only last 2 months, they have a high turnover rate for marketers or employees in general. It was so frustrating to get any business going with this unprofessional company with the lackluster marketing to get my business going. I honestly gave up with them and said, why the hell would I give this IMO any business, so they are doing nothing for me. Getting contracted with carriers was a nightmare and even when I was contracted with 1 or 2 that I requested, I was not informed I was. Zero follow up from DFS. They keep emailing you about programs and webinars but they are all worthless, they just want you to produce for them, even though they don't deserve. I ended up taking a salaried job with a Corporate healthcare company that I was able to use my license for Medicare/Medicaid. At that time I put DFS on hold and looking back now, I should have left this company and went with another FMO or IMO. When the time came for to start up again, I stupidity gave DFS another shot, as they stated that the last couple of years have been learning lesson for them and they have a better employee now that could help. I would say, no they haven't and they over promise and underdelivered big time. My plan was to do Facebook marketing with one of the reps and she was going to handle the marketing side and do the ads placement for me and handle it as I made her the ads manger on Facebook. For $1k they were to deliver a website, business cards through qr code and ads for Facebook, I intern would fund those funds those ads. What they delivered was subpar, a generic QR code business cards and ZERO help on placing the ads on Facebook. The rep basically disappeared and didn't bother to respond to my messages after I had some technical issues on Facebook with adding her as a ad manager. After the issues were fixed due to a permission glitch on Facebooks side, this is where the DFS rep disappeared and I was left with doing everything myself. I didn't bother to place the ads, because once again DFS has shown its lack of helping its agents. They have shown they don't care and they just want the business run through them. I would say to new agents that want to contract with DFS stay away go elsewhere where they offer true agent support and don't have a high turn over employee rate or disappear to let the agent do all the work. DFS is not worth your time, effort and business you do in the INSURANCE world.

Good Luck if you decide to follow my decision to try their marketing plans. Allen Thomas
